Reviews of Management Development Institute of Singapore (MDIS)
I lived in the dormitory of this school for one year when I completed my master's degree in NUS. In a single room, students can use AC after 7 PM. There are also some shared facilities on each floor, such as bathrooms and microwaves. The room is not very big, but there are a few shelves and wardrobe. There is also a 711 in the campus. Overall, I think it is good enough to rent a room here if you do not require very premium living experience.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I am having an absolute pleasure studying at the MDIS campus, and I cannot recommend it highly enough! The faculty comprises world-class experts who are not only knowledgeable but also incredibly supportive and approachable. The curriculum is well-rounded and challenging, ensuring that students are thoroughly prepared for their future careers.
The campus itself is beautiful and equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, providing a perfect environment for both learning and personal growth. Additionally, the community at MDIS is vibrant and diverse, offering countless opportunities for networking and building lifelong friendships.
Overall, my experience at MDIS has been transformative and continues to exceed my expectations.
MDIS, or Management Development Institute of Singapore was founded in 1956, as a foreign language study centre at first (lee kuan yew attended the opening ceremony) and later turned into a multipurpose institute, hosting seminars, lectures, ceremonies, meetings and exams. Its located quite far from mrt, and about 5min walk from the nearest bus stop. Most of its surroundings are private residential areas, and it looks like a boutique hotel with its exterior design. There is a parking lot outside. The inner facilities are ok but a bit old alr, for example the elevator is so small that can only serve about 6 adults at one time
I had a fantastic guided tour at MDIS University in Singapore! The campus is impressive, with state-of-the-art facilities and a welcoming atmosphere. The tour was well-organized, and our guide was knowledgeable, giving us great insights into the programs and student life at MDIS. It was clear they prioritize both education quality and student experience. Overall, it was an inspiring visit, and I’d highly recommend MDIS to anyone considering studying in Singapore!
The best choice I have made for my studies.

Takes quite long to get their response from email and whatsapp, but other than that, I have no complain. I'm MDIS alumni and I feel lecturer here have caring and helpful personality.
Compound is well maintained and to a certain extent, self contained ( there are facilities such as canteen, library, gym, hostel and 7-11.
Impressive campus!!! And great people
It's really wonderful country
nice place
For my Vietnamese friends. This school advertises quite heavily, most study abroad consulting centers will introduce you here. I have studied here for nearly 2 years at mdis college but I also have a few friends who are brothers and sisters in the diploma and uni areas. Most of my reviews are BAD. Just talking about school is old, every Sunday a group of people come and sit all over the school, making me afraid to go out. Student support is also a bit slow. Receiving money from students is very urgent, but refunds such as dormitory room fees, mistaken deposits, etc. take a while. I study in college district. This area is located inside the dormitory, on the 4th floor. I find that because this area is small, everyone knows each other, quite comfortable. The Office is also dedicated to helping students, but sometimes the responses are very slow. Mdis College is a cram school, not a school. If you want to practice for the o level or a level exam, then come here. The teacher is very cute. But if you're studying for a diploma or uni, that's fine. I don't recommend it.
All I like about mdis is:
1. The teachers at the college area are very fun and professional
2. The school's location is not central but convenient. The school is also close to the school, so many people from the school come to stay here.
The school is located in Queenstown, next to the bahru village, holland village fun. Near Ikea, food court (in Margaret drive, 2nd floor, there is a Vietnamese restaurant that sells delicious food at super cheap prices, come and support her)
3. The school has 711 and many vending machines
4. Cuti friends, I met some Cambodian, Singaporean, Chinese friends
I think middle school and high school students who are planning to study abroad and want to have a school environment with many extracurricular activities should not go to mdis. It's a cram school, so if you just want to study to get a degree or don't want to spend time on other things, you just want to study. Teaching very well. Many students get high scores. If you want an extremely good school, 500 million in Vietnam to study Bvis, ssas, Vinschool is even better because there are many activities and subjects to choose from. If not, then in Singapore, SAS, ACS, NLCS, UWC are private schools with very good reputations.
If you're studying for a diploma or university, you should check out Kaplan, Smu, PSB which are better options than MDI at the same price range :)) Good luck!
