I really liked how the teachers in OVERMUGGED ensured that every single student that they teach walked out of the classroom with new knowledge and information that they would have never known. Last week (11 November ), I went to Teacher E-Lin's online class, and I still remember every single concept and question that she went through. As a person who struggles to grasp concepts easily,she was very paisent and clearly explained advanced concepts making me understand easily what she is trying to say.Not only that, she almost instantly answered my burning questions that my school teachers won't bother replying.During the semptember holiday revision session,I was curious and wanted to learn advanced skills and signed up for the secondary 4 E-Math class with teacher E-Lin even though I was sec2 at that time. I walked out of the class without a single question last, and I easily learnt the 2 sec 4 topics by the clear teachings of teacher E-Lin. I would say she is the best teacher I have ever met as she is very approachable and friendly.Lastly, I am very impressed by the curated notes done as it is very consise and have example questions with common mistakes clearly addressed. Thank you, OVERMUGGED, for caring for the students and even creating a September holiday revision course for FREE! It really shows how much you care for us and want us to receive the best results. Thanks to you guys, I got A2 for my math EOY from an F9!

Recently attended Overmugged’s booster class for JC1 GP with Mr Jia Le and it was superb. Mr Jia Le is a very friendly teacher that would go the extra mile to help you out with whatever you are struggling with, be it extra consultation or personally going through your essays with you! His lessons are also interactive and engaging, he always checks in with everyone to make sure everyone is following before moving on. Furthermore, the lesson materials are very concised which eases my revision.Had a fun and enjoyable time attending the booster class for sure!

I attended the June holiday E-Math crash course and it has been really helpful to me as our teacher (Mr Clarence) is really engaging and I am able to quickly revise concepts. The questions given for us to do are very relevant to recent O-lvl questions and our teacher highlights important points for us to take note of while doing them. This crash course has definitely proved to be very useful to me as it has made it easier for me to recall and revise concepts I have learnt over the past 4 years. Thank you overmugged for hosting this crash course and helping students in need like me!!

looks after student's clarity as well as student welfare. nice environment and the tutors are sure to walk around during lessons to ensure students understand what is being taught. they also respond to text to help students to clarify any school homework questions they might have. tutors are super friendly and encourages students. highly recommend 👍

i attended the June crash course: amath and english and i actually found it useful as the teachers explains the all the concepts needed and lessons dont feel boring and tiring like other tuition centres. The curated notes and practice questions that are likely to come out during exams are also very useful and im able to practice more during the holidays instead of slacking :) the lessons are fruitful and i might consider joining their regular tuition at kovan

Recently , I attended both June Crash Courses for Sec4 pure chemistry and pure physics , the lessons were very productive even for the 3 hour lessons , personally I felt that the content was very well covered in a detailed manner even though time was limited. I also believe that I am now more confident in doing questions for these subjects as I thought they were tough before attending the crash course, but through this crash course I cleared misconceptions and key concepts that my teacher in school had not thoroughly covered , but through the guidance and tutoring of the crash course tutor , Mr Darrell, I was able to grasp the new knowledge and exam techniques and strategies on how to break down questions effectively under his tutoring. I also believe that overmugged is a very good tuiton brand as their curated notes is also very detailed and covers all the knowledge that I need to know and I can confidently say that I can use their curated notes as as replacement for my school textbook as I feel that I can recap my concepts with their curated notes more thoroughly. I believe that everyone should give Overmugged a chance and attend their crash courses and regular tuiton to improve and attain better results because through my experience, their teachings skills are top notch and are way better than most other tuiton centres that I have attended before.

i’ve been a student at overmugged for about seven months, and i’ve seen tremendous improvement in my understanding of chemistry and physics. mr darrell, who teaches me both subjects, is an incredibly patient and friendly teacher. his focus on understanding over memorisation is a refreshing change from typical school methods, making his classes simple and easy to grasp. i was surprised when concepts began to naturally appear in my writing due to genuine understanding rather than memorisation. furthermore, he is very encouraging as he often treats us to bubble tea and is more than happy to answer questions after class. his life advices and personal stories also creates a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere in class. more than a tutor, he feels like a friend, making every class fun and engaging. overall, his unique teaching style and supportive nature have made learning chemistry and physics very enjoyable and fun. i have not failed to look forward to attending his classes since and would definitely recommend to anyone who is struggling!

overmugged has really helped me in my understanding of amath topics. my tutor, mr clarence, is clear when explaining concepts and how to get each step when going through question. he always asks his students questions when explaining topics to ensure everyone understands fully, always responds to queries patiently and clearly and is even willing to do so after tuition hours. his lessons are always simple and can be well understood, which helps greatly when it comes to learning topics that i have yet to encounter in school. overall, my experience at overmugged has been great and would definitely recommend :)

I attended Overmugged’s H2 biology crash course for 3 modules as I felt the need to recap my biology topics and strengthen my understanding. For the past 3 modules, I was taught by Mr Phua who is a really knowledgeable and fun bio tutor. Through these 3 modules, I learnt a lot from him such as how to answer bio exam questions effectively and a full and insightful recap on all the topics learnt thus far. The concise and well written notes along with Mr Phua’s engaging and patient teaching has made me more confident in answering bio questions in exam. Overall, I would highly recommend attending Overmugged’s crash course and Mr Phua’s H2 biology lessons!

"wow dis so cool, lez finish this form" As I clicked the azure, slick submit button, announcing my entrance into the June Crash Course programmes to the organisers of Overmugged, I never knew the wondrous impact this decision would make in my life. When the day arrived, I was mind blown when I arrived at the 2-storey, well-furnished and tidy location. Stuffed toys to calm the mind adorned the pristine tables like glimmers of light giving hope against the endless torrent of A-level questions, and the caring face of Mrs Pamela and her love for travelling gacs me the vibes of achieving academic greatness. As the other students came along, we were pleasantly surprised that there were succulent tidbits for us to munch on during our lessons. Mrs Pamela had a captivating way of teaching. Just like her love for travelling, we loved how she guided us through every Physics topic like a seasoned veteran - with a perfect pace and a patient smile. By the time the first lesson was finished, we had recapped the first few topics, as well as some difficult practice questions (the attacks of the Cambridge madlads are usually devastating to first-years like us), but with the help of Mrs Pamela we countered with ease and grace, and learnt how to covert Errors and Uncertainties into "perfect certainties" (we solved the questions) The 2nd lesson was even better. Unfortunately on that day I was sick, but that doesn't matter, any overmugged student can testify it was, too, a wondrous experience. Them came the 3rd and final lesson, the practice exam. The dragon had reared it's head, but Mrs Pamela told us not to worry. As we calculated centripetal force, delved deep into the Principle of Moments and fought to understand force as the rate of change of momentum, beads of sweat formed on our faces. However, we were undaunted, backed up by Mrs Pamela's tips, tricks, and words of encouragement. With a final tap of the pen, we finished the paper. After Mrs Pamela went through the paper, I was really surprised I got a A grade! As a student that barely scraped a B in my WA1, this was a pleasant surprise. And if this doesn't convince you to sign up for Overmugged, I don't know what will x_x So what are you waiting for :00 by an ASRJC student

The June crash course really helped me clarify my doubts about my math knowledge. Mr Clarence was really patient and he never minded to repeat his explanation. Even though the crash course was 3 hours long, time flew by super fast and the things i learnt was abundant. Through this course I feel more confident and I think i’ll definitely do well for my Math prelims and O levels. Thank you overmugged for hosting this june crash course ❤️😁🤪

i chanced upon overmugged online and I came here for the math and science EOY revision workshop! it was located superr near serangoon mrt (5 mins walk) when i came they gave us so much freebies! such as a revision kit which was so helpful - it was so concise and i could easily pick up the main points, they also gave us a revision ws which was packed with loads of qns related to what im learning in sch! love the snacks and water too! it really motivated me to study. the teachers were also so fun and they included humor in their lessons in order to help us understand, during teacher Kaiwen’s class i learnt so much in that 2hrs! it was a good recap for my EOY. the teachers there were also all so experienced! definitely considering to go overmugged if i need math or sci tution next year! recommending overmugged to all my friends! ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

To begin, i want to thank overmugged for having free lessons during the September holidays. I really learned a lot. No matter for which subject (i attended phy,bio,chem,emath,amath and english) all tutors really went the extra mile in order for us to really understand the topics/contents covered. Personally, my favourite tutor is Darrell (chem). Most of the tutions that i went to always say "no need memorise, no need memorise" YET they dont give any solution.... Darrell really makes the lesson interesting by having different acronym for things you need to know (not memorise coz after the acronym, it will defo be in your head!) He also goes the extra mile by staying back after lesson to answer our queries. Even though the joruney to Serangoon is quite far for me, i strongly think that it was worth the trip. If Serangoon is also far for you, and you're still considering, trust me when i say overmugged is definitely pefect for you if you're looking for a tuition that isnt just all talk. Ovemugged provide the best platform for you to learn slowly and if you have any questions, the tutors will be more than welcome to help you! They also provide free notes for you to prepare for your exams which I think it is very useful especially for last minute bite size revision. Thank u overmugged😀

I attended the EOY free revision sessions in order to buff up my knowledge on the subjects before the exam. I particularly enjoyed tutor Darrell's chemistry lesson. I enjoyed his lessons as he was able to clearly explain the concepts of the chemistry topics. Especially since stoichiometry was one of the more difficult topics in the entire chemistry syllabus for secondary 3, I was really impressed with how he was able to use various analogies to educate us about the various formulae and concepts that are harder to understand. He would patiently go through the questions in the worksheet and answer our questions whenever we are in doubt. Moreover, he taught us a few memorization techniques for some of the chemical names that are more important and that we have to remember during the EOYs. I remember going back to school after the holidays and having a revision quiz on acids and alkalis that I did well in because of tutor Darrell's memorization techniques. Definitely would recommend Overmugged to the rest of my friends. I even encouraged some of them to sign up for the upcoming IP EOY revision session at the Serangoon outlet. Really looking forward to learning more at Overmugged.
