I'm a huge supporter of old school barbers offering a decent haircut along with a great shave. Found this place near me and drove over on a Tuesday evening about 6pm. This shop is facing the main road. When I entered the shop there was only one other customer so I was served immediately. Some Bollywood movie was playing in the background and the decor of the shop was basics, but hey, I'm looking for haircut not a hotel stay so that's not important to me. Asked for a haircut, shave and a hairwash as I didn't want to have bits of hair floating around post haircut. To my surprise, everything was executed smoothly.. the unique part was the shave which is one of the cleanest shave I got, along with the quick menthol ice rub I got on the face which is a great experience. Ended the session with a brief shoulder massage and a good cracking of the neck, comparable to a chiropractor quick fix. For haircut, shave and wash, paid $21 which is very reasonable taking account that other barbers offering such service typically charges 30% more as their shop has nicer decor and nicer dressed staff. Anytime I will exchange the lower cost for this barber skill which getting rarer these days. Great place and experience!

My husband uses n i accompany as an observer. Barbers show confidence in handling knife shaver n hair trimmer. Never once do i see anyone kena cut on skin by accident during shaving…don’t think anyone will cuz they are all experienced in what they do.

First time i went to Muthu after 20 years with a different one. I can say MR. Meyyappan is a pro and I felt satisfied with his careful cutting style.

My usual barber.. Very good cut for me and able to style well for me. Just that I don't like the neck cracking thing.. Overall is economical and good.
