Savory fried rice with Ding Tai Feng standard!!! The fried rice was not too oily and owner is really flexible about customizing what you want so there is a choice of chicken cutlet, tempura and pork chop. Of course the pork chop was succulent and not too thin. I took up the superb combination - Tom yum fried rice and pork chop. Yummilicious!!!!

Hidden gem in this quaint area at Whampoa. There are many combinations you can choose on the menu and I tried the black sauce fried rice with pork chop. To my surprise, the shop uses pearl rice variety (makes the best fried rice in my opinion) and the egg to rice ratio is perfect! The pork chop is tender and flavorful (the boss shared that they have gone through special marinating bath) and you can definitely taste the effort in every ingredient. For those who like a little heat on their fried rice, the shop offers two type of chili sauces. One comes with vinegar and soy sauce and the other makes you sweat like crazy! Both are worth a try because it is once again the boss’ specialty! Try to come before 7pm cus it’s usually sold out before its official closing time. Great place, great food in a layback area. Definitely give it a try if you are in the are!

Tried the spicy chicken cutlet garlic fried rice today. So good! The chicken cutlet was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Rice quality is a good as Ding Tai Fung but at a fraction of the price. Highly recommended.

1st try ...Pork Chop Garlic fried rice, Sambal fried rice with shrimp are both flavourful and tasty... I hope the Expert can consider adding a new menu..Olive Fried Rice!
