Reviews of Ga-Hock Roti Prata (佳福印度煎饼)
Tried the economic noodles for average. Just average. But the black coffee here is pretty good.
The stall operator lives by this saying "只有人等prata, 没有prata等人 - only people will wait for prata, prata will not wait for people."
As such, all prata orders are made to order, fresh, crispy, fluffy, hot 🔥.
I come here at least once or twice a week 😁.
Food and service is excellent! Atmosphere... It's in a coffeeshop 😉
The uncles here very friendly, they say they’re from Msia, the Prata is legit malaysia style. Fluffy kind, and quite crispy on the outside. Very generous with curry! Worth to come down and try!
Enjoyable spring onion prata, nice curry
With travel restriction, this is somewhere you will want to visit for the msia hawker vibes. There was a 10min queue on a Sunday morning but worth the wait. Top uo 50 cent for the sambal chill, it gives the extra flavour. Plenty of hidden seats at the backyard.
Really like their prata! Went here at 8 and there was a queue. It was my first time trying this place. Bought for take out. Order 2 kosong and 2 egg pratas. I would say their prata was cooked too perfection! The curry dipping sauce and sambal chili sauce all tasted really good.
Would come back again when I have prata craving.
I paid $3.40 for one egg and one plain prata this morning. I was asking auntie why so expensive and she said they made their own dough. Uhm, okkk. Now, I'm just reading the other reviews here and realise that there's is a top up of 50 cents for sambal chilli which would make more sense for the price. However, auntie never gave me any sambal chilli at all! Quite dishonest if this is the case.
I would've rated it one star because of what has happened, but the prata was really good, hence, three stars!
Nostalgia place and taste 😀
Still banging, favourite place for prata
Good plate of roti prata nearby my place. My usual go to is 1 egg 1 kosong. Enough said.
Not too bad prata, mutton curry can get a little gamey though.
Great. Tasty, crispy. Dal could be better.
Limited parking lot.
Great choices of curries....
