Reviews of Lucky Plaza
location where you can finde many flea/thrift market inside, indonesian food also exist here (ayam geprek and mama ria)
This is a very old plaza located at the famous orchard Road. Lift was old, slow and small. Probably now only ground floor were crowded with new food concept but no dine in there. Not really convenient for wheel chair users.
Lucky Plaza is always crowded place you can see everywhere people working here on their even you don't have a place to work mostly especially for Saturdays and Sundays if you want to go you can avoid Sundays bubbly holidays mostly crowded than other than this this place is very nice and mostly you can stop all the items there very cheap and low compared to other places in Singapore
Haven't been here for decades. Had to crossover from swanky Takashimaya in search of a watch battery change and a bracelet adjustment for a gifted CASIO. Taka gave me the runaround. The first shop here did both tasks in minutes. And done by two lovely (young) ladies no less.
Took the opportunity to explore all seven floors of this venerable shopping complex. They REALLY got everything. Variety abounds for decidedly Asian food for shoestring budgets.
Saturday afternoon crowd gives off a carnival feel. No longer a tourist trap. The place sure deserves its reputation today as the go-to destination for no-frills and no-nonsense retail experience.
Just one thing though: the taxi stand is not where you want to be. A bus lane and bumper-to-bumper traffic added to the misery. The queuing was chaotic. Presence of a "traffic warden" would be good.
Finally. When booking a cab, the location is AO1. Not Lucky Apartments.
Lucky Plaza, located in Orchard, is a place where you can find most Filipino stores and salon. It's where OFWs gather and buy stuff. It has also a lot of souvenir shops and food court of different cuisines. Mostly busy and crowded during Sundays.
Come here for all your SG souvenir needs. They got a few Filipino markets as well. Prices are pretty good considering it’s the Orchard area.
This place in orchard rd singapore is in city.mostly buzy in sunday cause lucky plaza is the place where all ofw or kababayan remit money during their of day and some business in this mall.but if weekdays not buzy.
Good place, one of the most cheaper options than other malls in orchard as it has economy prices. Recommended to go here if you’re looking for affordable things to buy.
Shopping Paradise!!
Super huge variety of shopping stuffs available here!!
From clothings to cosmetics to branded & luxurious items.
Expect crowds during peak hours & weekends!
Must go if you're in Town!!
I really love the lucky plaza because very big you should thy Jollibee is it yummy & the French fries is so crispy so ya you should try don’t worry is it halal in Jollibee sooo you should try ok I love McDonald’s and Jollibee but this luck plaza don’t have McDonald’s is it ok because is it big luck plaza ever so that why when I was small kid I go lucky plaza so ya 🩷🍟🍝🍗
A place where Filipino are meeting, place to send remitance, exchange currency, filipino goods and pasalubong.
You Need a whole day at least to explore this nest of market stalls n street lanes. Has some interesting sights and goods. Jewellery gems clothes nick naks. Other side of the road is another world.
The strategic Place, at Orchard rd.
We live in the lucky plaza apartment. Its so easy to take many public transportation.
Lots of individual store. All kinds of store ranges from clothing to daily product. A lot of money charger here and lots of people visiting this mall too. Have several bargain store
We ate at the Lucky Plaza food court on Orchard Road
The food court is located on the 1st floor of Lucky Plaza and in a very corner
Roasted Chicken Rice not very tasty
Kway Chap Pork not bad
TEMU IRL…Old style shopping centre. Super crowded on a Sunday. Lots of souvenirs and mini marts. Food court not great.
Lucky plaza is where the place that many Filipino will do shopping. It's very crowded during weekends but no worries coz many ambassadors will go there to check. It is the place where you can find all the Filipino delicacies, cheap clothing or we called it ukay2x. And Everytime I go there, I always feel that I am in my hometown.
If you want to taste the different delicacies of Filipinos, it's here!
From clothes to food.
Beer at filipina bar in 6th floor taste good...
Popular area in Singapore... especially Orchard Road
Good place to visit and shopping budget price
At least visit once while you are in Singapore.
Beware. Sundays are busy.
Most crowded on Sundays as overseas workers from different race gathered in this place. This is their favorite place to hang around. There are lots of Filipino stores which you can buy good stuffs too. Cheap but good quality rtw can be found here. Souvenir items are abundant here. Prices may vary according to the product but if you want discounted items buy by bulk its better. Restaurants are available. There are fastfood chains too.. Basically a shop and dine at low cost. Just go on weekdays to avoid foot traffic.
Affordable souvenirs, one stop for almost everything 👌🏾
I suggest that don't visit this place during Sundays. . People are everywhere. It's a little bit chaotic. 😥 But please do visit this place except Sundays ofcourse. Chocolates are so cheap in here.
This place is a big integrated place. Contains gold shop. Perfume and clothes and hair salon and massage shop. But very a few of people if you come by weekend.
With lot of expectations . We went to lucky plaza , Most of the shops thrift stores. If you want cheapest shopping this place is recommended
Very busy on this day. Lots of different small stores
Some very nice Filipina come here.
It was okay since I’m a Filipino working here in Singapore ,and whenever I’m craving Filipino food I can just go and eat here.
I had not been to Lucky Plaza for a few years already. After renovation the number of shops have been increased, and well organized. As the whole the shopping mall looks clean and tidy
Buzzing mall with several good affordable Indonesian resto and Filipino marts. You can get dhl Express before 4pm for next day to Manila. Great hardware store run by Mr Philip, and roasted pig "lechon" at the basement food court.
Refreshing common man mall amongst Orchard Road luxury
Good place to hangout in Singapore especially at night. Both normal and expensive items are available there. Lots of foods 🥘 are there.
don’t go here on the weekends bc of the crowd. many cheap and affordable items for students. beware of some caifan uncle because im almost got scammed buying caifan near value dollar
Lucky Plaza, a microcosm of the Philippines in Singapore. If you're feeling homesick, there's a huge Jollibee in here. There's also a carenderia style cafeteria just between the Cafe and clothing shop called Cabalen. The taste is as close to home as you can get.
Went there with my helper to buy jacket. She managed to get one n was very happy. Her 2 previous jackets had been gifted to her daughter back home in Malang. What a lovely Mom she is.💕💕😃
Many Indonesian and other food option while in orchard if you want a change from very similar food court offerings.
Best place to shop! And a great place to grab some heavy meals. Now it has jolibee store at the food court basement level.
try to avoid going on Sunday.. extremely crowded
Food and perfumes and what you come here for
Probably the cheapest place in Singapore, you won't find brands and luxury products here but all sorts of cheap clothes, accessories and souvenirs.
Good shopping mall for Filipinos food and stuff as many of those stores are operated by Filipinos. You can find many things there at reasonable prices.
Was interesting, worth a look, if your one of the 'look like a 2 year-old has drawn all over me with tattoos' crowd there are lots of those shops
this place is a kind of famous shopping center in the orchard area, at the top there are apartments that are mostly rented by Indonesian people. here are many shops selling souvenirs, salons, money changers, jewelry shops, Lucky Chicken Rice, Pak Ndut Fried Duck, and also McCafe, asian food mall, and other tenants. every Sunday here is crowded with workers from the Philippines who spend their time off on Sundays.
if at night we are hungry then we can buy food at the 7-eleven which is located at the bottom area of Lucky Plaza. In front of Lucky Plaza there is a taxi stand that is ready to take us anywhere. Around here there are famous shopping centers such as Takashimaya, Ngee Ann City, ION Orchard, and others. The wide pedestrian area makes us comfortable walking around this orchard.
Full of Filipinos shops, many smaller shops. Some of the shops sell souvenirs, some shops selling girls cloths, shoes cheaper. You can go around checking around and you may find somethings amused and probably cheaper. There snack/eateries at this mall.
sunday hell so busy
Too good to visit this Mall city..
Prefer coming here during week days. Cheap toiletries.
An old plaza but with interesting stores inside. You have to go there with expectations of local small shops in mind. Then all is ok. No big brands or luxury stores other than Rolex - Watch Palace. Has a very wide range of different stores selling stuff or providing services e.g. massages, hair salons, FX. Worth a visit just to experience.
Spend half of your hard earned money shopping here for some good items.
at orchard road this mall has both brand and non branded stores. good for shopping souvenirs and gift items, tops and pants are very cheap here. food items are also available.
There are so many floors to this shopping mall. Lucky plaza seems to be a more economical shopping option situated on Orchard Road. You can purchase souvenir, gift ware, cheaper clothing, shoes and accessories. We had a mooch around here looking in the little stores, which was fun. Bought some souvenirs. There is a food court on the lower floor. An older styled building.
This place has lots of money changers and a place to get cheap carriers (luggage, duffel bags) and boxes for shipping. It has a different vibe from other malls in Orchard, a small enclave for the Filipino community as it seems. But nonetheless, still a good place if you want to buy anything cheap and in bulk.
Fridays are still bearable but do not attempt for your life to even enter this premises during the weekend. It is literally jam packed with people all squished like sardines.
Recommended on weekday afternoons and before lunch where you can freely look up shops. Beware of over priced items being sold. Best to always have other options besides the shops in this place.
An okok mall. Caters mostly for Philipinos. However, can also get cheap phone accessories. Food is also okok. Not much varieties...
Very good
Went there for the ups drop ship. But walk around and discover some interesting shops. Worthy for some cheap buys if you spend enough time. No comments for handphone shops as I did not engage them.
Cheap stuff for souvernirs, recommended for traveller
Popular with foreigners. Lots of shops selling Asian goods & imitation stuff as well. Also a lot of good F&B outlets specialising in Indonesian, Thai, Vietnamese & Filipino cuisine. Crowded during lunch & weekends.
This is a good one of my favorites this have many shop and market. i buy Many products here many discount
Shopping center right in the Central area, affordable prices, there are many discount programs on weekends. In the center there is a Food Court area, the quality is quite good. On the 30th floor, there are rooms for rent at reasonable prices
September 2024
For shampoo, I went to Beauty & Bath on B1, and for souvenirs, I went to Cho's store on the 3rd floor, and there were a lot of other cheap things like sandals. Recommended if you want to buy various things. There is also a convenience store and 7-Eleven.
2019
It was lively and full of people, but there were so many shops that it was hard to know where to go.
I found a store on the 2nd floor called Japanese Ho Souvenirs and Gifts that had a wide variety of small items for 10 S$ each for 5 or 3 items. If you're going to Orchard, it's pretty cheap if you look around, so definitely give it a try. There are also quite a few exchange places, so if you're low on cash, you might want to exchange money while you're at it.
In Jakarta, this is in the same class as ITC, among the elite shopping malls on Orcahrd Road, this mall is especially for the lower class, especially for Filipinos because there are lots of Filipino-style stalls.
The shopping center itself is budget and looks more like a flea market, but it is worth coming here for currency exchange. There are many exchangers, the best rate is in Singapore, it is better to change at the first one or in the very middle of the shopping center. Otherwise, there is nothing special to do there.
There are a lot of interesting shops. Rather than buying something, it's more like seeing a certain side of Singapore.
There are many Filipino shops selling beauty, tourist, and sweets at low prices.
Lunch here is delicious and cheap, eat nasi lemak with complete malacca dishes for 6 dollars
This shopping center is much less luxurious than Ion but you can find interesting things there. Lots of hair salons, nail salons, eyebrow salons, massage salons, drugstores, cosmetics, clothing, telephones, second-hand luxury products but also counterfeits.
Many variants are provided, from socks to gold
Mayan has a lot of things
