Reviews of O'ma Spoon
Was looking for a dessert spot open late and this hit the spot. Great presentation of the dishes. The shaved ice itself could use a bit more savoury flavour. Overall, good time here
bingsu was very well made and delicious, sweetened m ilk is added based on your preference. price was more expensive than an average bingsu cafe but the quality was superb and worth it. have a variety of bingsu to choose from as well.
Yummy orea bingsu for dessert!! recommend their bear latte because their ice is made out of the coffee itself, super worth and cute
Bingsu!! Love love love this amazing sweet icy dessert from Korea! The ice is so fine it feels like you are eating cream! If you haven’t treated yourself yet, you can’t go wrong trying it at O’ma Spoon. They offer a large variety of flavors and stay open late. Just be prepared to wait if you go in the evening. Tables get packed quickly.
The thing I love about this place is that it’s opened till late.
The bingsu is alright. Ice cream tastes kinda cheap. But the ice is very fine.
However, 2 bingu and 1 drink will set you back about $50. Wouldn’t call it value for money.
But I might visit again if I was to hang around Somerset till late.
Decent bingsu, wait time (for the food after ordering) was pretty long when I came here at 10pm on a Friday.
Order item: Choco Banana
Taste: Nothing special about it but I appreciate that they layered oreo and bingsu so that its not all ice.
Price: $16.90
Service: Self Serviced
Delicious mango cheesecake bingsu. Good as a sharing dessert. Abit pricey but taste good!
We were lucky there was no queue when we arrived at 7.30PM; the crowd came just as we were finishing up. The green tea bingsu is really good, my only gripe is they ran out of green tea mochi and I didn't get the chance to try it. Also, it would have been really awesome if they added more green tea powder to filly cover the shaved ice. The staff were really friendly and helpful, from showing us to our seats to taking our order. Thank you!
There was a time when you would see Bingsu (a type of Korean dessert) everywhere. Now they seem to be disappearing as fast as they were growing before. This was a place that I had to search for and finally found. They have a really elaborate menu with tonne of options. The food is how you would expect it to be at any other Korean Bingsu place. Not disappointed at all and will come back when the craving hits again.
The petit Yakult was so nice and it was perfect to eat it during the hot weather..
I did an ugly cry when I found this bingsu place. It’s not easy to find good bingsu places nowadays. Would have given it 5 stars if they had my strawberry one! They were sold out. Sad. The owner is nice and patient in explaining each item and the ingredients. Will definitely come back and hope they have the strawberry one!!!
Excellent spot for Korean bingsu in Singapore! The ice shavings are very fine and each mouthful feels light and airy. We had their green tea and original injeolmi bingsu and preferred the latter. Try to come during off-peak hours as it can get quite crowded after dinner.
Nice place to chill out with friends. Bingsu is soft and the variety of choices available is definitely a bonus!Kpop music is being played here, but sad to say only a limited variety (only songs of a few groups played repeatedly). Drinks are pretty average.
(Apologies for the blur photo, a little too excited to eat the bingsu!)
Very tasty Bingsu. The snow ice melt in your mouth and is not too sweet compared to other places. A bit on the pricey side and expect a long queue on the weekends, but definitely worth a try!
Monster size bingsu, just nice for the hot weather and after a meal, the size is enough for a group of friends to chomp together and enjoy. Great petite mango too.
Dessert not bad. But shouldn’t take order 1030pm onward. It’s hard to eat cold bingsu with the uncle eyeing us constantly to chase us away from 1045pm. They also switch some lights off for this purpose as they are closing at 11pm.😕. Hope the owner look into it.
This dessert house serves one of the best bingsu in town! The dining area is open concept and was full house even on a Monday night!
The bingsu served is not as sweet as other cafes, however they do provide diluted condensed milk on the side for you to add in accordance to your personal preference. The milk shavings were extremely smooth and tasty. You will be spoilt for choices with their menu, ranging from sweet flavors such as oreo, chocolate to fruity flavors like berries and mangoes.
We ordered the sharing OMG Bingsu and was surprised at the size of it even though we were sharing among 5.
had the mango cheesecake bingsu !! its delicious but @ $19.80 its abit pricey since its small (compared to say, ice lab) still really yummy and a good size for couples who want a light dessert !!
Dropped by last month after shopping cause we were craving for desserts . Queue was long but it moved quite quickly so it was okay . Ordered their seasonal special and it’s was surprisingly fresh with the yogurt base ! Not too sweet so we managed to finish it all . Hope they can put in some tteokbokki bits for that texture too🤤
bingsu was yummy and reasonably priced. The ‘uncle’ staff was very prompt at clearing tables and showing us the seat with a smile. Queue was long but ‘uncle’ was very efficient so we didn’t have to wait for long 👍🏼 rare good f&b service in sg!
craving for icy snow dessert. because of never being fulfilled after several attempts. best ones were at taipei. so this time intended to create the satisfaction-guarantee order. dont talk about oreo creations - its inadequet. mango plus additional ice cream. mochi. whip cream 20$+ was a fail. next strawberry plus additional fruits, cream, mochi. the later was a lifesaving. honestly, not tasty as its look. almost 50$ for 2 and thats it. shouldn't it be better than this.
Great tasting bingsu, with a variety of options. The staff are friendly and there is a lot of seating available.
Love the petit option here! My friends and I always head here for desserts if we still feel peckish after a meal, because we know the petit bingsu won’t cause our stomachs to explode / make us feel too guilty haha. It’s especially great during COVID period when it’s better for us not to share our food!
Hope they introduce a petit version for all their flavours soon!
Nice place for small group meetings and to grab some korean dessert. You can order normal sized ones for sharing or mini ones for yourself.
Tried the Green Tea Bingsu. The ice was nicely shaved into tiny needles and was overall smooth. The toppings of red bean and green tea powder added sweetness in nearly the right amount (slightly too sweet towards the end) while the ice cream isn't very sweet itself which was a good thing for us. Would be back more often if it weren't so pricey! Good to bring 2-4 friends to share a bingsu with.
I have been to this lovely café since my school days and their oreo bingsu has always been my favourite. Their chocolate drink is always one of the must haves whenever I drop by. It is a nice snack spot for your sweet craves.😃
A good bingsu fix. I like that they use real mangoes instead of frozen ones like the other bingsu shops. A little drenched in sweet syrup, would’ve preferred all natural but I guess most people like their stuff a little sweeter.
The milk base is nice and fluffy, and milky. The milk tastes a little “thicker” so perhaps not as diluted.
Props to the staff for helping to keep a lost item and leaving it intact. Thanks so much for the help and honesty.
Go to bingsu place in town! Favourites are the injoelmi and oreo flavoured ones.
Recently went and tried the milo flavoured one, was quite nice just a lil too sweet. Milo powder was quite light and didn't give enough flavour.
the food is good, but not incredible. my main issue is the price, as a plate of toast will run you about $15. I bought this petit yogurt, and it was $6.40 for something about the size of a lemonade cup. ambience is nice.
Fuss free bingsu with many flavours, shop can get really crowded on weekends at times.
If you’re looking for dessert place around Town area that opens later in the night. This is the place, actually like that fact that it opens till 11pm and how it’s situated in 313@Somerset (meaning it’s a very close walking distance to the mrt station!)
There was still quite a number of people there when we went at 10pm. Price of bingsu ranges from $12-$17 (kinda the standard bingsu range)
delicious and sufficiently sweet with the sugar. a bit expensive. they definitely absolutely 100% could have given more bananas like come on now
Prepare your taste buds for an unforgettable journey at O'ma Spoon, a Korean dessert haven nestled in the heart of 313 Somerset, Singapore. My recent visit to this charming cafe left me with a sweet smile and a heart full of delight. The food, my pick of the day was Green Tea Bingsu ! Good vibes from the modern contemporary ambiance and the service was equally good. Reasonably priced!
Loved the bingsu, the shaved ice by itself was milky but not too sweet with condense milk and ice cream.
Probably the best bingsu I've ever had in SG! Love the blend of the soy powder and the Nor so sweet shaved ice yummss
A little bit pricey but worth it. Asked for 1 more milk for add up sweetness. And can share for 2.
Good flavours but the bingsu is not very fine. Peanut is always a safe bet.
Handsdown the best bingsu place in singapore i've ever tried. one spoon really takes you to heaven!
Serves pretty decent patbingsu. This being their second outlet, the first being the one at Orchard Central. I highly recommend their Traditional Patbingsu and Injeolmi Bingsu!
Really nice dessert place. The bingsu they serve is actually quite big, can be shared between 2 to 3 people. I enjoyed the mango yuzu bingsu. I hope to try others next time. The seating area is situated in a place that doesn't afford much privacy. Nonetheless, it is a good dessert place to go to after a lunch or dinner
Best Bingsu ever. I always feel like I am in South Korea. Best Korean dessert ever. I can eat Bingsu everyday. Bingsu makes me happy when I eat it. I recommend everyone to go there.
Really crowded during evening time so I suggest heading there noon or before the dinner crowd rolls in!! Also they really pile on the toppings so its good if you like it like that!! Would recommend if you like bingsu. They even have single serving bingsu for those craving it but can't finish the entire bowl!!
It is a little overrated place. Bingsu in general is great but really expensive for Ice. Kids love it though.
Great service and staff, takes care of you and ensures that you get a seat before ordering. Bingsoo is averaged at $14-15 SGD here and is quite reasonable for the portion and taste.
Avoid this place when there are KPOP events. There will be overcrowding of fangirls and their event staff. Won't be able to enjoy your time here if you meet them.
Nice bingsu for sharing. Generous serving. Ideal for 3-4 people.
Always a goto spot for bingsu in Singapore. Soft and smooth ice shavings with generous topping servings! Come by before 7.30pm to avoid the post dinner crowd, if not, be prepared for a queue.
It's a little overhyped and overrated if you ask for my honest opinion. The injeolmi bingsu that I tried was just so-so, not very tasty and somewhat funky; compared to like Nun Sung Yee. Wait was pretty fast considering the amount of crowd there was, and service by the staff is pretty good. Perhaps their other bingsus are better, or I just got a bowl that wasn't good enough... But for that price point, I think it's a little hard to convince me to try it a second time.
I am from Korea and i must say this place has really good bingsu.. red bean & rice cake Bingsu is authentic and generous in quantity too. I make sure to stop by whenever at Orchard.
the mango cheesecake bingsu was sooo good
The yuzu mango bingsu is nice!
Been here for what, 3 to 4 years now! We always have S4 Green Tea Bingsu and nothing else. Can get busy on weekends and late nights but that's the fun -- sharing a bowl of Bingsu with friends.
March 2020 update: S4 is now menu #C3 😜
Korean style snow ice, come with a small glass of sweeten milk. The green matcha snow ice is refreshing with tiny cube of rice cake, nuts flakes and red bean. $5.80 for the petite size.
For finely shaved and fluffy milk flakes, also known as bingsu, try the sweet redbean, chocolate, green tea and mango flavors at O'ma Spoon, which means mother's spoon.

Open till late
Good bingsu, convenient location
Delicious however quite pricey and only accepts cash!
Good for a quick dessert, though not much injeolmi bits were given.
Yum!!! We enjoyed our 1st time.it was awesome
Owners are super nice. The bingsu is smoothe. Nice spectrum of flavours from traditional to modern!
Been here for a couple of times. They serve very nice bingsu. Came on weekdays after lunch hour, was very vacant.
great shaved ice, but could have more fruit flavor options. i had the matcha, taste good.
Good bingsu
Not value for money, but still okay if you’re in the area
1 bowl is big enough for 3 persons. Good taste.
Love the bingsu here. Good place to hang out with friends.
Love the bingsu. Visited here multiple times and never disappointing.
The bingsu here is tasty. Everybody should give this outlet a chance.
Loved the Yuzu Bingsu dessert... DELICIOUS
love the seating plan & price is affordable
Love the oreo bingsu
Expensive and so so
This is delicious. Unlike Japanese shaved ice, the ice that has already been flavored is turned into a mellow shaved ice. Just big! ! Even though my wife and I ate it together, we felt quite full...Please be careful if you are a small eater. They also sell smaller ones for around $7, so it might be a good idea to share them ☆
I enjoyed the mango cheesecake shaved ice at Sulbing in Korea, so I ordered the same thing. The mango tasted bitter, perhaps because it was unripe. The cheesecake was crumbly, and only the milk shaved ice was delicious.
It is a very authentic Korean snowflake ice dessert house.
It's a feeling that you'll fall in love with after taking one bite. Especially in hot weather, it's really great and comfortable to eat it. It's not very sweet, but full of flavor and texture. Once you take a bite, you can't stop taking one bite after another. 😄👍💯💯
