Top notch service from Adel, providing timely updates via WhatsApp with videos and photos of the gearbox overhaul progress. Timeline was met and all the symptoms of my car solved. There’s also transparency in pricing and good guidance by Adel for the repairs, what needs and need not be done. 👍
C. T.There are great automotive mechanics, and there are automotive transmission specialists. And then, there are automotive transmission specialists for specific Continental, Japanese, and Korean makes and models who have the deep expertise, and proprietary tools of their very niché trade. Where possible, always choose a specialist. Lesson learnt... Don't end up paying for a repair... twice. Or worse, having to also pay Jackson Powertrain to first resolve the initial botched-up "repairs" by lesser mechanics who claim to know how.
Kudos to Adel, and Ah Wang who saw to the worn-out torque converter and automatic gearbox of my 13-year-old car. Trained transmission specialists, in-house machine shop, and the use of genuine OE/OEM rebuild kits/parts that ensures the rebuild/repair job makes the transmission as good as new. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Thank you. #ZF

The customer service and transparency by Magen really won me over till I decided to send my own car for servicing and "health" check. Very experienced and knowledgeable. He even used a stethoscope to identify issues. Truly a car doctor!
K. E.A shout out to Adel and the expert team at Jackson Powertrain for fixing my ZF transmission. My transmission was diagnosed by the dealer with an oil-coolant contamination and recommended a replacement of the entire gearbox assembly. While they offered a sizeable discount, it was still expensive relative to the value of the car.
I had looked up Jackson Powertrain some years ago and decided to contact them this time. Adel was quick to respond and we transferred my car over to JP fuss-free.
Early in the process he was transparent about the repairs and costs as well as highlighting potential additional works that might have to be done which can only be confirmed after deeper investigations. Throughout the process, Adel kept me updated about their findings with pictures and answering my many queries patiently. He even gave me a tour of their facilities and equipment.
Adel and team were professional about the repair and they did not make unrealistic promises. They continued with after-repair advice and scheduled a follow-up check after the break-in period for the new parts.
Kudos to team for their professionalism!

S. K.Very glad to find this workshop. Previous workshop ask me change gearbox, so I brought my car to Jackson Powertrain for second opinion. Friendly staff Adel accurately diagnosed my car's problem and told me could be ignition coil problem instead of gearbox. Fixed my car in a day. Honest staff & workshop saved me thousands of dollars. Adel took videos to update me and even test drove my car to confirm that the problem has been fixed.
Went to 2 other workshops before discovering Jackson Powertrain. Previous 2 workshops could not diagnose why my rpm jumps and made me change unnecessary parts and made me waste $1000+ dollars. Next ask me to change gearbox. Checked my dashcam and they did not even bother to test drive my car to diagnose problem.
A. Y.Went to look for Adel to try to solve a clunking sound coming from my undercarriage which has been bothering me for months.
Mech Mugan attended to me and was patient in finding out the source of the sound. After he narrowed down the possibilities, he then jacked up my car and worked on it.
After my car came down from the hoist, the sound was gone!
Thank you Adel and team for a job well done and done quick. Efficient, friendly, and most importantly trustworthy.
