Great Place... focused simple fun straight to the viscera rock music, for most of us they dont dwell on serious theory, but all of the teachers step that part up for any student so inclined . Teachers are stalwarts all, experienced and highly skilled... They also organise student jams and concert which is the icing. The little jams make all the difference. For a student and an instrument novice, I almost never have the experience of playing with a drummer (or any other rhythm section part). So find these really good, challenging and educative. Plus of course - now we have so much more instructor involvement - it's both a privilege to watch them (and you) go about working a song performance, and helps strengthen our playing chops so much

Studio 72 is amazing! I was playing the guitar via YouTube and what not for a year or two in California, prior to moving to Singapore. It took me a couple months to find Studio 72, so glad that I did! Mel, my instructor is so awesome!! He’s very patience, fun, easy going and just an overall enjoyment to be around. I’ve been taking classes now for 6 months and I can tell you that not only my playing has improved dramatically, but my music theory has improved as well. The “family” at Studio 72 has become good friends and I’m very grateful! It’s not just the instructors, but the other students as well, it’s a very tight nit bunch of folks here! Ivy runs a tight ship and everything goes very smoothly with her at the helm. She also plays in a band and they rock! No posers here, all the instructors has a lot of knowledge and experience. I highly recommend Studio 72 for anyone who is interested in music and want to meet the friendliest, most fun people around!

I have been taking vocal lessons with Teacher Derrick at Studio 72 for the past 6 months or so. He is a very friendly and encouraging teacher. He is clearly passionate about teaching. I am not the easiest student to teach as I have many stubborn bad habits but he is always patient and often introduces many different approaches to help me understand the technicalities of singing and how to better improves my vocals and overcome any pain points I have with my voice. Classes with him is always fun and interesting. I have learnt many things from him. Highly recommend him as a vocal coach:)
