This is the best yoga studio I've been and I appreciate the women only concept a lot. The teachers are all very professional, warm and friendly, and very helpful in my yoga journey in achieving zen and better health. 💗

Women started giving me evil eyes after 3 months practicing with this studio. Lost 7kg. Curves BACK! I had diet in the meantime but still… How can I put it… worth every penny.

Good hot yoga studio is rare- the cleanliness, the smell, the space, the heat and the instructors are all essential and critical. Lava Yoga in my opinion has it all. The Hinoki floor heating is something I’ve not experienced in a yoga studio before- perfect match for hot yoga setting where you feel like walking into a sauna, the woody scent, the tepid and moist air leave you feeling invigorated, all great compliment to a sweaty, refreshing yoga session!

Great classes and amazing instructions! It’s also such a great great experience with the Hinoki floor. Quite different from other hot yoga class studios I’ve been to. The floor warmth is just right and makes the class more comfortable. Nice to sepnd your cool down session with it. Alsoooo... They dont force you to sign up to anything. No hard selling. Very friendly staff. Although amenities can be improved. No showers and Very little space to hang around and rest for a while after an hour of hot yoga session. Would be great to have some comfy chairs to rest up for a while. But highly recommend! :)

Just did my first trial and loved the class - first and foremost the studio is very clean, fresh, and has a spa like aroma smell! and the hinoki floor allows you to practice yoga in pleasantly warm environment. i like it a lot because you can sweat and feel detoxed after practices! Have decided to buy package here because i enjoyed the class! staffs were nice too. highly recommend :)

Great experience in a cosy studio and loving the all new hinoki floor heating which doesn't leave my skin dehydrated compared to my previous yoga studio. Breathing is still easy and helps me move into my poses even easier. Definitely must try for all hot yoga lovers!!

update: went for a trial class and decided to sign up as a member, the minimum commitment period is 2 months. it's $198/month, the first 2 weeks you join will be free (so either you get 2 free weeks if you join in the 2nd half of the month or u get a month at half price if u join at the start of the month). weekday morning classes are more crowded than weekend morning classes, I think most people who go are housewives/middle-aged. some things I like: - most of the classes don't require booking. no penalties for no-show booking. - very clean studio, even at the areas around the mats - spraying of essential oils at the end of each class - spacious lockers, don't have to worry about not finding a locker - good quality yoga mats (manduka pro!) gets a bit slippery tho - free towels (big and small), gives u good grip when the mat gets sweaty what I didn't really like: - some teachers are more attentive than others, some will fan you during savasana but some wouldn't and won't even spray the essential oils - no water coolers, bring your own bottle + own water - if you don't have much time in your schedule to go often, this may not be very value for money - sequences for each class is the same, there are many different class types, but if u go too often for a single class type u may be able to remember the sequence original review: bought a groupon 2 years ago and writing this review late, but i was prompted to write this review after having a rather unpleasant experience at another yoga studio recently, which made me realise how great lava yoga singapore really is. the staff here are really friendly, its very easy to book the classes online via the website. facilities are very good too - classrooms are spacious, many lockers provided, shower facilities, towels etc. i attended a hot yoga class and found the temperature to be just right. i went for another hot yoga class in another studio and almost fainted in there because it was way too stuffy and hot (to the point where the entire mirror was fogged due to the heat). instructors were really encouraging and friendly too! i think this is something i really didnt realize until i tried other yoga studios and felt the difference for myself. 2 years ago i told myself that someday after i start earning my own money i would pay for these classes myself and come back again someday :)

Tried Lava Yoga at i12 Katong 4-5 years back (can’t really remember) and absolutely loved their classes. Loved how they had shower facilities and changing rooms there. Unfortunately, I was still quite young back then and wasn’t able to afford the membership :( Now, as a young working adult I’m thrilled that i was able to sign up for their membership and it’s a bonus that it’s pretty near from where I live! The only downside is that they no longer have shower facilities which I hope they will be able to have it in future as people who would like to go for the morning classes before work would be able to shower after class haha. Nonetheless, I absolutely love their customer service and how the instructors takes the time to get to know each and everyone of their members. Would definitely recommend Lava yoga to my friends and relatives. In fact, I dragged my mil there and she ended up signing for the membership herself!! Btw, I guess the hinoki floor makes up for the lack of shower facilities.

Women only. Everything is clean and always smells nice. Classes are for all the levels. Instructors are friendly and encouraging. Its in 112.. another plus !
