Wanted to change to a new car battery at Bukit Merah Lane/Alexandra Village area, but my previous known shop has closed down. Drove around slowly n chanced upon this shop. The uncle was very friendly n helpful, changing the battery under the hot sun. The old lady 老板娘 n his son are also very friendly.

Great service, friendly owners and staff, neat and organised workshop. 7 Stars rating if I can give. This is my 4th time in 3 years coming to Yew Lee to change tyres. They recommended Yokohama ES32 Japan made tyres for best touring feel and value for money. Owner-brothers Alan and Jordan were extremely knowledgeable and chatty, I felt very assured and comfortable engaging them. Their senior staff went the extra mile to file off and polish my rims which were in really bad condition. The end result was astonishing, the 4 wheels look totally brand new with the new tyres and polished rims. This was a complimentary service offered by the lady boss without me asking for it. This is unheard of value added service that deserve an extra star. They also arranged and brought my car to a nearby workshop to do the wheel alignment and sheltered me in the rain into my car before I departed. This is for the 2nd extra star. The whole workshop is well organised, tidy and clean with 5S practices visibly displayed. The first thing I reached home was to share my great experience at Yew Lee with my kakis. Well done auntie, Alan, Jordan and staff of Yew Lee !!

Just replaced my car battery there and the vibes is really great. Smiles and greetings from everyone in the shop. Everyone was so friendly. The vibes at the shop is definitely a reason for you to visit and try their service.

Great old fashion customer service and tyres were at very reasonable price. Changed out all 4 tyres and it comes complete with rims washing + tyres dressing. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Can't believe it took me this long to write a 5-Star Review for Mrs Lee, Alan and Jordan. Been patronizing them for years (even when the late Mr Lee helmed the business) and recommended several friends. It's only because of another inquiry today that I finally got to do this. Honest, friendly and knowledgeable, the few keywords that come to mind. Not only do they do batteries, tires and tow service (office hours), they are also very kind to cross-sell their neighbours' services. Please support your small local SME businesses!

I'm very very thankful for auntie's help. My tyre blew up on the expressway and EMAS towed me to their designated carpark in a very remote location. Desperate for help, I called up yew lee and auntie dispatched their technician to help me assess and brought down a spare tyre for me. With auntie's recommendation I got 2 authentic, made in Japan yokohama tyres (manufactured 2 months ago). I'm quite sure these will not be the cheapest tyres in the market, because the cheapest are the china brand tyres or clearance stock tyres. With these 4 pieces of rubber being the only thing between your life and the road, auntie recommended something that suits my budget and helped me make the best choice available. The technicians are very polite, helpful, downright honest and experienced. They helped me to rotate the tyres and put the 2 new tyres in front for my front wheel drive hyundai. I felt very at ease at their workshop and never felt pressurized into making unsound or unwise decisions. For some things, paying a reasonable price is 1 thing. But paying a reasonable price for honesty, good old school business that work hard to defend their business reputation is priceless.

Yew Lee does more than battery, they do tires too. The tires they carry, MICHELIN, CONTINENTAL, BRIDGESTONE, YOKOHAMA and FALKEN.... They sell rims too. Give them a message or call to tell them your car model, and wheel size. I saved 60 bucks, and they polished my tires, I changed all 4 with good tires. Ask them why some tires are so cheap, they will explain to you. If you need to align, balanced and centre steering, they will give you good price for the job too. As for battery, don't buy the cheapest battery,... (AHEM... THE GREEN COLOUR ONE) you should ask why must buy the sightly better battery. 1) it last twice as long and 2) it's more expensive if you get stranded. Tow car is at least 90 bucks. You might as well pay 50 bucks more for a better battery that last twice as long.

A very good experience getting all my 4 tyres changed at this shop. Chanced upon it & decided to engage their services. The lady boss and her 2 sons (Alan & Jordan) were very friendly and approachable. Told me which car tyre was needed for my vehicle. Prices were reasonable. No hard sell and even got all my rims washed, cleaned and touch up. Looks as good as new! Both Alan and Jordan also shared with me their knowledge abt cars and tyres. Will definitely go back again in future. Good customer service & strongly recommended!

Have been using this shop since my first car. From simple patching of tyre to tyre replacement. Reasonable pricing, and staff will recommend various options to choose. Friendly environment from the lady boss to staffs. Value added to help to wash the rims and polish chipped off. And I can see that the staffs take pride in the things they do. While waiting, I had a nice chat with the lady boss! Overall, pleasant experience.

The shop that open the earliest in the area. Was at the area before 7:30am to find a shop for tyre patching and they were the only one opened. Quick and good job done by the uncle. 5 mins job and cost $10. Friendly and highly recommended.

Had a tyre deflating every 2-3 weeks and was referred to Yew Lee by my usual workshop Shu Fatt. Yew Lee diagnosed the problem very quickly and pointed out that one other tyre had the same issue. They proceeded immediately to change the affected tyres and they were finished in less than 10 minutes. They offered to use second-hand tyres when I told them that I did not want to spend too much because my COE expires in 6 months. They even gave me a discount. Overall very satisfied with the service.

Drove all the way from Wdls to Bt Merah to service my alternator and was welcome by Mr Lee's crew the moment my car reaches their WS. They attended to my car without delay and Mr Lee start to advise me on all the worn parts that needs to be changed. His wife was also well knowledgeable and advised me accordingly. I am happy with the end result after 1 year of feeling frustration with the loud sound coming out from my alternator. Thumbs up to Mr Lee and his crew and will recommend more of my friends to his WS.
