Love the vibes of this place. Nice decor, cosy corners & comfy lounge chairs. Coffee is quite good too. Waffles are light & crispy, served with a side honey syrup. Gelato selection is good. However, scoop size could be bigger. Visited twice already. Great chilling place amidst the hot weather.

Visited the Betsubara outlet at Tampines on Friday, 11 Oct 24, for a late-night dessert. It’s located at the new BTO in Tampines. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the venue is spacious and clean. I highly recommend trying the croffles – they’re perfectly crisp on the outside, with a light, buttery texture inside, and a delicate balance of sweetness that makes them a delightful treat. I’ll definitely be visiting this place again.

Overall, I had a pleasant experience at this cosy ice cream place. Unfortunately, they were out of waffles when I visited last night, which was a bit disappointing. However, I did try their salted Hokkaido soft serve and found it to be quite refreshing and not overly sweet. Despite the absence of waffles, I would be willing to give this place another chance in the future, solely to try their waffle.

There are some interesting flavours, but we test-tasted and preferred the usual tastes (cookies n cream, strawberries, dark choc, mango + passion fruit. Waffles were really good. The best draw actually, is thatthe cafe is a really nice place to just hang out at.

Hidden gem! The ice cream are so yummy and the waffles which made with mochi powder makes it even soft and nice! The cafe is so comfy to enjoy the ice cream.

It was a bit expensive but worthy. Very chillaxing place and the music just chilly willy. The waffles are just superbly done. That's why you don't get to see it and definitely have to taste it.

Edited: No soy, no oat, no lactose free milk. No root beer, No strawberry ice cream for a milk shake (They have since indicated they don't sell shakes or RBF). Still Probably better to make your own coffee at home. Osmanthus Sencha tea was nice.

Expensive but ice cream and waffles weren't great. You'd get better with a tub of Ben & Jerry's and waffles from a neighborhood bakery. Unfortunately this is the only ice cream shop in the area. $5.8 for a scoop of pistachio ice cream

The waffles are really nice, crispy and light and just the right sweetness. But the star of the place, the ice cream, is disappointing. There were no interesting flavours so I took the classic premiums. Dark chocolate taste neither rich nor dark. The pistachio has no roasted taste and just not rich (hay gelato, yocha, fatcat all fare better as neighbourhood options). The atmosphere and environment is relaxing and comfortable, would be good if they offered self service water.

This ice cream is refreshing and delicious, with just enough sweetness to make you feel comfortable. I had a wonderful time here with my kids. If wifi is provided, even if I am alone on weekdays, I would love to bring my computer to there very often.

Absolutely goated waffles bro, got me shivering in my boots quaking in my pants. Would give 5/5 for food if the waffles were served with soft butter but other than that still super W bro

it’s true!! ice cream makes you happy. add a waffle or croffle, and u will feel like u just tasted heaven!!! super cozy environment with the best staff, betsubara really never disappoints 🫶🏻
