G. “.The Kong Ba Pao (Pork Belly Bums with filling) is sooooo good. Got 6 of them in one packet for $5.50? So happy to know they have an outlet in bedok. Just steamed 2 for breakfast. Very tasty! Bun is fine, filling has correct portion of meat and fats.
J. X.Low prices that is comparable to the local super market. They have frozen foods that is also very competitive. They have sauces and condiments. It does get pretty crowded and the queue for checkout gets very long during peak times. No aircon inside so it’s hot. It’s located right across the community Center.
J. F.I thought I did a review. Sparrows really has value for money groceries. Their fruits (eg. Papayas) could be the lowest price in SG too even compared to Waterloo street. Their frozen mid wing is a legend though, almost impossible to get thus far 🤣
A.You can get grocery at best prices here. Some promos are so good that the stocks run out very quickly. They accept CDC voucher too.
J. L.A lovely and quaint little fruit seller with a quainter name. Sparrows 麻雀 is located deep in the heartland bowels of Bedok. Their prices are competitive and there are bargains abound to be found. You know you're striking gold when you see the droves of Ahmas and ahgongs milling about inside and also some ahgongs outside excitedly discussing their 4D numbers. Some examples of prices: dragon fruit 红肉 (red meat) at 80 cents and 3 for $2, Indonesia cabbage at $1.70 each, Beijing cabbage at $1.50 each, pearl brinjal 珍珠茄子 (pronounced as qiezi for those of you Chinese noobs) at 30 cents each and 4 for $1, and tomatoes at $2.20 per kg. They also sell cheap drinks, for example a carton of 24 cans of soya bean, original H2O, black soya or Bandung will set you back aere $10.50! That is less than 50 cents per can and rivals prices on redmart/shoppee Lazada etc. hit the like button so more people will see this and support businesses that don't overcharge customers.
S.Visiting Bedok Heart Kampung Chai Chee Community Club all the way from Bishan and saw this Sparrow Supermarket nearby. Enjoying my time here at Asian Supemarket, price attached, lots of variety and super cheap! Japanese Cucumber $1 for 5, spinach $0.50 for 1, almost vegetable at $0.50 per package. Great experience and definitely will shop regularly if living around here. I saw 1 Japanese can drink 1/2 price from the regular supermarket too. 3:6 sumthing. Seriously? This place is a gem!
R.Of course not the cleanest grocery store but all the vegetables were so cheap. Cauliflower at $2, broccoli at $1.50, snow peas at $1.20. Freezepak was $13.50 for 2 packets - great deal. 1 packet is $7.80.
b. t.Nice decent shop with alot of refrigerators. Prices reasonable n cashier friendly. Fresh produce restock well, I think evenings as just went this Sunday evening about 9+ . Will add photos next time.

R. L.One of the cheapest place to buy veggies, they often have good deals too. They also sell some seasoning, canned food, eggs, fruits, frozen cooked meat and uncooked meat/seafood. the bottled drinks and packed nuts also slightly cheaper than supermarkets. Open 24h. I just hope they sell more Malay ingredients and herbs.
