Beautiful and charming place. Kind of reminded me of this Tokyo indie store, Vanguard. Packed with books, crafts, housewares & accessories, and one lazy cat whose is probably responsible for the store's name.

Interesting place with lots of creative items. Price is good, not too pricy. The little kitty is very cute and calm. Love the decorations and the scent.

If you need souvenirs, this place is recommendable for some peranakan patterns in bamboo plates(arounds$10), post cards, apron and so on.

A gem tucked in Joo Chiat Road. Its name might imply that it is just about cats, but it is actually more than that. It is a small shop that celebrates Singapore and being Singaporean! They have a lot of mechandise about Singapore contemporary culture, including Singlish. Must visit!

Contrary to the review below, it was good that employees didn't say hello. It made me feel comfortable to look around. If they walked around and talked to me, I could have left buying nothing, but it was able to choose what I wanted in a easy mood. They had a lot of unique and authentic Singaporean goods

My go-to place for gifts, and everything cat! I adore Cat Socrates! I buy for myself and gifts for friends...I love the range I can choose and select from. I have bought anything and everything - from whiskey glasses, to gin bottles, jigsaw puzzles, quirky accessories and jewellery, serve-ware, books, lights, planters and a lot more! Highly recommend!

A delightful curiosity shop with cute paraphernalia and a contemporary outlook on modern life , creating a fun perspective. For example, the satirical Ladybird books under the titles 'the wife's and 'the husband' written in the 'Peter and Jane classic format. Their cat Zoo Zoo is also a wonderful ambassador.

Really enjoyed the selections in this store, particularly lots of Singaporean stuff! Wanted to take a few photos just to share on local guides but the shop owner was a little curt when she told me ‘no photos of products please’. Totally happy to accept that, just felt that it could have been delivered a little better / nicer towards a customer. We ended up buying a jigsaw puzzle - and will definitely return if we’re in the area, but just hoping for better customer service next time.

A lot of funny and hispter small stuff like postcard, coasters, picnic towel and so on. Worth exploring. However, cashier staff's attitude is quite arrogant.

Always a delight to come in for a breather as my office is nearby. Good thing is they sell some cat stuff too. Definitely worth the visit and you'll find zoo zoo the cat greeting you by the doorstep.

Chanced upon this interesting shop, thanks to the wandering resident cat! Had a lovely tie browsing through the shop and left with an interesting book and a deck of game cards! Will def revisit this plc when my hse is ready to purchase even more Knick knacks!

Japanese people often visit! There are fewer tourist spots in Katong than I expected, so cute souvenir shops like these are valuable.
