Edit: relocated in March 2024 to a nearby smaller store. Still worth visiting though (although it's barbers only now and no coffee). Really great barber that's managed to balance the slick old-school style with approachable staff and a reasonable price list. There's coffee at the front with some limited seating, but plenty of open space at the back for the barber area. Two or three large, plush Chesterfield sofas act as the waiting area, and there are 7 or more barber's chairs. The cut itself was great and it didn't feel rushed but also didn't take an overly long time. Highly recommended.

Highly recommended! Danni listened carefully to what I wanted and asked great questions. He created a VERY friendly, welcoming, and comfortable vibe (not always the case in other barbershops when you're not a man). Most importantly, he gave me an EXCELLENT haircut, exactly what I wanted. I come here once a month to see Shon, he always does a great job and has great chats. I have longer hair that a lot of barbers struggle with, he always listens and gets it perfect. It’s also a great place, the music and fitout are really cool. This place could easily be in Tokyo or Melbourne, thoroughly recommend.

No better place to get away from the hustle. The Hounds staff are a stylish crew that are super approachable. It’s not often you get a great trim with a great vibe. The music, ambience and authenticity make this place a regular hang for me.

I've gotten haircuts across the globe (mostly out of curiosity). This place gave me the best haircut i've gotten in my life (i'm 37). there's a dude who's half Indonesian and calls everyone bro <- look for him to get your haircut. You will not regret it. oh and the flat white in the front is on par with the flat white from australia (where flat whites were invented). Cheers! Steve

Very good ambience. Rustic and antique kind of feel. Barbers are all skilled and friendly. A very good concept combining a barber and a cafe. You can enjoy a good cup of coffee while waiting.

Business in the front - party in the back! This very special barber has a coffee shop in the front and a very nicely furnished classical barber shop in the back. The skilled staff was very professional and gave a nice new trim with a fade. No regrets to have spontaneously walked in.
