Reviews of The Cat Museum & Academy
They do a good job about finding homes to cats... But the place in itself is as big as an appartment, very limited place for cats. For the name "cat museum" I would expect something much bigger with more museum activities (panels to read with curiosities, interactive areas for kid and cat statues...) and so on. There is just a flat with paintings of cats and cats.
The cats there are rescues and are ready for adoption to loving, responsible homes. Jessica, the founder of Lion City Kitties / The Cat Museum is a very compassionate and efficient lady on a mission - to save as many of these innocent, defenseless cats as possible and place them out of harm's way. The cats are lovable and are well-cared for. Hopefully, more locals will step up to the plate and give each of these deserving kitties a very good home. Work with Jessica and her GREAT TEAM of VOLUNTEERS to locate a kitty that suits your personality, your home environment and family situation. It is SAFER to raise INDOOR CATS and these indoor kitties will be healthier and kept out of harm's way. Consider adopting a rescue from the Cat Museum and he/she will love you dearly for saving his/her life. This will enable Jessica and her team of dedicated volunteers another space for another cat. Visit the 3-level Cat Museum and be entertained by the kitties. Hopefully, there is room in your heart for adoption. There are items on the walls and in the gift shop that will help keep The Cat Musuem going...and going...for a long time. Any purchase helps too. A Cat Musuem Fan from overseas.
overall experience ok.
price sgd12 per person
some cats are cute, but also fierce. got scratched by a few cats.
some places are actually stinky.
most interesting are the cats with different eyes colors. i think they are named "papa" and "mama"
A great place if you like cats as I do. There's something like a 9 S$ entry fee plus 1 $ for shoe storage, if you so choose, as shoes not allowed upstairs. Also no walking around where there are kittens, 4th floor I think.
The Great One, the big grey, reminds me of Bustopher Jones, the 25-pounder, as seen in the musical "Cats". But the G.O. seems not quite as active as B.J. A poster of BJ like the one of Sylvester might be nice.
You can also buy all kinds of cat stuff as well, probably something for everyone's taste.
Purrrrfect place if you're a cat lover but can't have one at the moment... Or considering to get one, since they are up for adoption! 9$entrance fee goes towards the kitties food. Liked it so much, I'm considering to come volunteer here.
They had adapted a few cats and they are free to walk around and you can pet them if you want.
The volunteers know each of the cat's personality but actually there is not much to see...
Great place. Run as a social enterprise focused on rescuing cats and getting them adopted. Cats are extremely friendly and you'll get to interact with kittens that are up for adoption as well.
Awesome place to go too for some soothing cat therapy. Plus you will be helping a very worthwhile social cause, namely the saving of orphan kitties🐼😁🖒.
This museum is for cat lovers, with many cat related artwork, trivia and adorable resident cats, which roam freely and are well taken care of by the volunteers there.
Great place for learning about cats and adopting one. They really care about the cats and kittens.
There are very cute and amazing cat and kittens I adopted a kitten
Perfect place for cat lover that away from home and visit singapore.
Nice cats for adoption but they don't like to be petted
Only open on Fri, Sat and Sun.
Cats are lovely!
Good place to pet a friendly cat or even adopt one.
Do support them before their last day of operation in jun
Quiet place to hang out with the kitties
Interesting for a visit?
it has cats. meow.
The environment is very cat-friendly and the service staff are very friendly. It’s just that the souvenirs are not very complete, which makes tourists less willing to buy.
