I had called the MOBOT store earlier in the day to enquire about a promo they had on, and was attended to by Mary. Mary was helpful on the phone, and proactively followed up with me on my appointment to visit the store to test the bike out. She was super friendly and savvy in her knowledge of the bikes' features and specifications, which I appreciated. Was transparent and honest in sharing the differences in features between bikes and suggested we test the various bikes out ourselves to feel the difference. I was lucky to meet Joe Tan, a firm believer in Mobot foldables. I noticed how comfortable he and his wife were with their Royales and he told me how I could go down to oxley bizhub 2 to meet Jenny Cheng, the manager there. It was not easy to decide the model, but once I developed key criteria, the choice was easy. I settled on a Camp Gold, as it had a flexible front post so that I could sit upright to help my back (I have backache). The 20 inch wheel size was another advantage I fell for. The freebies that came along was nice, as well as the 1 year service that came along should I need to finetune the machine. I like to also mention that the helpful staff there especially, Akid, Dani and Zen.

Received many free gifts upon the second purchase of the bike! Told them when i bought my bike, the staff did NOT even mention anything about the freebies. Yet, i already purchase my bag before knowing that i will get a free gift of the bag. Eventually, the staff who helped me today gave me the freebies that i am SUPPOSED to get. Bought two royales. Had some creaking from the bottom bracket of one of the bikes within the first month of purchase. Sprayed some lube at the bottom bracket and the creaking lessened considerably. I nonetheless dropped a message to Mobot and they were very keen to follow up with assistance. They first asked for a video but as I was too busy to send a video they called me a few days later to follow up to check if the problem was solved and told me I could send my bike down for a check. Good to know that the bike (while pricier than some Chinese alternatives) comes with such post purchase support. This gives me great assurance as a buyer. Oh and the bikes are super chio!
