I went there to get my notarized transcripts and I noticed that the translators put the dates in wrong orders only when they handed me the hard copy. They were kind enough to reorder the transcripts for me and rescan the docs. Staff is understanding and friendly.

It's best you check the requirements for your documents before visiting this office. I visited this office specifying I needed a document to be certified true copy; however, the staff member was very adamant and pushy that it needed to be notarised and apostillated. I queried the difference in cost but all that mentioned was how much it was going to cost for the document to be notarised and apostillated. It wasn't till I mentioned I'd like to contact the relevant authorities regarding the specific requirements that I was advised about the different in cost between certified true copy and notarisation and apostillation. I went with the former and my document was accepted without problems. The difference ~ $150 less! My bottom line: check the requirements for your documents before visiting this office. Also there is a lack of transparency that an admin fee is involved with every process. This information is not stated on their website.

Everyone at this office is very helpful and friendly. It was a truly amazing experience and the honesty this office displays is exceptional. I had brought my documents to be notarized as the requirement was to provide certified true copies. Instead of simply servicing my request, they questioned the reason for the certification as they were surprised that my Singapore-issued documents needed to be notarized for a Singapore passport application. They suggested that I verify what I actually require and advised me to check out another avenue which is much more cost-effective. I’m very impressed by their going the extra mile and genuine care for their client and professionalism.

Came to do a simple notarisation of document. Joanne was very helpful and patient, and carefully explained the process. The process was straightforward and fast. It was also immediate as the S'pore Academy of Law was upstairs and could certify the notarisation on the spot. No waiting required.
