Reviews of 190°C Degrees Bakery
Very nice little breakfast spot!
We stopped here for brunch one day. They have many sets, mostly in the form of 2 eggs, some carbs (waffles, sandwich, noodles), and coffee. We got sets # 5 and 6. The sandwich was packed with flavor and the noodles were very nice. I like their spicy sauce that came with the noodles- actually great to mix in with the eggs too.
Coffees were strong and dark. The staff are pleasant and helpful. There are a few tables to sit outside, fans blowing and in the shade so it was very comfortable sitting there with our little dog.
Many different people frequent this place and it’s clear that is a favorite in the neighborhood
Hidden at a corner, this place offers you Old School style dining for breakfast or teabreak. Look at the tables and chairs, coffee cup and saucer. Kopi O kosong ☕️ was good 👍🏻 and the eggs are nicely done (not overcooked). Background has Vietnamese song 😁. Will be back to try their waffle. The staffs are friendly and i saw him greeting his neighbours 👍🏻
Had the curry chicken with bread.
Bread was really very nice. Soft on the inside and crispy outside.
Curry chicken however was so so. Curry is watery, which is ok for bread but not so for rice. Chicken was not well marinated and potatoes were not soft.
Would try their other bread next time instead.
Like their breakfast set. Good kopi c and waffle w peanut butter. And really nice half boiled eggs!! 👍🏼
And I think they played nice Thai music 🌝
190 Degrees Bakery offers a culinary experience that is both profoundly nostalgic and impeccably delicious, particularly with their signature standout dish: their curry chicken and rice.
This isn’t just any curry; it's a masterful creation that echoes the cherished recipe of our Singaporean "Ah Ma", rich in flavour and cooked to perfection, reminding one of home-cooked meals made with a bucketload of love and a sprinkle of tradition. Each bite of the tender, flavourful chicken paired with perfectly cooked rice promises a trip down memory lane, evoking the warm, comforting embrace of familial love.
The ambiance of the bakery complements its culinary offerings, with a decor that charmingly transports patrons back to the 1980s, or even the 1970s, creating a cozy, inviting space that's perfect for savouring these moments of nostalgia.
What truly sets 190 Degrees Bakery apart, though, is its staff. Their genuine warmth and welcoming smiles make each visit memorable, enhancing the overall dining experience with a sense of belonging and care that’s hard to find elsewhere.
For those yearning for a taste of the past, or simply in search of a delicious, heartwarming meal, 190 Degrees Bakery is a must-visit destination. It’s not just about the food, but the feeling of coming home.
P.S. I didn't take any photos, staying true to an era of enjoying my meal without the need of a camera.
Excellent French toast 😊
Eggs were cooked perfectly too
10/10 will visit again
CDC vouchers accepted here as well
Friendly staff, amazing service. Ordered a $2.5 drink but had to pay with $4 CDC vouchers since I didn’t bring cash. They very kindly gave me a tau sa piah to make up for the difference.
Nice old school vibes here. Kopi-c peng was nice too and this is coming from someone who usually orders teh instead.
I like the bread well toasted and kopi o fragrant.
The place is small and can be noisy with loud music sometimes.
Also the lady staff can be quite loud especially screaming at the only guy in the shop. You will receive free lecturing class if you are OK with this early in the morning.
The loud lecturing in chinese can be quite annoying. It is a pity.
❤ their tau sar piah. Curry chicken set is good too. Nice place for tea.
Operate at Yishun central comer. Lot of variety and the food is quite nice.
Really the "traditional kaya butter toast", I like it. Taste pretty close to my hometown's kaya butter toast...
Coffee and Bee Hoon set are so nice 👍
Coffee here is the best around this area, and get reasonably priced.
The food is nice, but quite pricey.
It's outdoor seating on small tables and stools, quite tight with 2 people each having a plate of food and coffee.
Previous was at the other blk nearby.
Present shop got bigger space for dine-in.
The pandan waffles are the only thing worth trying. Kopi O was one of the blandest Ive had in my life. Polo bun was subpar
i feel their local coffee is one of the best around the yishun central area. on good days, toast is nicely toasted and crisp. one of my fav place to have toast set for breakfast in the area
The coffee's really good. And cheaper than chains like Toastbox. They have yummy nice pastry. Will come back again, avoiding Northpoint coffee chains. 🤪
better quality of coffee than food court but same price.
Their breads and cakes and pastries have never failed my expectations since I tried it 2 years ago. Good quality for neighbourhood Baker.
My favorite ice coffee!
