Reviews of A Beautiful Day Café Tea Room + Cocktail Bar
Beautiful Day at PLQ delivers a refreshing dining experience with a seamless blend of modern flair and casual charm. The ambiance is bright and inviting, enhanced by ample natural light that adds to the relaxed vibe. The menu offers a variety of well-prepared dishes that cater to diverse tastes, each highlighting fresh ingredients and balanced flavors that left a positive impression. I found myself wanting to try every dish on the menu – the farmed salmon was especially delicious, with crispy skin that added a satisfying texture, and the tofu was nicely done, adding a comforting touch.
A unique aspect of the experience was the tea presentation, served in a whisky-like style that adds a playful, sophisticated twist. This small detail reflects the restaurant’s dedication to creating memorable dining moments, even for the simplest items.
Service here is attentive yet unobtrusive, with staff genuinely focused on enhancing the customer experience through thoughtful touches and regular check-ins. Overall, Beautiful Day at PLQ is a delightful spot that lives up to its name, making any visit feel just a little more special.
Victorian themed cafe, very pretty and vibey space, pet friendly too!
Foods were pretty great too with amazing plating & rich flavours. I personally love the udon carbonara!
All staffs were friendly but sadly they chased us out at 9pm saying that the store closed for the day, while google write 10pm🥲 Been a while since I met my friend but needed to find other place to catch up after that.
This place score 9/10 for their food, service and ambience. The 1 point goes to lack of 人气. Is such a waste not many people know about this place.
Is a quite place to retreat from busy day and for journeying. The food taste and texture is done to almost perfection to my palate. Their cocktails and concoction of teas caught my attention and it was so good.
Super pretty pet-friendly place with good ambience! The food is yummy and have unique drinks to try out! The cutlery and cups used to serve food and beverages are so unique and pretty :) Will definitely be coming back here!
A place for snacks, cake and drinks. If you are looking for a main meal you will be disappointed. Sitting area is too cramp. The food is basically not up to standard. The fried rice is dry and tasteless. I only like the sausage wrap with bacon and maple sauce.
Tried the unagi chazuke, not really impressed, to me it’s just so so.
Coffee not bad. Environment considered cozy but one downside is the aircond, the aircond in the toilet nearby even cooler than the shop… I think sth wrong with the aircond when I visited… I can see a staff also sweating… how to have a beautiful day when outside is so warm, inside also warm 🥲
Can’t stay for long…
[Pet-Friendly Cafe Review] A Beautiful Day @ Changi Business Park
We stumbled across A Beautiful Day from a random Instagram post and looking at all the pretty pictures, we wanted to visit it to see for ourselves. After visiting many pet-friendly places, it takes a lot to amaze us but A Beautiful Day managed to do just that.
Not only is the cafe pretty, filled with colourful and whimsical set pieces for your OOTD pictures, they are also quite spacious with outdoor and indoor seating. Best of all, pets are allowed indoors and on the ground (with the requirement of leashing them). We really loved the ambience of the place that fits with its name, with a chill and fancy vibe.
The food and drinks selection is also massive, with Western food, cute desserts, mala chicken, curated cocktails (PINK!) to ridiculously cheap alcohol. Seriously, one pint of Hoegaarden during our evening visit cost S$6.90, which was cheaper than the Red Velvet Latte we ordered (S$8.00). The food itself was around the mid-range price, we spent around $56 for a souffle cake with 2 scoops of ice cream and a mala popcorn chicken appetiser. The only complaint we have is that if you're driving, getting to the cafe might challenging as it requires you to navigate through the mall (or you drop the furkid first).
Still, A Beautiful Day is a charming and quaint place to hang out with your furkids and honestly, we think it's one of the best pet-friendly cafes in Singapore so far!
I was attracted by its pet friendly status. Fur kids are allowed indoors as opposed to the usual outdoor seats. There are some nice decors that is good for fur kids to take photos with. Beer is cheap here during happy hours. Likely to cater to the office crowds. Food wise, I don’t think it’s good. The aglio olio is too dry, and their recommended nasi lemak doesn’t have the lemak taste. The beef is also a disappointment.
A beautiful cafe indeed, with lots of photo spots that are great for humans and doggies alike. We really loved the tranquil and festive atmosphere, with the adorning florals that brightened up the mood. The soufflé pancakes were absolutely worth the wait - well presented, very eggy and not too sweet. We also tried the strawberry champagne tea which was really fragrant and served in a pretty English teapot. Will be back to try the savoury items on the menu next time!
Stumbled upon this hidden cafe on the other side of PLQ, the parkside for lunch.
Place was beautifully decorated and cosy. Friends who saw my photos thought I was overseas!
Had the set lunch (Hakka noodles with thunder tea) and it came with a drink. Was amazed at the effort put in on plating and the taste didn't fall too far off from the visuals.
Amazingly, though the kitchen was inside the cafe, there was no food smell during the food preparation.
Portions were proportionate for the price, if not, the ingredients more than made up for it. Friends had the unagi chuzake and the seafood baked rice and complimented the dishes.
Lovely place and definitely worth a 2nd visit.
Pet friendly too!
We love this gorgeous Victorian-themed dog friendly cafe with the most delicious tea-based mocktails and cocktails. Dogs are welcome indoors and outdoors and there are many Instagrammable nooks for photo taking. Their eye for beauty and pride in their offering is evident in the presentation of drinks and desserts - truly a feast for the eyes and stomach. Our Christmas pancakes were dressed like a forest scene, with little chocolate mushrooms, edible flowers and dried fruit. We haven’t had main meals here yet but we were told that not only do they serve food from their kitchen, the menu from next door casual fusion restaurant, Zing by Xiyan, can also be served here. Please pay them a visit. When F&B operators put so much heart and pride into their craft, they deserve our support!
It is a good place for brunch and chill when you need a break with nice food.
Their food is above average, especially their Taiwan pop corn chicken, the chicken is very very tasty and juicy. Worth a try!
This is a gorgeous cafe run by super friendly Taiwanese!
1) They are pet-friendly, and pets can be indoors so that’s a huge plus, especially on hot days.
2) They partner with next door Zing! by xi yan for some of the hot food - if you know xi yan, you’ll know their food is fantastic.
3) And, in true Taiwanese fashion, they’ve shown their innovative and entrepreneurial side by complementing regular cafe drinks with delicious creations of their own.
Highly recommended if you’re looking for a picture-worthy place to chill (with or without your pets), have good food and drinks, and make some friends!
Very attentive and friendly staff. Love the Mala chicken. I also requested for my eggs to be fully cooked and it was fulfilled. Will definitely come back with friends to try the Hainanese food. Love that one can get to eat Chinese food in a cafe settings.
We went on weekday for lunch. Not a dog cafe but very dog friendly cafe. Dog can dine indoor and outdoor. Food was great too, but not many choices. Best cafe if add more food items. Loved the strawberry and passion fruit drink. Staff were friendly. Highly recommended!
This place is very cozy and pet friendly. We enjoy spending time in this place.

Dog friendly !! My puppy enjoy himself
Hidden gem. Very interesting cocktails. We tried Da Hong Pao Gin & tea and it was really nice. I liked the infusion of spice and tea. Not too sweet. Will definitely come back again.
1 for 1 beer around $16, cocktails..
Various fancy instagrammable tea $12.90, got desserts too, waffle $14-16 or cake $8-10. Did not try the mains, just drinks and desserts.
Spent our valentine 2022 here!! After both busy long day of work! Picked her up from dbs changi at 845pm so only place nearby is here.
Not bad experience at all after seeing the deco and ambience. We ordered valentine day set and thought it was for 2 then they served the prawn "shot" and "latte" (see photos) only 1 each so initially we were like uh why they only serve 1 each. It was because we ordered the set is for 1 pax only -_- lame right then why they call set i dunno.
I was famished so she ordered truffles fries for me and after we got to know it was for 1 pax we added on the pork ribs. All sweety sweety but overall taste not bad. Food wise I'd 4.5 out of 5 but the ambience and deco plus the photo taking max it out totally!
Happy valentine day to all couples in 2022!
If I wanna find a peaceful and quiet cafe on a Sunday, this is it.
A very very dog friendly cafe! They even allow pets indoor... 🥰🥳
love the place ! food was good and service is awesome too. a place we would go again in the evenings...
went again today but this time it has moved to PLQ ! Food was still as good as the last time and the place is much cosier this time round
Nicely decorated cafe, but the food is nothing to rave about. Love the mala popcorn chicken and red velvet latte, but the food is a little too overpriced for the quality to get a second visit. Would recommend to have some maple syrup on the side for the soufflé pancakes, as it tasted a little meh with just the bandung cream.
Also, mixed feelings about the service - great service from some but others seemed a little unorganized imo. Place is way too dark for older crowds and families during the evenings and nighttime, I even saw a family switching on their phone torch lights to read the menus.
Avg $35++ per pax. Worth visiting once for a try.
Amazing cafe for your beautiful weekend evening. The staff is awesome, the food tastes amazing ,the ambience is soothing and you will also get some perfect pictures for your Instagram 😉 it's indeed a beautiful cafe.
One of the best theme cafe and minibar I had visited in Singapore. The price is very reasonable too.
Pretty cafe with pretty food. Great atmosphere for hangout and chill. The food comes with local sechuan favourites. Unfortunately the price is on the high side. Overall, it is good if u r willing to spend a bit.
Lovely ambience and a great place to chill with family and friends. Staff were accommodating and very helpful, a good visit with your pets!
Greatly recommended to visit if you are in the area!
Super cute cafe.. Worth a trip to the east... food are good and good ambience.. servers there are patient when we took our time to take photos.. highly recommend.
First time to Singapore
Found a nice cafe+bar
Every drink was very hearty
And nice ambience
Is a must go place once you visit Singapore
Had the lunch set. Comes with soup. Good service good food. Ordered ala cart char siew to share and it was really melt in the mouth!
Nice ambience and it's amazing to be able to bring pets INTO the cafe. Cafe is very very clean despite pets being allowed inside. However, the only thing that will deter me from visiting the cafe more often is the price point of the food and beverages and the portions of the food. It is rather overpriced especially the tea and the savoury food (serving is too small for that price point).
No fork, spoon and tissue was served when main. Course has arrived. Was seated W1 at the corner while just beside us is only 1 table. Drinks order (not once but twice) I think from W2 Has been kept serving by the same male to our table disturbing our lunch. (Not sure what is wrong..)Worrying if we accidentally drank it,will we be charged for the other table's drink?. A whole list of rules, regulation & COMPENSATION about pets damaging their sofa. Carpet & so on was listed in the whole of A4. Paper. Not so pet friendly after all. Unless pocket got money..
No water served to the dogs too.
If without My dogs I might consider coming again for their food and not the service....
I was lucky enough to stumble upon this brand new gorgeous restaurant in the neighbourhood.
First of all, the interior is absolutely beautiful. It offers various zones with different designs. I opted for the instagramable pink area with cozy sofas. There are all kinds of accessories for those who would like to snap a pic. Their outdoor area is also very large and quiet, which is definitely a plus.
Second, their service is very friendly and attentive. Please keep it up!
They are currently running plenty of promos on beers and other drinks as well as 1 for 1 coffee, matcha and chocolate.
Loved their flat white, the foam is creamy, the flavour is well balanced. I am a huge matcha fan, but I wish it was unsweetened... It would also be great if more milk options were available, such as oat or almond milk.
Everyone can find something to their taste as their menu offers a large variety of items including pizzas, pastas, tapas etc.
Their souffle pancakes sound soooo delicious, yet to try.
I recommend this place for brunches and drinks.
I will definitely be back.
Attractive beer promotion at times with good food. Not forgetting the Instagrammable deco in the cafe
Chicken chop!! After walking with pram on a rainy day from other plq to this plq 3 for this restaurant based on earlier reviews of pasta, the staff said they no longer sell pasta. They are kind like solely a dessert shop!!!!
Not blaming anyone, just take note this is a dessert shop. Got time will come try after dinner at zing (beside this shop)
Good place to chill with your fur buddy & serve very good cheese cake & pistachio ice cream 👍
Nice cosy cafe that is pet-friendly. 1-for-1 beer 🍻
One of the best decorated interior i have ever been. Also available spacious alfresco dining. Draught beer is very cheap, Erdinger and Kirin offered $5 half pint, $7.90 full pint, super attractive deal.
Great place for a good lunch with a wide selection of premium teas. The added benefit of being dog-friendly really adds to the relaxes atmosphere.
Pretty cafe with good soufflé pancakes and a wide range of tea
A great place to chill over coffee or grab lunch. The décor is Instagram worthy for the generation that likes to add pictures of their food to their social feeds. Ambiance is very nice and staff tentative.
Absolutely a delightful experience. Lovely ambience, decor and food selection. Will go back!
Pink pink...
Specialty, red velvet latte is nice
If you use Quandoo to reserve, they might cancel even you show up. Kindly take note.
Its ok. Food was a little slow to come out. Quality is decent for a themed cafe/bar
Good service and food.
Some tables are too close to each other..in view of current safe distance guidelines:-(
Good food, nice deco and ambience. Definitely worth a visit.
Cozy victorian theme cafe
Nice cafe
Average one
Nice decor
A must-visit for pet lovers. It’s so cute. The environment is elegant and retro. The tableware is exquisite.
Loved their Hakka Abacus, mala luncheon meat, mala popcorn chicken, Mac & cheese and mee tai mak!
