Reviews of Grantral Mall/Grantral Complex@Macpherson
This is a vibrant place with lots of human traffics since the inception of long distance bus to Malaysia last year. There are great choices of food at the ground floor and a huge SCARLET Chinese supermart at level 2.
The estate management has also brings in lots of enrichment schools spreading across the 2 levels of building.
As it is a repurposed building the car park is relatively run down compares to the other malls opposite the road.
A good place to go for food. But mostly Chinese fare - think hotpot, beef noodle, sichuan, putien, hunan cuisine etc. Carparking is very limited and the top uncovered area for parking looks very run down with paint flaking. Other than that, it houses a large Scarlett branch which even sells hot snacks. I generally like the place but am surprised at how crowded it has suddenly become.
Came here for KRMERCH shop, best to come via MRT here. Has Huge Scarlett supermarket that Sells cooked food, miniso collab items, n non-food items. More variety than chinatown scarlett.
Parking layout is not commercial design layout, but industrial. Walking pathway from parking to retail is confusing to first timer shoppers. Best to find cargo lift/lift to get from L3 to L1. Going via escalators might be hassle due to inconvenient corridor layout of L2 and L3.
Never been here before but to my surprised , it’s a very nice mall w many food option and many VIP bus company is here .. you can get your VIP bus ticket from Singapore to KUL / PEN here , just next to Tai Seng MRT , use the exit B , just turn right , you will enter the mall area , very convenient ( even the address is at Macpherson , please don’t go to Macpherson MRT )
The food court there is nice, got my all time favourite Bai nian Yong tau foo and many more food. Some more 7-10pm have live band
The car park is convenient and spans across 4 levels, lots of lots for parking lots. The main attraction is the variety of restaurants, mainly consisting of Chinese food from different parts of china. There is a large scarlet supermarket at the second floor, which is a bit special due to the hot food section. You can find buns and braised meat for a quick takeaway, the price is very affordable. There are also many playgrounds for children to have fun while the adults can rest. The building is air conditioning
Level 4 carpark - unsheltered
Mall with lots of food such as Burger King, Thai Food, Bak Kut Teh, etc. There is even a food court inside with a variety of food.
One downside of the place is the bad internet connection. Lots of people face low to no signal inside the mall (especially at the food court) causing disruption in online payment.
Head to L5 Bak Ku Teh,..its newly opened just 2 weeks ago . They serve Malaysian recipe BKT and their soup is herbal . Staff are very helpful and friendly..
The carpark lot is limited and a bit difficult to navigate to the mall from the carpark.
I guess serving the needs of nearby factories & office workers, this location is OK but to go there is really out of the way for many.
Thankfully the highway entrance to KPE is right there.
Major tenants are Chinese supermart.
Carpark is spacious though.
We came here because of a old Chinese restaurant being relocated here - the Oasis Taiwan porridge.
Lots of fnb choices and saw some tuition centre for children, environment is average but parking space is insufficient. Many illegal cars parking.
Got to visit this place every weekend as it is close to pur church. I always eat lunch here. Many food choices. It has a painting exhibit store, value dollar, kpop merch store, travel agency,2nd floor grocery store.
Ok got Chinese super market brand called “思家客”at level 2 n level 1 all F&B outlets plus food court.
It's an old warehouse build converted into a mall. Nothing much here except for foodcourt, hotpot, Korean food n bk. Your usual fare of things u can find in any mall. With exception you can buy bus tickets to Malaysia here and scarlets supermarket
Apparently the Super Nice bus office is here. You can check in and wait for your bus here. The bus will wait at loading bay area. Quite comfortable but so hard to find halal food here. Had to cross the street and went to the other building.
Around 5 min walk from Tai Seng MRT station
Lots of eating places and great to hangout
Most eatery are Chinese food. Some of the restaurants facing macpherson road opens only in the evening, car parking might be a problem
Overall a better place and location compare to the one at the plaza.
But can you all provide a small water bottle for your customer consumption, other travel agency is giving .
Great food. Reasonable price.
Currently there is nothing there except those food stalls which are 1 inside and the restaurant is outside.. but if you love to go Scrarlett is great to go there because there is a much bigger store and the variety is much more.
Awesome place for good food n drinks!! Chinese songs mostly!!
1st visit, big food court with Aircon.. not fully occupied though but got value shop, china supermarket, few restaurants cum bars, quite vibrant in evening..
Nice place a lot of choices to dine in 😋😋
Grand floor is fine mainly for dine but other floors are ghosty...
Great selection on divest F&B outlets and other relevant activities of interest eg. Medical & TCM outlets.
Nothing much to see & shop as it is still a very new mall. Furthermore it is located in the industrial area, doubt it will attract crowds on weekend.
Great place to dine and shop at Scarlett! 😅🤙🤙
There is inly 1 muslim stall here. No other stall to eat from
I'm not very impressed. I'm glad they have a good vegetarian outlet.
Buzzing new age mall. Lots and lots of food outlets with a variety of cuisines
Best for only taking bus to Malaysian
Many interesting eateries
Mostly food shops and Scarlett Supermarket in the mall. Not much to shop there.
Hidden near tai seng mrt. Nice food court and supermarket
Nothing much to offer as a mall.
A lots of restaurant, but very less retail shop....
This place is getting popular with more eatery outlet
New place in tai seng..with many interesting shops
new and lots of foods to pamper
Ok
Even though it is Friday day, there are a lot of people.
There are many restaurants
There are a lot of people.
Using the restroom is also convenient.
Luxurious and smooth, no complaints at all. Dedicated service, most importantly, great food, 5 stars are well deserved.
Location to take the bus if you want to go to Malaysia.
You simply call this mall a food mall. The first floor is occupied ninety percent by food outlets. The second floor is occupied by the gym, child care, and one big Scalet supermarket. Third floor mainly turion center.
Nice restaurants and Chinese super market. Sometimes hard to find parking.
Lots of food stalls but if you think of shopping, then this is not the mall you should visit.
