We did enjoy kundasang hotel stay had a good view of mount Kinabalu, tour guide Williamlamb bought us to visit the botanical garden, Alpaca club, cow farm which refreshing for us. My big group of 19, incl young and old members' experience with Amazing Borneo was truly amazing! We booked all our 3 days tour with the help of sales rep, Anthony Wong who was responsive, prompt with replies and follow-up. He is professional and diligent about his work, highly recommendable if you want to book your tour with Amazing Borneo. 3 days of adventure from island hopping to walks in the botanical park to farm visit and water rafting was extremely awesome. The tours incl lunch which was fantastic. Thanks to our guide, Diana who took care of us throughout the 3 days. We really enjoyed our family hoilday in Sabah.

It’s our second trip with Amazing Borneo. Last year we went to KK and the mountain and now is Sankadan and Lankayan Island Resort. During our booking, Anthony Wong recommended Lankayan resort which indeed is a paradise worth to visit. The water chalet we stayed is clean and spacious, overlooking the clear blue ocean from our balcony! It’s an unforgettable experience! Following days in Sandakan we tried the local seafood dinner which is also fresh and reasonable price. We visited the Gomentong cave (lots of cockroaches and pungent smell, better masked on) and Labuk Bay to see the Proboscis monkeys eating and playing on the feeding platform! Overall was a good experience with Amazing Borneo.

We had a lovely 5D/4NKota Kinababu Explorer tour by Amazing Borneo for our group of 6 seniors. Anthony Wong was quick to respond to my enquiries. The guide Gavin and the driver Jonanthan were excellent. Gavin was knowledgeable and Jonahthan was a careful and safe driver. We thoroughly enjoyed the Sunset Dinner Cruise. The buffet dinner had a good spread and the live band had some guests dancing to the entertaining songs. The Klias River Cruise was exciting to be able to see wildlife along the river. Our only grip was that after 2 nights of buffet dinners (Sunset Dinner Cruise and Klias River Cruise), it would have been more enjoyable to be able to order from an ala carte menu instead of another buffet dinner at Sutera Lodge at Kota Kinabalu National Park. Overall, an enjoyable tour itinerary.

We came home very happy and fulfilled after our recent 5D4N trip to Sabah! As a mom, family vacation with young children often require a great deal of research. As I didn’t manage to find much time on planning this time, I decided to go to Amazing Borneo directly. And I am so thankful that they had given all the suitable recommendations and thoughtful arrangements! We had a great stay at Shangri-La Tanjung Aru Resort & Spa, where we took family room. It is a very family friendly hotel. We ordered in-room dining which kindly took into consideration our dietary preference. The water slides were so fun and our older son (5yo) couldn’t stop playing them all! Our tour continued with a Kinabalu Park stay at Liwagu Suite. During our stopovers, we were lucky to have met with great weather which allowed us to view the magnificent Mount Kinabalu with utmost clarity. We also enjoyed our hot lattes at a cafe in the cool weather. Breakfast was lovely too. All in all, it was a great December holiday well spent with family for a long awaited getaway, yet actually not too far away from home! Amazing Borneo Tours is certainly highly recommended!

Booked a private day tour to Kundasang with Amazing Borneo T&E and was assigned to Captain Neil “Armstrong”! 😄 We literally had an amazing experience (from Pekan Nabalu, Desa Daisy Farm, Secret Garden to Sosodikon Hill) Captain Neil was super accommodative, patient with the elders and never failed to engage and share with my family on the wonders of Sabah, its people and culture. His recommendations of food/snack picks were also on point! Still dreaming of pisang emas and avocado cheese bro 😍! Our group of 7 went with Amazing Borneo to the summit on 26/7 May 2024. Booking with Amazing Borneo was easy and smooth. We had Cornelius and Alfred as our guides. They were absolutely wonderful right from the start when we realised that due to the Malaysian holidays, there were no porters available to carry our extras... and no way we could have done it ourselves! Cornelius and Alfred did not hesitate in hoisting the bags on their shoulders for the walk to base camp and Fik was great in making sure we were organised quickly to be first up the mountain for the day. Our group had different walking speeds and split naturally into groups - each guide stuck with one group which was fantastic. They encouraged us not to go too quickly to make sure we acclimatised on the way and pointed out interesting facts/creatures/plants along the way. I absolutely would not have made it on Day 2 to the summit had I not had Cornelius helping me up all of the tricky bits - and back down them too... On the way down from base camp when our knees were aching, Alfred was brilliant in getting us and our bags back to the bottom. Cornelius and Alfred - thank you so much. You made our trip! The lunch on Day 1 of rice, chicken and vegetables was good, and lunch at the restaurant at the end was the most welcome meal I've had in ages! The catering for gluten free by Amazing Borneo was good. Not so good in the lodge. My advice for coeliacs - take loads of your own snacks and carry a small loaf of gluten free bread...

Carlotte from Amazing Borneo Tours has helped us organize and book a fantasic trip to climb Mount Kinabalu for my boys, 5 and 9 and myself. Everything was smooth and asy from selecting the dates to finalizing the trip and payment. Carlotte replied to all my questions promptly and we had the best mountain trip ever. The staff on site help swiftly with the registration and hiking permits. We had two guides that knew the mountain inisde and out and we felt save all the way. Ask for Reza and Neil. They will never disappoint! I was travelling alone and there wasn’t much tour that was open for join in however thanks to Reza from Sabah Travel who managed to arrange for me a private tour. I am so thankful she took the effort to help me with the arrangement as it made my trip complete. I basically just left my whole trip in her capable hands. She was recommending me all kinds of activities at the same time understanding my limitations and age. In the end, I get to experience it all thanks to Reza. River, Hike, Beach and Paragliding. I can’t thank her enough!. I got Neil as my private guide. He is so professional and knowledgeable and entertaining. I had so much fun! Oh did I mentioned he is extremely handsome too! Also it was my first time hiking in the dark! I never felt safer cause I know I was in good hands. It was so worth it! The view from St. Veronica is beyond words. Oh Neil also took to me try this authentic Tuaran mee and he gave me a whole history of it. I love it! I strongly recommend Amazing Borneo for all your travel arrangements to Sabah. They have the best staff and they are all so attentive! With staff like Reza and Neil, they can run the whole show. Reza will arrange and Neil will tour it! Best combo ever!

Tour guide name is Tan is quite experience and explanation also good. Driver whose name Vincent, is a very smart man and his driving also steady and lastly our tour planning guide Anthony who respond very good and efficient, give him 👍👍👍 Magellan Sutera room is good and morning buffet breakfast has many varieties to choose. Luma hotel 👍👍 , ala carte breakfast is each person one set. Perkasa hotel we stay are inter-connected room for family, can consider👍 room , nice view👍 facing Mount Kinabalu from room windows. Lastly , the sunset cruise which recommend by Anthony is a MUST, enjoyed sunset with buffet dinner ! Enjoying the Kota Kinabalu trip so much with AMAZING Borneo travel agency !!!!
