Great clinic with great staff and doctors. We’ve tried probably 3-4 clinics before we finally found and settled on VetMedic. Unlike many past clinics we’ve visited, the staff here (doctors, technicians and receptionists alike) are all really kind, patient and not at all arrogant. If you are looking for good customer service with kind and empathetic staff, this is where you can find them. My 12-year-old golden retriever was seen by Dr. Ong, who showed great professionalism and expertise. From annual vaccinations to regular checkups and specialised treatment (cancer, arthritis, allergies and conjunctivitis) Dr. Ong showed great patience in explaining my dog’s situation with lots of empathy. I also enjoyed Dr. Ong’s gradual approach to treatment as we explored the most reasonable and economical approach to treatment first, before moving onto higher degrees and more expensive treatment. The aftercare provided by Dr. Ong was really amazing. I truly did not expect to receive a follow-up text to check on my dog’s well-being. It is nice to know that my dog is well taken care of by doctors who care. Aftercare support was also easily accessible through WhatsApp to the clinic, either directly to doctors or staff. Wait times are not too bad, especially during weeknights and if you’ve had an appointment (no frustratingly long waits). Naturally, the clinic is busier on weekends, so it’s good to bear that in mind when planning your visit. All in all I’m really satisfied with the service and treatment here, and would recommend VetMedic to any Pawrent in the area. The clinic is very clean, smells nice and is impressive, with ample air-conditioned seating area inside, or a park nearby to wait if it gets crowded.

Dr Ng is a remarkable and admirable doctor I have seen. I said that because our dearest dog, Abby, visited many vets throughout the last 13 and almost 14 years. She has allergies issues at a very young age, we seek many doctors to help her with her skin. She too had cataract on both eyes before she turn 4 years old. Then she has arthritis on her hind legs, dry eyes, slow in bowel movements which sometimes causes her not to poo or eat and lastly she also has some leaks. All these required long term medication and hefty bills. As we moved further from my parents place we decided to switch a vet that is nearer to my parents place. So that it is easier to ferry Abby to the doc. Both Dr Tan and Dr Ng are very understanding, they don’t just care about their patients. They also care about their owners pocket. Sometimes we drag to two months rather than to visit them on a monthly basis for Abby arthritis jab. They allow us to buy her regular medication without having to see them every month. These has greatly lightened our load. However, what we fear most has come. Abby is gravely ill. During this period, Dr Ng personally update us on a daily basis. I was worried whether Abby is in pain. Dr Ng reassured me that pain management in his patients is always his top priority. He too explain patiently to us Abby’s situation or any questions we raised. Abby recovery is slow because of many underlying issues. The hospital bill is mounting. After 6th day, we decided to bring Abby home. It wasn’t easier. Dr Ng said we could treat her at home still and bring downs the numbers. He told us that it is more effective in his care but we could try. The most important thing that I experienced with Dr Ng is he never once told me to give up nor he shows us any judgment if we give up. The process is managed with a lot of understanding and compassion. Some of the vets will say “think about the quality of the dog life after all these, is it worth it” but Dr Ng said “ even she left 6months I will still treat her. It is my responsibility.” For this I am sure Abby is in good hands. My family and I are forever thankful to Dr Ng. We wish we had met early. Dr Ng, thank you for what you have done for us. You are really a special doctor I seen. Professional and like an angel. Thank you Dr Ng.

We first sent our dog, Poppy, to Dr Ng’s clinic in September to check on her skin allergies. As this was our first time encountering such issues, Dr Ng explained to us the different types of allergic reactions and suggested a treatment plan that best suit our household. After just 1 visit, Poppy got much better and her paws are no longer inflamed. Today, we sent Poppy in for her spay surgery. We felt very reassured as Dr Ng took time to explain the procedure in layman terms and addressed all of our concerns. Knowing that we were anxious, Dr Ng called us right after the surgery to inform us that the surgery was a success. In my experience, his team is truly professional; they were patient and careful. When we were there to pick Poppy up, Dr Ng and his nurses took time to guide us on how we should care for Poppy and even assured us that we can contact them via WhatsApp for post-surgery care anytime. What a pleasant visit to Vet Medic! Their service is commendable and their bill- Affordable!

Good: Friendly staff, prompt in replying email queries. Wait was short on day of appointment. Appreciate the stray discount. Walk-in are welcome. E-receipts in email. Can be improved: Did fiv/felv test for my rescues. wasn't given the results or shown the idexx kit. had to email to request for it. Didn't check stray cats for microchip number to store in their records. (these are sop i experienced in other clinics which are nice to have gestures) Future enhancement: maybe online booking system or a portal for me to access all my strays' records. Only vid I got was a cute and friendly Bichon called Si Won.

Sadly, we recently had to say goodbye to our beloved dog, and the compassion, professionalism, and expertise shown by Dr. Ng and Dr. Ong made a world of difference during this difficult time. My heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Ng & especially the nurses for the care rendered to my comm cat. I was pleasantly surprised how clean up she was during her stay as well as on her day of discharge! Grateful that the nurses were responsive, went about their duties professionally, took feedback into consideration & most importantly, I did not have to second-guess if they shortchanged her care just because she is a comm cat. That said, I understand that that they operate 7 days a week. Happy & assured that I can have decent care for my own & comm cats, but I hope they have the stamina to continue the good work in the long run!

We were very stressed up and our cat was in critical condition . We needed an emergency as my cat is in dire state need of oxygen, and when we rang them up they did not push us to any other clinics or hospitals unlike other vets did ! Kelly the receptionist was the one answering my calls and she tried her very best and accepting our critical condition cat, she’s super friendly and polite that’s very important and knows what she is doing . Many patients with appointments were ahead of us but seeing my cat was having breathing difficulties they accepted us without an appointment and immediately attended to her. We were very pleased with their services our assigned vet was Dr Ong she was very professional and quick and of cuz we do not have our doubts about her and rest assured that our cat was in good hands . We have been to many vets in Singapore Vet Medic prices are very reasonable unlike other vets they charge you with ridiculously high bills ! For pet owners you can give Vet Medic a try as I’m sure they will not disappoint you ! Very professional clinic and well equipped. Thank you Vet medic and team for trying to save our fragile cat . We cannot show how grateful for you but only can write good comments here for you . Lastly ,Vetmedic really uphold their core values as what they’ve stated in their website. PAWS UP!

Finally a great vet in Sembawang. Really thankful for Dr Ong Shi Hui for her patience in explaining to me what's happening to my dog's skin allergy issues and what are the options available to her. Thanks to Dr Ong's help, my dog's skin conditions have improved significantly and so has her quality of life as her itch stops. Full cost transparency from the start and no unnecessary procedures and charges - everything was fully explained to me. Really thankful!

Brought my Cat Mok to VetMedic because he was critically ill, Male Dr had attended to him and explained clearly what is needed to be done. He also understands for someone like my family who cant afford the high cost of treatments and afraid of losing Mok. He sympathise with us and do what ever he can to relieve Mok from his pain. Everyone in VetMedic is awesome, did not judge us and ultimately have the attitude to make our pets feel better and get healthy again. Brought my cat for vaccination and blood test. The staff is friendly and Dr Ng is extremely nice and helpful. The cost is also very reasonable too. Glad that it is located near my home and the best vet in Sembawang so far. Highly recommended!
