I also loved how professional she is - she made an effort to tweak certain things from the make up trial (e.g. eyelid adjustment etc) to improve my experience on the actual wedding day. Engaged Jas as my mua as her portfolio style appealed to me - not into Korean makeup and prefer more defined and stronger makeup. Mu En from Makeup Maestro did my hair and makeup for my pre-wedding shoot as well as Actual Day (2 fresh looks). I truly only have good things to say about the whole experience. Mu En was my first choice after scrolling through several Instagram profiles of wedding makeup artists - I liked her style and versatility, how natural the makeup looks, and how she seemed like a warm, friendly and professional person. Liaising with her was easy as she is responsive and also friendly via text. On my pre-wed shoot day, even though it was our first time meeting in person, it wasn't awkward and we had a nice time chatting over the 2-3 hours. She took time to understand my preferences and wants, and as able to take feedback well. Subsequently I had a trial session with Mu En which was very helpful because we got to explore hair and make-up styles - and it was clearer to me what I wanted and did not want for my actual day looks. She took my feedback seriously and was able to adjust to suit my preferences. In the end, I really LOVED both actual day (morning and night) looks. It really exceeded my expectations! The hair and makeup held really well (despite the tears, sweat, long hours). But what I really enjoyed was that Mu En felt like a friend more than a vendor, and I was glad to have spent a few hours on my wedding day chatting and hanging out with her! 100% recommend!

I engaged Jas for my actual day make up, 2 looks- one in the wee hours of morning & another right before my solemnisation. Jas is such an easy going person, and the whole process was so smooth and stress free. During the trial, she gave many suggestions and tried out different looks for me to see which one I prefer. I didn’t have any inspiration so I just left it to her to do what best suits me! During my AD, everyone commented and complimented how well the 2 looks fit me & that I’ve chosen the right MUA. She was extremely patient and gentle, also she has shown her expertise by offering suggestions which I’m deeply grateful for. Valda was was an ABSOLUTE dream to work with and I cannot recommend her and the Makeup Maestro team enough. We arranged a makeup trial 2 weeks before the big day and I was so relieved that she totally got the style I was going for after a quick chat. Another thing that surprised me was how she asked for our florist's moodboard before she started so that she can get the color palette right. She even went the extra mile to schedule a quick session a week later to nail down my hairstyle for the 2nd look because we were still pretty undecided after the trial. Cadee was the original MUA for my wedding but was unfortunately unable to make it on that day as she tested COVID positive just a few days before the wedding. Valda was the MUA assigned to me in place of Cadee and she quickly got in touch with me to run through what I had in mind for my hair and makeup, almost as soon as I got the news from Cadee. Everything was settled very quickly and I barely had any worries despite not having a trial with Valda prior to the wedding. Loved both looks that Valda did for me - she really listened to what I wanted and paid attention to the flaws that I told her I was insecure about, like my uneven eyes and unsymmetrical face. My skin was also not in the best condition few days leading up to the wedding and Valda really tried and managed to cover up the imperfections. My guests had many praises for my hair and makeup as well! Same could be said for Cadee whom I had a trial with a few weeks before the wedding. I really liked the looks she tried out for me and was really looking forward to having her as my MUA. Regardless, I was really lucky to have Valda stand in for Cadee and I would definitely recommend both of them to whoever looking for a MUA for your wedding/event!! 😊 Thank you Valda and Cadee! ♥️

I engaged Cadee for my PWS as well as my actual day looks! Cadee is very flexible in respect to the free trial in my actual day package. I requested to do it before my PWS so that she will have experience how to do my makeup and hairstyles for my PWS and she was totally open to it. During the trial, she tried 3-4 hairstyles (which was way more than what she was required to do for trial session) on me to help me make up my mind on the hairstyles. She also gave me a lot of advices on how to prep my hair and skin before the PWS and actual day. She also took in my comments on the hairstyles that I wanted. On the actual day, although she had a second bride in the morning, she still accommodated my request to start my session later so that I can have more rest! She was also very open to sharing with me how to change my hairstyles during the day and taught my Bridemaids how to do it! For my 2nd touch up with her, my banquet overran and she waited for me in the room and was chill with it! During all the sessions with her, Cadee was very easy to talk to and very friendly! She also knows when to stop talking so that I can rest! Overall, my experience with Cadee is excellent on a personal and professional level! I am very pleased with the looks that she helped me with for both the PWS and actual day!

I am a person who does not know much about and rarely uses makeup at all. I decided to engage Jas as my wedding make up artist because her IG bio caught my eye. It states "No Korean looks" which was exactly what I didn't want with the braids and all. Since I don't wear too much make up on a day to day basis, I was rather taken aback after my trial. I told Jas about my thoughts and she managed to adjust it so well on the actual day, to exactly what I was looking for. This is why the trial is so important because it allows Jas to know how bold she could go. My guy friend, who was my maid of honour, was saying how she accentuated my features and hid my flaws so perfectly! (Btw he's straight, so that speaks volume.) Other than her skills, it was so easy to interact with Jas. She's very friendly but not overly chatty and gives her honest opinion. She replied to messages promptly and even showed up early. The admin team was also very clear and quick in responding. All in all, thank you Jas and team! I would surely engage her again should i have a second wedding haha.

Mu En is an amazing MUA, who is ever-patient and kind <3 She did my actual day hair & makeup and I couldn't be more pleased with what she did. At the trial itself she spent a good 3-4 hours just sorting out exactly what I wanted, which made the actual day super-smooth sailing (it's hard to be bothered about your hair & makeup when you're about to get married! - just leave it in the hands of a good MUA like Mu En). She was super patient even when I was being annoyingly picky about precisely what I wanted, and understood so well. She put so much thought and care into the actual day as well. She arrived early, did my mum's hair & makeup and it looked amazing, and even brought hair extensions for me in a lighter shade without my asking (that was perfect to add highlights to my let-down curls). Even though I wanted my hair to be let-down in curls for both day and night, Mu En did an excellent job of making the hairstyles and make-up different and appropriate for the events, and patiently battled my hair which refused to hold a curl! She's super sweet and exactly the kind of gentle voice you want to be talking to when you're calming your nerves before your big event, so definitely do get her as your MUA!

Valda did my makeup on 17th Jan 2021 for my wedding. Writing this post cz i think its well deserved. We had 1 trial but the make up didnt turn out how i wanted. Took me a few days for me to digest and told her about it. She was very patient and wanted to know clearly what did i like and what did i not like about it, and asked for more photo reference. Without hesitation, she found a time out of her schedule to get me down for a 2nd trial. She did not want me to pay for it. Prior to my wedding day, she even initiated to start the make up earlier if my schedule allowed so she cn spend more time to make sure I am satisfied with her make up. Chin Sien is patient and has a calm vibe, which is great cos you know you are in good hands for your actual day and have 1 less thing to worry about. she will give you a list of instructions on what to take note/prep before the AD, so that you dont have to be overly concerned. but do note that you have to go for another trial session if your original MUA is unavailable. we had to postpone our wedding as we were down with COVID, but since we already went for the trial session with the original MUA previously, we have to pay for the trial fees for a new MUA. other than that, everything else was straightforward and easy. Trial sessions are strictly weekdays only~

I’ve engaged Mu En for my AD (solemnisation/ROM + mini photoshoot). Really happy with both the makeup and hairdo she did for me! I love it a lot and also there’s a lot of compliments from my family and friends - that the makeup enhances my look but I still look like myself (which I like!) For the hairdo-I got a half up hairdo with florals (Mu En is really good with coming up with a nice hair floral arrangement on the spot!) Even though I did not opt for a trial, she made sure I was well taken care of by asking for pics of my bare face and hair/pics of inspo, so we could discuss in advance what I would like to do and if she thinks it will suit me. She went above and beyond by also giving me beauty tips and product reco that will help me prepare for my AD (doing masks, products to help my pores, lipstick recos) Mu En is also really patient with me although I’m not well versed in the makeup department, and I really appreciated all of her help! Also not forgetting to mention, she’s really friendly as well and super punctual :) I will definitely recommend her!
