I graduated in 2014 with a Diploma in Design Communication. At Orita Sinclair, the teaching faculty does their best to impart the most practical knowledge and find opportunities to immerse students in the industry. Both curriculum and extracurricular activities helped us creating a robust portfolio, which is crucial in the competitive field of graphic design. Orita Sinclair played a pivotal role in shaping my career. This compact program was the right choice for me and like-minded classmates who were looking to switch careers without wasting years on theoretical learning. Most of all, Orita is a close-knit community where the staff and teachers were friendly and provided as much help as possible.

I attended the 2 day course titled WSQ Mixing Music Professionally in your home studio by Orita. Rufus, our course instructor is so knowledgeable and entertaining. You will not have time to doze off. It will be ideal if you already have logic pro as your DAW as the lessons are base using that. The lessons cover basic understanding of what is needed to setup a home studio. Students will get to try hands on learning how to mix and master a song. Rufus has great concepts and techniques in this aspect and I wished we had more time with him. If you are keen to learn about setting up a home studio and get a feel of mixing and mastering music. Look no further.

The up to date modules and lectures from the relevant industry practioner which is important for me and the small class size as well when choosing the course. I have enrolled quite a few courses from other institutions and Orita Sinclair is one of the school that felt right for me because of the warmth and friendly environment, be it the lectures, staff and students. Great teaching methods and most importantly, you won't feel that you are dragging yourself to school.

If you are looking at a warm environment and closely knitted school - this is a place to be ! I was reluctant to even return to school but no regrets as age indeed isn't a factor. I am old enough to be a mother to the millennials but not once have they made me feel like i don't deserve to be among them. Such a joy and wish i could turn back time. My work schedule is really chaotic but the school has gone above & beyond to help me through. Very personalized. Great school with not a huge student population, so the teacher to student ratio is good :-) Teachers are really dedicated and passionate in what they do, and always out the student’s needs and growth first.
