Reviews of SAFRA Toa Payoh
We regularly come to SAFRA Toa Payoh as we live in the neighbourhood. Good amenities with restaurants (McDonalds, Toastbox, Aston’s), infant care (NurtureStars), swimming pool, gym and event halls. Good place for families!
Leonard and Yi Ping are very prompt in fixed up very quickly! Kudos to their great and efficient work done! Keep up with the excellent job 👏👏👏
Love this place, cooling, peaceful, broad wide sofa for me to relax while watching the programs shown on multi-screens and with free Wi-Fi I could watch my favourites dramas on my mobile too. Overall a good place to rest.
Update: now they have control on the noise. Usually stop at ard 1030pm
Edit 30 jul 2023: with evidence of people singing at cafe outside bowling alley past 12am.
Inconsiderate safra management that allow tenants to operate karaoke into late nights often past 12am midnight. The sound(noise) travels to the residential areas, pass the stadium, affecting people's sleeping time.
Visited SAFRA for the Halal steamboat buffet and was not disdapointed. The Tom Yam soup tasted authentic with wide selection of ingredients. Price is reasonable.
A place for social, recreational, sports and educational facilities for NSmen and their families.
Very good location for swimming, sporting and relaxation. Suitable for kid's, family and friends.
Was given a birthday voucher by AIA so I just visited one of the restaurants in their list .. ordered a few dishes but nothing fantastic!
No need to queue at swimming pool 5pm. 30-40 people inside.
Love the Swimming Pool. Free for Members.
If you go to Mac, order Extra Value Meal, can get free Sundae / Apple Pie.
The bowling alley is very good with 20 lanes. If you don't want to wait for a lane on the weekend there is usually one available if you arrive before 12.
My kids enjoy the baby pool
Great place to hang out and occasional great deals for members.
Location's quite accessible by public transport (walking distance from Tampines East MRT), its got tennis courts, a bowling alley, a swimming pool, and a pretty decent (but not amazing) gym. Food options aren't great, and there isn't an e-mart, hence the 4 stars instead of 5.
A great family oriented club. Open to the general public for their food joints that includes Macdonald's/ Astons and other various eateries. Lots of kids enrichment centres and a big kids indoor playground (chargeable). Members enjoy discounts off listed prices for their shops.
Staff are friendly and helpful. The facilities and amenities are considered as sufficient for the club members and non-members. The only downside is the parking lots need more. Currently and at times, one has to wait for an available car park lot for about 45mins or so.
Well it has a special spot for me. Watched my nephew win gold here in fencing. Used the gym here regularly. Cool pool. Statisfied with the place. The drive through macs is awesome especially on a rainy day.
My favorite place for squash and swim. Lots of eateries catered for chit chat and family meals. Great place for kids to learn martial arts, academic enrichment, swim class. Adults evening there for billards drinks and karaoke.
Lots to do here at this SAFRA club!
Went to Kids amaze, price is reasonable and my kids had lots of fun!
They have McDonald and very spacious as well with baby chairs available.
A very nice place for recreation like badminton, gym, swimming and billiard. Plus there are a few restaurants to choose when you are hungry. Buses is the best choices as mrt need a good 15mins walk
Really like the place with all the options for the kids, for a quick bite and for Kids Amaze that is always a good option for rainy days and for kids' parties. Being a member is rewarding finance-wise. I have not tried out all the options but I keep exploring.
Nice and clean and bright. Good pool for both kids and adults. Has a kidzamaze that is pretty big. Limited halal dining options (McDonald's only)
Place was such a vibe and nicely built. The place was beautiful and there are so many food stores and even a bowling alley to enjoy at!
Went to my usual Aston. Realized it has been renovated.brighter, cozy. One of my favorite place to have a decent relax meal
yea theres lots of things at safra toa payoh
i come to play badminton and eat astons. if u have safra member u have 10% off! but idk if they raise the price by 10% first so ymmv
Lots of appropriate facilities for families with young kids. Love the look of the Dance Studio and hope to try some classes here one day. Pool is good thou not full Olympic size. Bathroom can be yucky, similar to most of the other SAFRA clubs. Quality of finishings are lousy, even the newly renovated ones. Best of all the older life guards in this TP outlet acts more like bouncers, than life guards, when approaching visitors having problems at the gantry.
It's have many places to eat
The food there are so good
Lots of activities on a weekend.
Huge building on 4 floors.
Place to send your kids. Got indoor playground, tuition centres etc. Besides those, there are also some eateries and shops and swimming pools. Otherwise, not much going for it. Quite near to Toa Payoh MRT though.
It is a great place to bring your family, loved ones and friends to catch up, dine, have a great time of swimming, workout in the gym, etc.
Lots of eateries to choose from and for those who loved "exclusive" peace from the norm public; SAFRA Toa Payoh can be a good place to read a book. (Peak hrs in the late evening or weekends, you should know what kind of crowd you will be getting.)
Wonderful and safety place..😊😊💗
Open to public, restaurants, and drive through McDonald's available . Paid parking. Sports and family leisure place.
Dropped off old army equipment and uniforms. There's a container (& additional 2 green bins) in the basement carpark next to lift lobby A. Very quick dropoff, within the carpark parking grace period.
Really neat gym facility complete with sauna and jacuzzi in a single price of $5.35 for Safra members and $8++ for non-members. However only 2 squat racks and one flat bench press, could use more of these equipment.
Had great time watching world Cup match with friends and my son. Convenient with McDonald's restaurant nearby.
Exceptional facilities. They have bowling, karaoke, swimming, fitness gym, squash courts, badminton courts. Really amazing and affordable for all Safra members.
Great playground for young ones.but with only 1 lift serving KidsAmaze n BowlingAlley you can imagine how congested it was.esp wen theres no staircase available!!
Cozy and friendly country club that serves delicious food. Must go during off-peak hours on weekdays. Ample parking too!
The EnergyOne Gym is well built and fairly well equipped compared to similar gyms (e.g. anytime fitness). It has a spacious toilet and shower and also a fairly big steam room with Jacuzzi. The 2nd level has a nice view of the pool as well as some more machines. For the price of the membership it is asking, this is definitely a worthwhile place to check out.
A tip for those of you who are traveling by bus. Go to Boon Keng or Potong Pasir MRT and take buses that will drop you right in front of Safra. Buses from Toa payoh will stop opposite and it is quite a bit of a walk because there are no overhead bridges and jaywalking is dangerous as the road is fairly busy one.
Nice and clean. Only issue is the smell for people with sensitive noses. Strong smell of perfume. Otherwise will rate 4 stars.
Limited lots if there is an event there. Parking can be hard to find. Otherwise the place is fine. Good place to chill with some nice restaurants residing in the premises.
There's eatery in the bowling centre called Beer Alley. Their western food is not bad. Comparable to Aston downstairs.
Great experience at the bowling alley and the snooker room. Well renovated and ample parking space with reasonable hourly rate if you are a safra member
Enrichment centres, a few pocket friendly restaurants, and some recreational facilities. Worth trying.
SAFRA TP has several good restaurants !
You won't be disappointed for choice n size of outlets .. can easily accommodate family size numbers ..
Good selection of food, facilities. Often has interesting activities, courses or sales here. Has a drive thru macdonalds
Conveniently located, spacious rooms.
I never went to this place. This is the first time i being to this place. Actually i were interested to do execrise in the gym. I realised there was a bowling alley. Things has changed in this place.
Really good place, a lot of enrichment classes and restaurants.
Great place to be at. Hometeam Members should come support too. Gym and Swim with Safra members friends.
You need a membership to really enjoy the facilities here. Car park can be quite limited during peak periods
Nice place. It's gay
I like its bright and spacious. Especially its squash court is better than the court I played in Taiwan > <!!
The swimming pool there is cool, equiped with a gym, an indoor.playground and some resturants and eateries
Another day @ TPY
Full On bowling...
Like the place. Lots of restaurants. A good place to go for families.
Quite a big and well equipped place. You will find all the common entertainment here
Went here for karaoke. A good place for family hangout with a lot of kids activities
Great customer service from the Energyone gym and the main customer service counter when applying for both memberships
Need to walk abit if coming from Toa Payoh Mrt . There's bowling alley there , $5 / person . Cheap !
I liked it. However some restaurants like Mcdonalds are very crowded and noisy.
A good place for family visit except parking problem due to renovation work in progress.
I think it's the best safra. A number of food choices, big swimming pools etc. Wish punggol safra was more like this.
Nice place to relax with alot of good restaurant
Company annual meeting, the best choice for group banquets, authentic taste and excellent service
Nice place to do healthy physical & mental activity
There is a club for eating, drinking and having fun. Members have discounts, but non-members can also come.
Delicious, fun, not too crowded
You can enjoy bowling, billiards, karaoke, and even exercise at the complex, but unfortunately it gets crowded and the waiting time is long.
