Really glad my maiden experience being exposed to a whole new world under the sea was with the Dive Ship - a family of passionate, entertaining and knowledgeable instructors. Derek and Leon were incredibly patient instructors who were more than equipped to deal with any safety issues or concerns that came our way. We had a splashin' time, 10/10 would recommend! :)

Completed my OW diving course at tioman with The Dive Ship. Thanks especially to our Instructor Daniel Tan for being patient and guiding us with our safety as the top priority throughout the whole diving course process. Besides that, thanks also to our dive master – Mark Leong for the unlimited support and taking care us. Awesome Instructor Development Course with Jason (Course Director). Jason was accommodating and he caters to our busy schedule and even did a few one-to-ones with us to know our strengths and weaknesses and with the help of his IDC staff Instructors as well to help get us up to speed for the Instructor Exam. It was an awesome experience! If you are busy, don't wish to take leave like me, do it with The Dive Ship. Highly recommended! Special thanks to the staff instructors as well Jeffry, Leon and Instructor Lionel to help with revision on theory!

I had my first experience with scuba diving when I did my discover scuba diving with the dive ship and it was great! I was a little scared but the instructors were very patient and gave me a lot of confidence as they taught me. Looking forward to my open water course in the near future!

This was my virgin dive trip, and it was such a rewarding experience. Jason was a great coachand helped to calm me down when I was pretty nervous at the start. He also planned all the details which made it a fuss free trip for our group. Definitely worth joining one of their dive trips for an amazing underwater experience!

Jason and crew take a fresh approach with passion and flexibility, with an emphasis on having a good time. I went on a leisure dive with Jason to Pulau Tioman and enjoyed it a lot! He teaches concepts very clearly and patiently. (Y) Edit - went on a second trip with Derek, to the beautiful Tulamben beach in Bali. Had a great time watching my friends learn from him. His teaching was clear and he makes sure we are safe and learning at all times.

Biggest thank you to The Dive Ship for fitting me and my sister at such short notice, even if it meant spending Labour Day back at the office to squeeze in our theory lesson (thanks Jason!) We didn't know what to expect of our pool session and struggled initially but Derek was very patient and kept encouraging us to try again and again especially when we were stuck at the mask-clearing skill for the longest time. The Tioman trip itself was very well-organised and there were no hiccups along the way, everything was seamless from the transport to the accommodation and of course down to the actual dives. Once again we struggled to get accustomed to the sea water but Mark was also incredibly patient with us and ensured everyone's safety. After struggling on the first day and having had Mark correct us again and again, we all finally managed to do the dives on the second day struggle-free!! Not sure what it is about The Dive Ship's instructors and their patience that never seems to run out- I've already recommended and will continue recommending The Dive Ship to anyone who wants to get certified. Thanks so much again guys :)

Overall great experience at tioman! Thanks to Derek and Xyman for making the learning process smooth and rewarding! Thanks to their guidance I was able to pick thing up quickly, forget my nerves and enjoy the under water sights in just a few dives! Strongly recommend to any beginners looking for their first open water diving experience.

Being first timers, me and my group of friends were a little nervous and not sure what to expect initially. However during our confined pool session, our instructor Lukas and divemaster Mark did a great job in giving us a good introduction to diving and helped us feel more confident about what we were going to attempt. During our open water dives, our instructor Daniel was very professional and assuring and this made us feel composed despite being out in the open waters for the first time. Lastly, I would like to give a shoutout to our divemaster Yong Da, who very patiently guided and assisted me when I had problems equalizing during one of our dives. If not for his patience and help, I wouldn't have been able to join my friends at the bottom eventually. TL;DR? A huge thank you to this awesome group of instructors/divemasters/divers for the memories, fun and laughters! It was an amazing first dive experience for us and we're already looking forward to our next dive trip with The Dive Ship :)

Great location, great food, great friends and an awesome time. Had a fun diving time in Tioman with Lishi and Mark. Tioman has beautiful beaches with clear water. The beaches are clean and free from litter. The location we stayed in was clean and comfortable. The food there was delicious and the locals were friendly and helpful. Every dive was unique. They make every dive unforgettable, showing us the different unique fishes underwater. The underwater world was full of wildlife. We even had a chance to swim with the turtles. This trip has lots of laughter and lots of fun. Looking forward to more diving trips and advanced open water with them!

Went to tioman to do the rescue course with instructors Charles and jiahao and had a really ezez breezy time, everything was well taken care of and the 2d1n programme flowed smoothly too. Friendly, professional, and efficient service. Jason went to a lot of effort to make sure I could dive at Pulau Hantu. When he couldn't get a guide for me, he instead found a group I could go out with and organised a buddy for me. He was in constant contact in the days before the trip, and the day of, to make sure I was happy and had everything I needed. Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to dive in Singapore.
