1. The teachers there are extremely dedicated and also very patient and nurturing. My boy likes his teacher very much (and since rapport is so important to them when they are learning), hence I continue to send him there. 2. If you need extra advice or help, the teacher will be very willing to share tips on what to do. 3. The school doesn’t give them homework. However, they use an online platform which helps to reinforce the words they learnt in the lesson, so that the child can go through it at home during the week. 4. The teacher uses ClassDojo to share details on what was taught in class. 5. Of course, the effectiveness is also dependent on many factors. I would say it is good to give them a try if location and budget works out for you. I don’t have any regrets sending my boy there.

Mandarin Stars has an excellent and unique Chinese learning programme that works! The teachers are well-trained in the Mandarin Stars method, and more importantly, they are kind and patient. Parents are updated after each week's lesson and we can see what our child has learnt. My child has gained more confidence and competence in Chinese since joining Mandarin Stars last year, and looks forward to the Chinese lessons each week as they are fun and interactive.

The curriculum of Mandarin Stars is specially tailored to children with learning difficulties. The teachers are kind and encouraging, and taught my child many different methods to remember Chinese characters. My child enjoys attending the class very much!
