5/5 recommend trainer Dexter. My dog Milo is a new beginner in agility training and Dexter is very understanding and patient with teaching Milo. He will give tips and tricks on how to improve each time. It is a fulfilling time for Milo!

I had started my Ginger with another Agility Trainer but I am so glad I met Dexter from Pups Training. Having a dedicated training area protected from the elements really made the whole program alot more effective and convenient. Further Dexter's approach of having one to one and close supervision helped Ginger accelerate her training and made it alot more fun. The other best part of the training is that you get to really bond with your dog. Both Ginger and I really enjoyed ourselves. Thanks for Dexter, Ginger has progressed very well and I am going to continue training with Pups Dog Training.

After reading the bad reviews on trainers who used harsh methods to make the dogs obey their owners, I am so glad that I chose Dexter to train my pup on basic obedience. Under his positive reinforcement methods, my pup blossomed from an excited pup that constantly picked up things from the ground to one that happily and willingly obeys instructions and walks calmly on leash. Dexter has also trained my pup at home & she is now much more manageable. Kudos to Dexter for his expertise, flexibility, patience & kindness to my pup. I will definitely recommend Dexter to anyone who wants a well adjusted trained dog instead of a fearful trained dog, which may have behavioral issues later on.

Enrolled my dog in the obedience training course. Dexter was very patient throughout the course, and even gave useful tips. My stubborn puppy is less stubborn and well trained now because she started to enjoy the lessons :-)

Dexter came recommended from a friend. I was looking to train my 6 yo dog, Bailey, who displayed great dislike (sometimes aggression) towards children and barked excessively at kids running past our house. With my sister pregnant, we were worried that she might be aggressive to the baby when she comes. Dexter was able to quickly identify the problem areas with Bailey and worked with us 1-on-1 over the course of 6 weeks. Bailey responded well to his positive reinforcement training. What I liked best was that he took the time to listen and work together with the whole family in training Bailey and even modified techniques when he needed to suit to my dog’s character. He is professional, experienced and approachable and really cares for the dog and wants to see her improve. Thank you Dexter for all your help! We have seen a great improvement in Bailey’s behaviour. And most importantly, she was successfully introduced to my newborn niece - which was our topmost concern! Will definitely recommend to anyone looking to train their dogs - even much older pups like mine!

Dexter was a phenomenal teacher. He was patient with my puppy, my helper, and myself. He gave clear directions, modelled the moves as often as needed, provided feedback that was easy to act on, and changed strategy when an approach wasn’t working for our puppy. I highly recommend him as a trainer.

Bailey came to Dexter as a 2 months old puppy as we wanted to start him right and nip certain issues early like walking well and socialising with my older dog. Dexter was very generous to share many important advice and tips and we are so pleased to see him progress well in obedience and being able to walk beside us nicely. Bailey is always excited to come for lessons and runs to greet Dexter first! We see for ourselves that Positive reinforcement works and so happy we do not need to use any e collars or choke chain to achieve our purpose. We highly recommend his class for your canine!

I enrolled my 2 golden doodle puppies to Pups Training School for private lessons under Dexter. He is a very dedicated and patient dog trainer who never fails to arrive on time for our lessons. I especially like the reward-based training as opposed to punishing the dog. Would highly recommend Dexter for puppy training!

My puppy Rio (7 months old border collie), was trained by Dexter for the past 2 months. Dexter is a very patient and experienced trainer, while making sessions enjoyable using positive reinforcement techniques. Rio loves him very much! Additionally under the guidance of Dexter, Rio is able to obey basic commands such as 'sit' and 'stay' now. Definitely had a lot of fun in the training process while bonding with my dog! Dex was a very patient and fun trainer. As Charlie (our 6 month black lab) was a very hyper active and overly friendly dog, Dex taught us how to channel her energy. What we loved were the positive reinforcement techniques that helped us bond with our dog in an effective manner without the use of force. Since training, we have seen a huge change in Charlie and have a much stronger bond with her. We highly recommend and will be back for the advanced/agility training in future.

Our family of 5 enrolled with PUPS Dog training for a private training for our 7 mth old pup Cove, a Shiba Inu. We are a 1st time dog owner and found out only after that Shiba is a challenging breed to train due to their nature of their character. Dexter has easy to follow training techniques which we is effective. He followed up closely to ensure that we keep up with daily training and even encouraged every member to ensure all 5 of us are "trained". We had a fun time and Cove is amazing, he is a fast learner. Dexter has also provided us many advice to us in other aspects(caring of the dog etc.) and we really appreciate it. Thank you so much for the positive experience for us. Highly recommend.

Dexter positive training make us very comfortable with him. He is very patient with My Golden Retriever Wolfy. Its a long journey for us as Wolfy was not able to concentrate during training at start. But Dexter never give up on us.He also send us links on other dogs relating article.

Started the basic obedience course with my 2 daughters (Chloe & Clara) and corgi pup - Coby. They really enjoy the lessons and having fun with Dexter. After completing today test, the gals are looking forward to trial the agility class and also we are looking into advanced obedience course. We were first time dog owner, and we had trouble toilet training our Rough Collie Puppy, Hayley, when she just arrived in Singapore to us. It was really tough back then trying to get her toilet trained. Hence, we seeked Dexter for help on this, and we got the 1-on-1 private obedience training for Hayley that also include her toilet training in it. After seeking Dexter for help, within 2 weeks (2 session), we manage to get Hayley toilet trained! On top of that, we managed to get Hayley learnt her basic command like Sit, Stay, Down in just a few sessions. Dexter's way of training is so effective, and Hayley learnt it very fast. We always have alot of questions that we are not sure of, and he always was very patient in teaching and answering all our questions and doubts. Having your dog being trained to become well mannered is really important as your dog will accompany you for the next 10+years, you want them to be happy and obedient, and in return yourself will be happy as you save yourself from any unnecessary troubles created by your dog. Dexter is definitely the right person to look for when getting your dog well trained!

Our dog, Mochi, is a 3.5 months old puppy when we started the Basic Private Home Obedience Training with Dexter. We have now completed the training with tremendous result! Mochi is now a potty trained and more mature puppy who knows when to calm down, when to play and follow basic commands. We enjoyed the whole training session

My puppy Toby (Matipoo, 1 year 1 month) was train by both Dexter and Debra. Initially Toby was train by another training school which was not so good as Pups Dog Training School. After the 6 lessons of 1 to 1 training by both trainers from Pups Dog School. Toby has totally change and improve alot. Now Toby can do recall, off leash without me worries of he running away. We engaged Dexter for the private basic obedience course for our now five month old shiba inu. He was extremely friendly, patient and knowledgeable. As first time dog owners, he taught us to how to take proper care of Kubo's daily needs as well as potty/basic obedience training through positive reinforcement. Had an emergency and needed someone to help me with my BC named Dash one day and he managed to attend to my request on the day itself! Very responsive and teaches beyond the basics! Always there to help out with any queries or troubles I face throughout the day. Teaches ways to train according to your dogs behaviour and always encourages only positive reinforcements! Dash has now graduated and she looks so happy doing everything we were both taught! Would definitely recommend!!

Thank you Dexter for helping us to train our two dogs, Lipton and Louie in terms of obedience, house breaking and learning to get along with each other. Dexter is very patient and helpful, I believe he will do his best to train all dogs.

Dexter and Wan Sheng are great trainers! They gave tremendous support and guidance during class. They were so passionate about teaching the skills and explained in great details each time an action is called for. Both Uno and myself enjoyed their classes every weekend. With the imparted skills Uno has transformed to obeying and listening more especially in a new environment.

enrolled my 6 yrs old girl bambi in basic agiligty class with dexter. in just 6 weeks, my girl managed to complete all the obstacles with guidance frm dexter. at the start she did not want to get up on the seesaw board at all as she was afraid of the dropping motion n the sound the board makes. but dexter was very patient with her n encouraged her. at the end of the 6 weeks she finally managed to get up on it and even walked across it! overall a very good experience with dexter😊
