For a few years I’ve been learning how to play piano memorising those synthesia videos on youtube. While I managed to play the notes, I felt it lacked depth and fundamentals. I was merely pressing keys on the piano, thus the songs I played did not have the feel to it. Thankfully I managed to find this piano studio to start my piano journey officially — to hone the fundamentals and techniques behind piano playing. After communicating my goals to Ms Liew (my piano teacher), she has helped me to develop my piano skills both patiently and encouragingly. I feel that these attributes of Ms Liew has motivated me to work harder for every piece she brings me through. I would like to extend my thanks towards Ms Liew and the studio for being a warm and comfortable place to learn piano no matter the age. Highly encourage others to embark on their piano journey with this studio.

i am currently learning piano grade 6 and have been with musik artz studio with ms liew as my teacher since p2. the studio has always been welcome and clean, sometimes even with decorations suited for upcoming celebrations. there are a lot of performance opportunities that we are encouraged to go for to showcase our effort and build our confidence. there is also a semi annually group class where the students come together to share our music and show how we have improved. during the group class, we not only showcase our pieces but also learn about music history and evern aural. the group class also helps us interact more with other students and help us make friends. the teachers and mr eze (admin) are very friendly and welcoming. for my experience with ms liew, she has always been very patient and supportive throughout the 6 years i have been with her. she also comes up with fun and creative ways to teach us. i would also say her teaching is rather effective, her support and teaching earning me a distinction in both grade 3 practical and grade 5 theory. overall, i have enjoyed my experience with musik artz studio and would recommend my friends to learn here.

Very nice place to rent for a small, intimate recital! :) The grand piano has a lovely tone and is well maintained, and the Principal, Ms. Liew is warm, friendly and willing to answer any queries. My pupils loved the venue, and so did I. Two thumbs up!!!

Highly recommend this place. I was a nervous adult learner who could only play by ear but my teacher was very patient with me, and gave excellent tips to correct my piano playing. She is friendly, professional, never lost her temper, and also very passionate about music, which is very inspiring for me to keep practicing!!!
