This is a very supportive school for both the parent and student, not just academically but also the well being of students. I am very grateful to the school for their partnership in nurturing and taking care of my child. Thank you so much and keep up the good work!

Riverside secondary is an excellent school, and this is why: Batch of 2015, and my first day in Riverside left me utterly speechless. The moment our old principal (Mrs Tan) took a step onto stage, the entire school fell silent. The amount of self-discipline and respect the Riversidians have to the teachers and staffs is outstanding. Our seniors sang the national anthem and school song with a deep sense of pride and honour too. Finally, Riversidians are a bunch of highly motivated students who are constantly craving for various opportunities to achieve in both their academics and their character.

I just graduated from this school as a Sec 4 student. To be honest, i didnt expect much at first cuz I did not make an informed choice when selecting my secondary school and just chose a school that was close to my T-score. I would have to say that I am very surprised at how good this school is. The teachers make this school extraordinary. For the language department, we have skilled English teachers who are strategic when it comes to planning of lessons, distribution of assignments, etc. I was lucky to have a passionate HCL teacher whose tips have helped me improve my chinese standards really quickly. Most of the teachers here truly care for their students. They do not judge students based on past performances and are willing to help every child reach their fullest potential. I have lost count of the number of times I have consulted my subject teachers after school. I am truly grateful for the teachers here who are life-changers, advisors and counsellors. I was also blessed to have a skilled history teacher who explains concepts well. She knows how to motivate her students and prep them for national exams. Facilities are pretty well-maintained. To conclude, it was truly a blessing to spend 4 years in this place. Im really attached to this place and hope that the next batch of students would enjoy their secondary school life like I did. :) -2020 Sec 4 Student
