I first got to know of Pei Li the artist through her impressively beautiful flower crafts. Was delighted to find out one day that she conducts art classes for children, in Mandarin no less! My children have been going for her classes for a while now and they absolutely adore their time there. And their creations! So interesting and unique, carefully thought out to introduce different themes. Appreciate the entire process from concept to design and planning and finally creation. Very friendly teachers. We also really appreciate the detailed updates after class. Observations of child, photos, videos etc. Thank you for setting up such a lovely art school and being such a lovely person too!

First got to know Peili when she helped organise art and craft activity during my daughter’s birthday party. The little one (and friends too) enjoyed it so much that she wanted to continue on a regular basis. Love the concept of story telling before the kids start on their craft. At the same time, this class helps to cultivate kids’ mandarin skills in a fun way. Definitely worth the journey ferrying her every Saturday, seeing her enthusiasm for this weekly session

Pei-Per Arts School is truly one of a kind. Pei Li’s passion for arts and crafts can be seen in the lessons she prepares. Each class is creative, well thought out, engaging, and, best of all, taught completely in Mandarin. Pei Li also has a knack for selecting the best Chinese storybooks to share with the children! My daughter looks forward to her class every week and always comes home feeling proud of the beautiful work she has created. We’re extremely pleased she’s being introduced to new materials/mediums in such a fun and supportive environment.

Joined Pei-Per as I wanted my child to speak more Mandarin and at the same time do crafts- something that she really enjoy. She looks forward to the weekly “Art lesson”. I especially like that they put effort to read to the children relevant materials and make crafts in accordance to different themes. For instance Mothers’ Day, Fathers’ Day, National Day, International themes as well like African culture and so on. This helped to increase her exposure. Teacher Pei Li also made an effort to update parents what has been covered fortnightly, which I really appreciate. Thank you so much! (:

The idea behind this class is wonderful: the class is conducted in chinese, she reads a book and then does a related craft after. My daughter loves doing art and craft, and she looks forward to every lesson even though she dislikes chinese! It gives her the language exposure while doing something she enjoys. Pei Li also keeps parents in the loop for lesson plans and sends us photos after each class. Her craft is beautiful and she proudly displays it at home.

My girls have attended art classes before in various different schools, including Harobee, but Peili is definitely the best-in-class art and crafts teacher in Singapore. Each and every one of her ideas are uniquely conceived and implemented with meticulousness and passion; My girls never failed to wow me with the art works they bring home every other week or so. Being a mother of 2 herself, Peili is excellent with children. The best testimonial comes from my children, who looks forward to her lessons every week and even request for longer lesson times.

Our child has been with Pei-Per Arts School for 6 months and we love seeing how proud she is of her work every time she comes home. The children are exposed to a myriad of artists and styles and are given the opportunity to explore many different art mediums such as painting, clay modeling, 3D paper crafting, batik, and integration of electronics. Her teachers are very patient and work closely with them to master her fine motor skills.

All three of my boys attend her craft classes and they love it. Her classes are all meticulously planned, right down to the materials used. I love how she ties each class and the activities with a storybook that she will read to her students in that class. That’s so clever! Plus, the class is taught in Chinese. That’s wonderful for me as it lets my three boys get more practical exposure to their second language. Take a look at the creations by her students. Beautiful and items I’m proud to display at home. Friends who visit our home love the craft creations and are pleasantly surprised that they were done by my sons in these craft classes. Her creations are at times very practical as well. Take for example for CNY, the boys and her made little monster ang bao bags for them to carry their ang baos in. For Christmas, the boys created wonderful Christmas decorations that they were delighted to hang up on our tree and we will continue to hang those up year on year.

My 2 children attend Peili’s Mandarin art class and they love it. Peili is extremely creative and patient. We believe in immersive language learning and this is perfect for our kids. It’s a bonus that each time they bring home art, they become decorative pieces at our home ❤️ thank you Peili!

My girl looks forward to Sunday morning every week because of Pei Li 老師 art & craft activities! Lessons are planned thoroughly with story telling, art and craft sections. I’m so glad that cultural aspects will also be included in art class, that’s definitely a bonus! Highly recommended!

Engaging lessons conducted in mandarin, perfect way to increase exposure for child to the language. Crafts are beautiful and sufficient attention available per student to assist the child when required. My child is very happy and feels accomplished that she is able to do the craft.

Pei-per Arts School was a dream come true for my kids and I. I am in no way artistically inclined but I am always fascinated by how toddlers and young children can make art out of anything if you let them. However, it does get tedious and boring (at least for me) after the 5th doddle drawing. Pei-per Arts School is the perfect blend of bilingualism (we mostly converse in Mandarin at home), exploring the use of various art mediums and styles, and having lovely displays of art and even keepsakes in the home every 2 weeks! How I wish they were already establish 6 years ago when I had my eldest. Then maybe he would have more fun with art. Thankful they are around now for my 4 year old twins. They really enjoy the classes and look forward to going every week! I would definitely recommend Pei-per Arts School to anyone who have young kids and keen to try out art classes. Pei-per Arts School is definitely 1 of a kind!

My 4 year old enjoys her art class so much! What’s special about Pei Li’s art class is that it is conducted in Mandarin and they will always start the class by reading a book! My girl didn’t like speaking mandarin, and since she loves art and reading, this is definitely a class that we had to send her! And the artwork they do is beyond expectations, simply amazing! And now, my girl starts conversing in mandarin with us at home! 👏🏼👏🏼 so thankful to have found Pei Li! ✌🏼

Teacher Pei Li has been a dedicated and patient teacher to my daughter. She knows how to engage the children deeply during the lessons. I have been sending my daughter for arts school for about 12 weeks at a friend’s recommendation. She is 3.5 years old so one of the youngest ones in class and I am amazed at the crafts she is able to work on! They are seasonal and feature items like Christmas trees, lanterns,… She enjoys going to class and walks right in saying bye to me confidently. I would love to do more craft projects with my daughter but honestly don’t have much time or patience to source the various supplies. This class is perfect (and gives me a 1 hour break every week). Would highly recommend for parents who want to encourage creative kids to develop their budding abilities!

My daughter’s been with Pei-Per Arts for about 3 months now. Coming from a non-Mandarin speaking family and being on the younger side (4 yrs), at first I was worried she would find it a bit difficult to adjust. But she has loved every session and is always eager to go back. The teacher is super accommodating and the structure of the class is unique as it starts with a storybook which is usually followed by an art project that is inspired by the story. The artwork is very creative, working with different materials and mediums and I actually look forward to displaying her art pieces around the house! All around, I would say it is a fantastic class that builds up creativity and encourages a fun way to learn Mandarin. Would strongly recommend.

As a mama who dabbles in crafting, I am of the opinion that many of the how to kids craft found online can be tackled at home with a trip to Spotlight and a dash of patience. Pei Li’s school offers so much more. With random STEM experiments and song and dance, she introduces art and the occasional Picasso and Miro in Mandarin (major plus!) to the children. From her robust resume of stunning flower installations for big brands, to her personal updates (which we all know are time consuming but well appreciated by us parents) - With Pei-Per Arts School, you know your kids are in great hands.

It’s so rare to find classes conducted in Mandarin, that aren’t academic. Pei Li 老师’s class is perfect for inculcating a love for the language through stories and activities kids love. Pei Li 老师 herself is passionate and warm. Both my sons settled into her trial class quickly, converse in Mandarin and now look forward to it weekly!

My daughter always looks forward to coming to class. The art works produced are super creative, delightful and amazing. So incredibly very well thought of and really detailed.
