A quiet space to rest and enjoy a cup of coffee and small pastries. It’s great to give our friends with special need’s opportunities to work and use their skills. The only downside is you can’t control what kind of music is played on the public pianos. My first visit was so pleasant, coffee was good, no music, no human noise. So I decided to return. But second visit was noisy. Me and my friend couldn’t even hear each other because there were two persons who took turns to play very loud and fast tunes with not much emotions but mostly banging away. One of them play music of games and anime that makes your heart race and the high ceiling of the building creates even louder echos. After a while, we had to leave because the sound becomes unpleasant. My suggestion for Temasek team is to put notice for pianists to play only soft music and control the volume for the sake of the customers of Foreword Coffee Roasters.

Nice coffee place tucked in Temasek shophouse. It’s a business promoting good cause. Staff that I saw are young, friendly and diligent. Coffee is very good. They run a few promos. Bring your cup to get 10% off for take-aways.

I ordered a drip coffee and my wife ordered a flat white. Both coffees were great, and fairly priced. The mood was very calm and relaxing, and the cafe supports the community by hiring individuals with disabilities. Great coffee, environment, and company mission.

Friendly and warm staffs! Quiet environment. Matcha tart was good! Not overly sweet but tasted more like white chocolate. Matcha taste could be stronger. The crust is buttery and delicious. Skinny latte was lovely - good balance of bitternesses and a bit of nuttiness.

Coffee is more than what's in your cup. Its big business and not aways worth it for the farmers, roaster's, the server's or the earth. Foreword coffee have done all the hard work, so you can really enjoy the aroma. I want to trust the product has helped people out and up and not just taken away from nature or communites (As so many of our unconscious consumptions do). This is a sustainable coffee house with comfortable seating, wheelchair friendly, a piano waiting to be played, a few tasty pastries and friendly staff surrounded by art and a garden, near water, trees, birds and butterflies. And my coffee is always perfect. Its magic. Foreword coffee @ TSH I salute you.

This gem is tucked away in Temasek Shophouse. Blink and you might miss it! Coffee is great, service is friendly and speedy. A great place to hide from the sweltering mid day sun and enjoy air conditioning with your cuppa.

Both coffee and food are not bad! Ordered egg mayo croissant and they really gave me damn generous amount of egg mayo! Thumbs up for that! Love the chill and calm ambience here very much. Would be great if you could add more table and chairs (remove some of the low tables and stools, or maybe change the stools to chairs with back rest). Other than that, it’s still a work place cafe that I would recommend and revisit.

Very smooth latte. Even without any sugar or sweeteners, its not overly bitter. I am someone who cant really drink coffee without sweeteners, and they really surprised me with how smooth and not bitter their coffee is. Its not tart as well. Love it, would totally order again!

Offering speciality beans from SEA & China, we went with today’s bean of Yunnan Ouyang. Timeless yuan yang is still my favourite drink here with the balanced mix of coffee from a double ristretto shot, and earl grey (from the earl grey ice ball). It was highly enjoyable with the milk providing a creamy element, and the floral notes and aromatic tea from the earl grey becoming stronger as the ice ball melts. Also enjoy that the taste of this drink changes in subtle, interesting ways with each sip. The latte was easy to drink with a lasting fragrance. There was a nice balance of chocolate-y notes and hint of cherry, although personally would have preferred for a stronger cherry/ floral element to balance out the chocolate. ⚠️ There is an ongoing flash deal for Iced Timeless Yuan Yang at $3.50 on #shopbackgo). This social enterprise is also not just an ordinary cafe, having a social mission of empowering persons with special needs through coffee making.

Place is perfect for working with laptops with some tables having power points. Lots of space between tables and high ceiling makes it really spacious. They seem to support employment for mild disabilities which is great. Coffee is not that great though. 11092020

Fantastic location at Temasek Shophouse, a heritage building in the bustling Orchard area. Step in here for some calm and sip on a freshly made coffee or tea. I love that every staff is specially abled. The guy recognises me every time I go and even remembers my order which is so awesome. None of the other café baristas ever bother to remember let alone have a chat with me.

quiet ambience is good but the seats (apart from the one with proper seats and back rest) ain't giving any restful comfort especially having paid cafe pricing for the food and beverage!! quite disappointed!
