Reviews of West Coast Plaza
*Updated 28/2/24
Side entrance is finally open again today 😄
The side entrance "under maintainence" for quite longgggg time already. No idea why that it would take so long and not fixed yet ? The mall's shoppers consist mostly of people staying at the nearby hdb, and it was convenient that we can just come into the mall via your side entrance, especially to cold storage. Don't see a need that when we just wanna buy some stuff and go home, but yet we need to walk one big round back from the main entrance.
Well I like this mall. Rather quiet and peaceful to work at. However, their toilet cleaning schedule sucks to the max! Why on earth they are cleaning many toilets at the same time. It causes inconvenience and unnecessary stress especially when you are working and it causes inconvenience when you have a very short period of time to run to the toilet!!!!
Love this mall. Small and handy! From Cold Storage to puma outlet to Starbucks and Japanese fish Market to local Kopi joints like toastbox ! Cool mall to hang out. Ain’t too crowded Cus it ain’t connected to the MRT! And yes before I forget, they have Shi Li Fang !
Nearly typical neighborhood mall. Mainly dominated by food establishments, and the supermarket Cold Storage. Has the essentials such as a Popular Book shop and Watson's. It serves the local community fairly well, complementing the town center area just accross the road.
What's unique is the number of outlet shops- there's a Nike and New Balance Outlet offering plenty of good steals. There's also a Sakuraya Fish Market, that serves high quality Japanese food at good prices. They also have a small Japanese supermarket.
On the top floor, West Coz Cafe is popular, as well as the Shi Like Fang Taiwanese Hot Pot. West Coz Cafe is sort of like an indoor, air-conditioned Zhi Char.a The Hot pot offers good value weekday lunch sets, and great service with well trained staff.
Lots of shops to visit and a great selection of restaurants.
This mall is growing on me. Mostly enrichment tenants but they have a seating area for caregivers to wait. It’s also quiet enough if you have a baby you want have its nap while waiting.
Quiet mall with various f&b like toastbox and fun toast.
Good place for shopping mostly Beaty related shops and kids schools , foodies, some other branded shops, sports shoes
Delicious food, quick serve & reasonable price
Quite and less crowded place. You can have coffee shops & restaurant or just chill hang around and relax.
West Coast Plaza - A Charming Retail and Lifestyle Hub in the West of Singapore
Nestled in the heart of the West Coast community, West Coast Plaza offers a delightful mix of retail, dining, and lifestyle options. This charming shopping center caters to the needs of residents and visitors with its diverse range of stores and services. From fashion and beauty to electronics and home essentials, shoppers can find a variety of well-known brands and local boutiques. The plaza also features an inviting food court and a selection of restaurants, serving up delectable dishes from different cuisines. With its friendly atmosphere and convenient location, West Coast Plaza is a go-to destination for a rewarding shopping and dining experience in the West of Singapore.
Local mall that serves the needs of local. Some interesting selections for the Japanese community around too. Nothing to shout about but good enough if you stay nearby.
There isn't really too much here (it is a heartland mall), but there are quite a number of restaurants which is good. Mall is pretty spacious and quiet which is nice.
Parking space is aplenty (except during lunchtime on weekdays, does get a bit full as there are lots of offices nearby). There's also the option to park at the HDB carpark beside (which is huge and cheaper) so that is always good (as long not raining).
nice cosy plc to chill out and relax.. it’s not a fancy shopping mall but you can get your needy goods and stuff there.
Not much shopping options compared to other malls.. Few restaurants, kids play areas. There is a big Cold storage.
A very underrated mall! Maybe because i’m someone who does not stay in the West, I love how this mall is so quiet and peaceful, although it’s sad for the businesses, but the vibes there is just so good!
Had coffee at Gloria Jean’s, had a regular cappuccino and it was great! love the atmosphere, the music, the seatings, as well as it has power plugs at some seats! Amazing service from the staff too!
Then I had dinner at West Co’z Cafe! It was a simple Zi Char (Chinese) Restaurant, family friendly, was there in a group of 5 around 8pm, had many seatings available! Love the beef kway teow, it was simple and the staff was polite too!
Sadly didn’t take much photo but trust me, if you are there, check out what I have stated above! Don’t go with high expectations, because I went without and I had the best experience!
So many new shops! Visited for the first time and saw Daiso, 24hr cafe. Would definitely visit again to chill there.
Super chilled mall with an awesome café. Vibe Sundays
Shops come and go here over the years - but more so post-covid. Even little Caesars the eat-and-run pizzeria is gone. So sad. They were a bunch of people who tried very hard to keep going against the big boys.
So another bites the dust
Nice little mall. It has super market, bakery , toastbox, cheers etc.
It is a pity that they stopped the free shuttle bus service.
The bus uncle (Chinese uncle) is very kind and willing to wait for you to board the bus if he see u nearby.
not so much to be able to shop as the choices are limited here. food options limited too.
most are enrichment classes and visitor here are very specific of what they wanted to achieve here. not a place where people come here to explore and hangout.
overall ok. not much things to do here.
A hidden shopping mall in the heart of West Coast. Got most of the things you need and a few nice F&B outlets. Ample parking and not congested. Will be good if there are a few more interesting shops there.
Good place to visit for people living in the area but nothing special.
There is cold storage and quite a selection of eateries and food court on the top level. Not much for retail shopping but more for food. Too bad- a small plaza by itself that makes it difficult to attract crowds. A quiet ambient that is recommended for week day outing.
A handy and well-placed shopping mall away from City centers
Not many dining options here but there is a hawker centre and many coffeeshops at the HDB blocks. Nevertheless the air con is the mall and visiting the shops esp cold storage with wide aisles and low footfall is enjoyable.
Been to this place the last few days. Like the fact that there are many Japan store selling food. A bit deserted and not like a shopping mall when visited. But the place is well managed with bright lights and cold aircon, but there are vacant units in this mall.
Samo-samo. Avoid the kaya toast place at all cost. Lousy service and they keep upping their prices like nobody's business.
I would definitely review the plaza highly. It is definitely very accessible, and is also close to the wet market. You can find all the amenities you need here!
A family friendly mall. With a wide variety of restaurants, clothing and groceries stores and even a ballerina studio for children. The ambiance is very relaxing and it's a great place to spend some free time. Must visit if you're in the area!
Good place for outlet shopping. Starbucks is large and has a nice ambience. Mall itself is quiet and sleepy and does not offer as much as the other mega malls.
It is not a very crowded mall - so you could do your shopping leisurely. There are two stalls at the eatery that are worth patronising - roast duck noodle and the steam fish/ egg rice set.
Update 29 October 2022: Social distancing measures are off. No need trace together. No need to wear mask inside the mall.
Update 10 December 2021: Still a nice and quiet mall.
Nice and quiet mall.
one of the quiet shopping centre. If u wanna go to a peaceful shopping centre this is it. But it is rather small don't expect too much. It is a nice place to chill. You can come here every 6 months as shop changes pretty frequently.
Perhaps it is the locality and inaccessibiity that this mall exhibits a laid back and uninteresting tenant mix that is very forgotten. Apart for the residents from the nearby blocks of flats visiting it for tuition services and the occasional dining, there really isn't much buzz we could expect and shout about this mall.
Great many shops offering good food at affordable prices. Known for Japanese food, supermarkets, sports shops, facial spas and foreign products. Previously called Ginza Plaza before a gas explosion during final construction was made own.
Been getting better since awhile back. Renovation here and there. Sufficient parking even for lunch hours. But would be better to go earlier to get a better parking. There a supermarket, many restaurants and a hawker centre located just opposite the plaza. Connected by a bridge so you won't get wet even if it's raining.
The place had a face lift and tenants move about every year. It has ATMs, Cold Storage, a bakery, restaurants, and amenities. A standard mall that can fulfill your requirements. No banks in the building though.
Located at West Coast, it is not as convenient to visit as compared to other malls. However, it is also a blessing in disguise as it is not as packed. There are many schools for kids such as ballet, dance, take, art classes, etc. Many adults will visit the coffee joints here while waiting for their kids. Existing coffees outlet are Starbucks, Toast box, Jalan Kayu Prata and a food court at top level and they are well occupied with little seats left on a lazy weekend afternoon. Gloria Jean coffee is in construction and should be opening soon. There are also a number of restaurant outlet featuring Japanese, Thai, local Zichar, and of course many choices at the food court. For Grocery, there is Cold Storage as well as a Korean Mart. Puma and New balance outlets are stationed here as well but the price is still not attractive to me.
Missing the yummy & coffee food at Toastbox, now closed for renovation. In the meantime, it's sad to realise there's no other comparative quality food & beverage outlet. So had to adjourn elsewhere nearby.
Update - Oh, it's been opened again a few weeks ago. Was back a week ago for my next favourite Mee Rebus because Nasi Lemak has been discontinued. Yummy, especially with the cut green chilli. Keep going!
A small heartland mall with basic amenities like restaurants and supermarket. Some may find other stores like the Xerox printing shop or Chen Kang massage parlour helpful. There's also a Nike factory store at level 1.
Disappointed that popular bookshop and guardian are no longer there.
However, there's cold storage, mmms and fish markets there should you need to stock up on frozen or fresh foods.
Spa and foot reflexology available on top floor.
My chiropractor is at this location, Rapha Chiropractic. So i come weekly. It is a small mall, and not a lot of selection.
For food, favorite is The Water Bath Chef, healthy and delicious. This is located just outside the main entrance, by the lift.
Though not the most modern shopping mall but this place offers a lot of variety of store types; foods, sports, extra schools, haircut, Cold Storage, Starbuck, Japan Home, bakery, roti, outlets, all in one place
Awesome dining and shopping place. Japanese food lovers will like this. Also there's New Balance & Nike factory outlets for those who like these brands.
Decent options for shopping. Plenty of massage and child enrichment stores. Parking is easy but no MRT nearby. The Nike store is always good to pickup a bargain.
Suburban Mall targeted at the residents nearby. It's not a big mall by any standards, but will suffice for daily needs. A range of eateries are available and did not encounter an issue with parking.
An amazing selection of cheese and all things desired for a great antipasto platter. They also have wine and beer to make the party fun.The staff are knowledgeable and helpful.
A nice and warm neighbourhood shopping mall with lots of eatery
One of the most quietest mall for meals and grocery shopping. Various restuarants from Japanese to local to Chinese to Western to Thai to Coffee. Likes to come here for coffee in tbe afternoon. There is a sport shop too
2 factory outlets (Nike/New Balance), a rather okay sized Cold Storage, and a few of each 'essential' mall ammenties make the 3 storeys an okay place to just check out. Location-wise it is not near any stations, easiest way is to take a bus from Clementi station.
Ok for a neighbourhood aircon mall with not so good retail experience but more foods choices like good curry fish head by West Co'z cafe at level 2. The anchor tenant is Cold Storage n u can also find Toast Box. Linking Bridge to the opposite market n committee centre.
Not a large shopping mall in the Clementi West neighbourhood but with a variety of retail outlets including many reasonably priced eateries. My favourite supermarket, Cold Storage, is located at the basement.
I like the spacious of the mall. It is not so crowded like those malls near MRT, making this place a lovely place to have a relaxing meal with friends.
Years ago, Ginza Plaza was renovated to be the now WCP. Of the many Far East Developments, this has 1 of the more spacious & better layout! Mostly patronised by families for its tuition centre, ballet school, eateries & Cold Storage, this is a good mall for the west. A bank would be great but there are a few ATMs at least.
I like Deiso, HK eatery, Cold Stoage, sports shop. Many tuition centers and massage salon to serve ppl. Prata house and Japanese food are served here.
A nice place to spend time once a while and eat some good food. But not many store. Actually small compared to most malls in Singapore.
It's been one of the highlights if you live west of the city, but mostly superseded by Clementi Mall around the corner. The standout store here for me is the Nike Factory Outlet.
This is a small shopping center in the neighborhood. There are shuttle buses between West Coast Plaza and Clementi MRT or Science Park etc. But you better check their website first, because they often change the route.
Cozy neighbourhood mall with all the staples - supermarket, food, Starbucks. Look out for the activities on the weekends. To save on parking, use the almost adjacent HDB carpark.
It's a cozy heartland mall that has good necessities (supermarket, clinics, salons, pharmacy etc.) - and pretty good restaurant selections as well.
The food court on level 3 is a great place for a nice meal. Should try the Yong Tau Fu and the traditional desserts.
Nice cozy place with a variety of shops. Although it is not as accessible as Clementi Mall, shuttle bus service is provided from Clementi Mrt
Lots of shops closed down.. but still a nice place for some food and entertainment
Clean and great for shopping! A lot of outlets
Many range of basic need and supplies that can be found here. Food is also a variety.
Nice place to chill out. A little too high end though, for a neighbourhood mall.
Assalamualaikum good evening to the Head, Manager of the west coast of Singapore.. Hopefully this shopping center will increasingly exist and be modern in the midst of competition. The world of business is getting sharper and more global.. Big... From me, Agus Qusyairi and friends in the city of Bekasi, West Java .. Greetings and we wish West Coast continued success with service and comfort, customer satisfaction is increasingly maintained.. As far as we know, this shopping place is very comfortable.. Safe, clean and the service is very good.. Trusted.. We give a ⭐5 star rating.. Thank you.. Success for the admin too.. Greetings full of enthusiasm and a progressive and cool soul...
The supermarket downstairs has specials and is pretty good to buy. During my business trip, I visited there every day. There is also a toast workshop which is very convenient.
Large shopping center of Clementi area, clean, many convenience stores and shops, a bit far from the center.
A stroller can be inconvenient to move around. There were many small but good shops.
I like it because there are many shops but few people. The food is delicious and the durian......smaller than Thai ones.
A wide selection of products! ! The people selling the products are all very friendly, so I often find myself having lively conversations with people I've become acquainted with. The downside is that the ground is a bit dirty and the passageways are narrow. It would be perfect if this was improved...
Don't look for a prayer room or mosque in this place, I asked the waiter at the Muslim restaurant, and he didn't know 😁 so if you want to come here, pray outside first, or go out first and look for a mosque during prayer.
Although it is not very large, it is a mall similar to a local supermarket. There are quite a few restaurants and cold storage, so it's a good place to shop or eat if you're nearby. However, it is far enough to take a taxi. It feels like a neighborhood mall.
It is a relatively small shopping center, well-equipped, it has several good restaurants, a Japanese supermarket with delicious food. In stores there is everything... Clothing, electronics, home, relaxation massages, manicure. And it always has offers with convenient prices.
