Reviews of 6 Letter Brunch
Got Introduced to this cafe by my friend Matthew who working there, first impression was good and chill at the cafe, ordered “Mr Frank “and “6 letter brunch “ w coffee. The size was huge!! And their Rosti is good ! Coffee is great too. Had a nice brunch there and thanks for the superB service from Matthew. Will visit again
Quite a charming place in the middle of Frankel. Vegetarian options are limited but the food is generally good. They seem to specialize in rostis and pastas. The rostis are quite unique when compared to the cafe scene in Singapore in general. The brunch plates on the other hand feature a few standard brunch items. There is also an ice cream bar here. WiFi available.
Small cafe serving tasy and affordable meals. It was our first visit there and it was so good! The food portion was big and the food was yummy. They also have a swing in the cafe and some wordsearch/puzzle sheet for kids so it is a good place for family meals.
A rather late review.
Had breakfast here on a lazy morning.
Environment was great. The vibe was very relaxing.
Staff was friendly and helpful.
We ordered the three musketeers. Sourdough bread with avocado, eggs and nutty banana. Enjoyed all the items on the plate especially the nutty banana.
Coffee was fragrant and a good size.
Recommended to visit.
Excellent food and coffee at affordable prices, plus you’ll get a postcard if you spend above $30. One of the best cafes in the area! The cafe is very aesthetic as well. Didn’t know they have another branch at Katong, 6 letter coffee. Would recommend trying the salmon taco and chicken Rosti. Must visit!
3 thing I love about this brunch place.
1. Food is awesome! ordered signature brunch (change go scramble egg) and smoked salmon avocado with latte. First time ever in my life that I feel the "wok hey" in a continental breakfast. Scramble egg is very flavorful and perfectly done, rosti is amazingly balance with light herbs. Totally love the balance, only regret is the bacon that came a little too salty for me, could have been a perfect meal.
2. Good coffee! Choice of bean is more towards the acidic side, but the aroma is great and not overly bitter, so every mouthful is an enjoyment. To top it up, the latte art effort is great! Got a bear that resembles aggretsuko's retsuko, my wife love it!
3. Ambience is to our liking, we love Japanese minimalist / Scandi style, gives us a warm and homely feel. And 6 letter brunch certainly did a great job in resting that ambience. So thumbs up!
Definitely in my top 5 list of favourite breakfast Cafe. Will be back again more often!
Stopped by for a simple drink and snack on a Sunday afternoon. The place had very nice vibes and the drinks were good.
My only wish was that we had space in our stomachs to try more of their food selection. Will definitely be back for another try the next time I’m in the area.
Lovely cosy place , love the greenery touch and friendly staffs. They have kids eat free promotion 👍🏻😍.. tried the cheesy rosti with grilled chicken, is delicious and hubby love the housemade tacos and kids love the yummy kids meal! Will be back to try more 😘
The cafe has a really nice bright ambience decorated with plenty of plants (but cafe can get a bit noisy). I had the rosti and I love the avocado smash that came with it instead of the typical sour cream. Brunch portions are generous and coffee is decent. You can also make reservations! And outdoor seating allow for dog owners to bring their furry friends to dine together.
Definitely the most beautiful latte art I've ever been served. And the attention to detail that the whale spout was exactly where you'd drink from (maybe I'm reading too much into it because I loved it so much 😍).
Lots of fun activities for kids - there's coloring, art, kids books and even a tandem swing inside the restaurant. There's a small nursery for buying indoor plants too.
The food was good too - we ordered the Charcoal Burger, Avocado on Sourdough with Salmon, Tacos and the Waffle Gelato. Good portion sizes too.
Their 6 letter brunch was yummy and a large portion, so come hungry! Consists of rosti which was tasty, smoked salmon, mushrooms, salad and fruit. Also had the ice charcoal latte which is visually interesting but I'm not sure tastes particularly different.
Ambience was nice, the whole place is very green and relaxing.
Cafe serving decent food and coffee with a homely ambience and excellent service.
Had the Pancake Wonderland and 6 letter brunch Rosti, both were super good! We liked the mushrooms from the brunch Rosti, as they used shiitake mushrooms instead of the usual brown/white button mushrooms, and still delicious!
We noticed that the cafe is pet-friendly and family friendly as well, with a corner for kids to colour and play at the back of the cafe.
Highly recommend to check out if you’re in the area! 👍
Dropped by this casual cafe by Frankel for a quick bite. Parking might be tricky, only a few road side (parallel parking) lots. Had Waffle & Gelato, presentation was pretty but taste was ordinary.
Staff if quite friendly.
Exceptional Avocado based 3 musketeers!
The guacamole has a nice tangy flavour to it.
Pleasantly balanced platter.
Flat white coffee was really good, a bit thin though as I ordered with low fat milk. But flavour and taste was very good. The barista made a very nice coffee art on it with real attention to detail. Good job!
Pancakes were decent. Had better ones elsewhere, but these were still quite good.
Inside Ambience is nice and bright with the added incentive that we can have our pet with us on the outside seating.
Plants galore as well as very nostalgic water colour paintings of time go by! Nice touch.
Will definitely come back more often.
Had the big breakfast, quite average.
What amazed me was the coffee, acidic and really not robust enough for the long black.
An average cafe.
Came here on a lazy morning for brunch. Love the relaxed bohemian feel with spots of green, u can even buy e plants. Food was generous in portion, e toast was amost double in size in stone other brunch places. Definately will fill u up. The rosti was crispy n crunch inside, just a bit on e oily side. And the avocade side was just a small dab for looks more than anything. Coffee was decent. There are 2 non aircon areas for sitting also.
Presentation and spread of food is 10/10 for the price paid.
Payment and ordering is made upfront at the counter.
Only slight disappointment is the Roasti was not Crispy, but other than that a great experience!
Came on a weekday morning, glad that they open on time. Ordered two breakfasts. Portions are satisfying but the salad greens are slightly dull but cold. Probably just an older batch. Coffee is great. The cafe is clean and tidy, the music is a bit too loud and I would imagine the decibel to be high when the cafe is packed during peak hours.
Newly opened cafe in my neighbourhood. Food really good with a wide wide range of varieties. Oh and they make really cool n cute art on my boys hot chocolate. Kudos for the extra effort! My boys new fav place.
Hmm. Wanted to like this place but could not. Had 2 dishes and 2 drinks. Ambience was nice but dishes were flat. I guess my mistake was to order main dishes rather than typical brunch dishes. Other reviews seem to focus on rosti or coffee.
1. Tiger prawn hidden crab pasta. Sauce was quite one dimensional - it was supposed taste like chilli crab. Prawns were ok, fried with batter but crabs were really hidden. Would have preferred bigger chunks of crab. The sauce was really weak. Not spicy, not quite sweet, doesnt taste like chilli crab at all.
2. Bbq ribs. Meat was fall off the bone but still a bit tough. People who like their meat with more of a bite would be ok with this. The sauce on the ribs was flat. A limp sweet brown sauce. It was a sweet onion sauce with ?apple sauce.
Drinks with coffee were normal fare for a cafe. Overall nothing much to shout about. Not an expensive place but i rather have a bit more quality than save on that little bit of cash.
A great variety of choices on the menu starting as early as 8am. Both savoury and sweet. Good portion and right prices😍. Beautiful interior with plenty of nature. Definitely a good place with families and friends for a good meal at anytime of the day 🤗. #msgreedysis #greedybuddiez
One of the most underrated cafes in the area! A nice space, great menu with lots of options, great coffee and very affordable prices, especially relative to other cafes offering similar options and quality. Pancakes (not pictured) were as good as any I’ve tried (if not better) - fluffy and not overly sweet, and generous portion size as well.
Nice cafe at corner of siglap/Frankel Ave. Had breakfast and food were pretty good and huge portions! Suggest to share! Kids love the swing in the cafe!
Rosti was a tad too oily but overall it was great. Generous with the avocado mash too. Will definitely return! ;)
Nice place for having brunch, the staff is also very attentive. The food is just nice with so much variety both for meat lovers and plant based diet. Definitely will come back again
Cosy bike-friendly cafe in the East!
6 Letter Brunch makes a great pit-stop while cycling in the East, with bike racks provided and a new outdoor sitting area (at the back of the cafe) coming soon.
Other than the extensive brunch menu, they offer pretty smoothie bowls such as 6 Letter Colours ($12) for a healthy start to your morning. Else get your quick caffeine fix with their Charcoal Latte ($6) and Coconut Coffee ($8)
The vibe of this cafe is chilled casual. It's however marred by the sadness of its rosti dishes. Do Not order the rosti!! The one I had was a soggy oily mess. I've enjoyed good rosti in many places, in Singapore ands overseas. Sadly, the rosti here does not make it on any list.
Good coffee and food. Enjoyed the waffles, croissanr and flat white. Cute cappuccino too with cool art on top!
Nice size cafe with lots of tables, but a shame the staff who are welcoming and seating people do not put twos on tables for two, so when parties of three or four come in, they can’t be seated as lots of pairs on larger tables.
Drop off luggage at Siglap to repair luggage wheels and decided to pop in this cafe for lunch. Wide selection of breakfast and lunch menu to choose from and decided on the wagyu beef burger, truffle fries and an americano. Most of the menu items are healthy choices and taste is acceptable. Will go try other items when I do go back that area again. 😝😝😝
I have tried the ribs here in the past and found it good. But a recent trip trying their new ribs poke was kind of disappointing. For starters, the ribs had breading(?) over it, when before it was sauce over meat. Maybe that cause the meat to become tougher. Also, it seems to have been heated up by microwave as the inside was hit but the surface not so much. Hope they can revert back to the old recipe.
The food is decent. Very nice and cosy relaxing place.
The rosti here was beautiful - came with a side of avocado mash that really gave some contrast to the savoury fried potato. The mushrooms were okay and the salad was cute, could do without. But did I mention the rosti?
A cosy space with nice coffee and cafe fare. We enjoy coming here as it is family friendly and spacious. The staff are quiet but attentive, a nice place to hang out either with friends or family
Visited this place 3 times and liked that the area is spacious. Coffee was good and food served within 5 mins of ordering although place was crowded. Appreciate the fast service.
Portion for Junior: mini spaghetti was bascially eating 4 spoonful of sauce and only 1 spoon of pasta. Hope the cafe will do some adjustment to the portion as it was insufficient to a normal eating child (not big eater) and also, the price $12 paid was also not justifiable (comparing to other cafes/restaurants around).
As for wagyu burger & truffle fries. Overall was good but perhaps adding some flavour to the bun instead of just a plain tasting bun will make it better.
Very nice cafe with good food and presentation.
Prices were slightly high though.
I discovered this place for the first time last evening, and I'm back here again today. Good vibes and delicious food!
The food portion is just nice for me, mushroom soup is thick & creamy. A great place to relax.
Amazing service. Simple things like confirming your order and checking if we're ok, even with self ordering. Breakfast was lovely. Hot chocolate was spot on. Will be back!
2nd visit on 14/04/2024 for brunch for my wifey bday , food were great n tasty as usual
Had the salmon rosti and felt that the rosti came apart a bit too easily and portion size of the rosti could be improved at the price point. interesting to have avocado mash along with rosti though, and portion size of salmon was ok.
relatively quiet on weekday evenings but location wise it's a bit out of the way. they don't charge for still water which is nice.
Great food and good atmosphere, I do enjoy my meal a lot. I ordered smoked salmon avacado.
Visited a year ago, more varieties with the same great taste and reasonably priced.
Love the human touch and the plants in the cafe. Slightly different menu from 6 letter coffee their sister branch.
Food served is good. Thought went into their salt shakers - salt grinders for sea salt (healthier version more minerals) instead of shakers (that usually get stuck or shake too much) the grains from the grinder are larger so it is quite obvious how much is spread on the Rosti- good for those who are mindful of sodium and seniors.
Wide variety of food choices, good portion size and reasonable price! Cozy ambiance!
Lovely spot for a lunch. We really liked the overall atmosphere of the place and the terrasse is very nice as well.
Food was good. We had the sea food aglio olio and fish and chips.
Nutty Banana toast on sourdough was brilliant.
Chocolate milkshakes was great as well.
Nice ambience
Love the set up, cleanliness, and service especially!
Really thick gelato, enjoyed it!
No greeting from the staff, I had to greet her myself. Curt, matter of fact replies. Heard her also brush off the delivery guy who was waiting for quite a while for his food order in a rather rude manner. Needs to be re-trained, this one.
Have eaten here a couple of times and have always enjoyed the food from start to finish. Rosti is of course one of the stars along with any of its meats/fish. Tacos are also tasty and satisfying. Dessert is on point and outlet has a very chill and cozy vibe. Will be continuing to patronize this! Oh and it's also pet friendly!
10/10 would recommend!
Place - 5 stars
The place is nice esp for plant lovers.
Food - 3 stars
Food wise was ok, a little underwhelming as the pics looks great, guess it's expectations.
Presentation for the ice cream pancake could be better... Ha... Had to hold on to toothpick so it won't fall to one side. Pancakes bit small ... Taste wise so so but the ice cream was really good.
Service wise - 3 stars - needs improvement.
Prob short on manpower on Monday noon, the cashier not smiling, looks impatient to me and another foreign customer, who actually glanced at me with brows raised but the lady who served our food was friendly. For me, staff and ambiance comes together... Service adds more weight. Monday 12 noon. Maybe caught them at a bad time.
Rosti is their specialty here. It is indeed nice, with many traditional options that are also adapted to local tastes. Ambience is nice as well. Grilled chicken rosti comes with a large serving of chicken, very worth it!
Not so crowded for Saturday afternoon, food and drink is ok!
Nice and comfy place for coffee and brunch with friends. Yummy!
Food is pleasant
Ambience is good, brightly lit and clean
2nd time here and food quality remains fantastic!
Truly my favourite cafe in Singapore! I always look forward to coming back to this place. Food & coffee is v yummy, and the atmosphere is just chill. Will definitely recommend ❤️☺️
We came for snacks and were not impressed by the cake, decor, or service.
The other fare on the menu might be decent but we only had the ondeh ondeh cake, which was a tad too sweet. We did not finish it.
The drinks were alright (we ordered a matcha shake, an earl gray tea, and an expresso).
The lighting of the place is more suitable for an office or clinic and thus, a little harsh. Overall, there were quirky elements but they felt disjointed, disconnected, as if they were curated for a mood board and left at that - the final vision was incohesive.
The service was functional. No greeting upon entry, and we essentially showed ourselves to an empty spot. I noticed this happened to a couple after us too.
3 stars because there are better cafe experiences, and this one does not stand out. The price point is pretty much standard ($5-8 for drinks)
Take note that it's not easy to find parking in the area.
Pretty cafe and great food (love their rosti & crispy honey wings). Prices have increased by quite a bit since we last visited, so this definitely affects our frequency of returning.
Had a great experience having late Friday lunch! Chicken and waffles were bomb, and their cold brew was just perfect! Ambience is very cosy, and there’s more tables at the back if you wanna go al fresco.
Nice cosy place and the food generally were good.
However, although the cafe indicated outdoor seating are available, it was quite dismaying that in fact do note that there is only 1 table with decent table and seat layout for proper dining outdoors.
Nice coffee. I love the menu. I will come back again’
Its like a little nook with good food.
Nice ambience and great food. Paired with great service from all the staff. Pleasant surprises from small things. The salsa and sauces were a nice addition to the mains. Kids had a great time too.
Disappointing signature rosti brunch. The rosti was a bit oily and had lost its crispness. Good sausages, though. Great coffee.
Nice bicycle themed cafe near my neighbourhood. Good service and nice ambience
Nice cafe ... tasty food and good variety on the menu
Just had a coffee. Nice atmosphere. Many plants. Definitely a place to revisit.
Everything is okay except for the parking. Parking there is horrible, even on a weekday.
Friendly Staff ,Nice food and Nice coffee👍👍👍👍
