Already missing the Dirty Matcha Creamu & White Creamu…. So good!! The light creamu on the coffee/matcha added a tinge of sweetness and went so well with the coffee. It doesn’t have the thick greasy texture, absolutely love it! Coffee was not acidic - probably because of the milk and cream. Overall, I enjoyed the smoothness~ Didn’t get to try the croiffles (because my friend’s friend bought it) but seemed decent and probably will go well with the delicious coffee. I went on a Saturday late morning and there were plenty of seats outside. I believe it will be crowded on weekdays. Will definitely return to say hellu to the Dirty matcha creamu! :~)

Cute little cafe! Matcha flavour not that strong ngl i tasted more cream than i did matcha :( ... got the original croffle, hmm ours was slightly burnt 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 but staff were nice and gave us water 🚿 🌊🌊🌊 but also service charge so... 💸💸💸💸💸💸💸💸💸💸💸💸💸 damage: $22.63 😧🧎‍♀️‍➡️🧎‍♀️‍➡️🧎‍♀️‍➡️🧎‍♀️‍➡️🧎‍♀️‍➡️

Drinks were splendid. They were generous with the matcha powder and the cream on top was a nice touch, complimenting the drink. Tips for dine in: 1) Order your drink 2) Wait for a table to be assigned to you 3) Coffee is served at your table

I love hellu 🫶🏻 best matcha drink in Singapore !! Love how decadent and thick the creamu is it’s more of a dessert than drink to me! Been here over 4times and they never miss. will always recommend this place to friends if they like matcha. Only thing is limited seats and slightly higher price points but the drink is worth it imo there’s no where else like hellu! I’ve only tried the matcha here cus it’s THAT good, my friend says their coffee is better than other cafes too!! (I don’t drink coffee)

matcha is very thick & not too sweet! the creamu not too heavy. surprisingly, the cocoa powder elevated the entire drink. pricey ($8.90) but with matcha this rich.. 10/10 will repurchase

Dirty Creamu . Nice presentation of whipped cream with little bit of chocolate dust on top. Balanced portion of matcha, coffee and cream 🤤 Not need to worry not to get any tables as even they are lining up, tables are controlled by them and first come first serve. This new popular cafe was abuzz on a sleepy Saturday afternoon, and it’s not difficult to see why. The drinks are good, and most importantly very Instagrammable. I had the matcha cream while my friend had the chocolate cream and both drinks were good - rich & creamy yet not overly sweet or cloying. My friend tried the croffles previously and she said it was good but it was sold out by the time we reached. Hope to try it in future.

Mouth watering croissant / waffle creations Take the best day of your life and bite into it and that’s why you get. Sipping away in pure bliss with a delicious latte and it makes you forget that you’re in mall space. The staff is lovely and the food and beverages are well crafted. One of my favourite stops

saw this place on instagram and decided to give it a try and am so glad we did! the matcha creamu was done really well and the cream did not overpower the matcha at all. However, i will say it is on the pricier side ( we spent about $20 on 2 drinks)

Their 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗮 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘂 ($𝟴.𝟵𝟬) and 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘂 ($𝟵.𝟱𝟬) are surely no stranger to your Insta feeds. With the signature pillowy soft clouds of cream atop a generous cup of matcha (and espresso for the dirty creamu), the textures and flavours would be a treat for your senses. From the smooth and bold latte to the light and airy cream, a sip of this drink impressed us from the very start! As the staff kindly reminded us, don’t rush or wait too long to stir in the cream because it’ll throw off the ratio of matcha to cream. While we were enjoying our drinks we noticed many OLs getting the 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗖𝗿𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗹𝗲 ($𝟭𝟬.𝟵𝟬) and we could not help but get one to try! Their current christmas special croffle features spiced, sweet tart apples with a hint of sourness tucked inside a buttery maple glazed croffle and topped with their signature dollops of cream. This was very well done! We’re glad we finally paid a visit to and really enjoyed the drinks and chilling there! It definitely gets super crowded with the post-lunch crowd but it was quite endearing to see the staff putting in the effort to check if customers have had it before and sharing the way to drink it. Love the drinks here! The creamu matcha espresso was great, not too sweet, just niceee! The Elderflower tea was soo fragrant too, the aftertaste is wonderful. A very Korean-vibe cafe and minimalist, brown toned. It was quite packed when I visited but still managed to leave a good impression on me. Good job, Hellu! :)

Went on a Monday so there wasn’t much crowd! Wanted to get their savoury maple bacon croffles too but they don’t sell it on Mondays. I thoroughly enjoyed my cup of Matcha Creamu because it was rich and bitter in a good (no cheap Matcha taste) way! The creamu was a nice touch. Coffee creamu was not bad too. Would love to be back for their bites!

A perfect place for me to chill with a cup of Matcha Creamu and a little bite of croffles, Matcha blend was perfect for me, not too powdery and not too bitter, with the cream being not to sweet to even out the taste , Croffles just nice, not too sweet. It’s not crowded if you’re there within the first hour+ 🤭🤭

There was a queue and only very few seats on a Saturday afternoon. The matcha drink tasted quite high quality but the creamu pretty much tasted like cake whipping cream. The maple bacon croffle was interesting. Overall great but felt it’s abit pricy!

Personally didn’t think that the cream drinks were worth it considering the price point and the size. But matcha lovers should give the iced matcha creameu a try. Croffles are not bad as well but options were limited at later times of the day. Limited seating within the cafe. I appreciated the staff’s kind guidance on how to best drink the creameu drinks.

Lovely little spot in the heart of CBD. Happy to see it is opened on weekends as I would never have the chance to drop by as my office isn’t in CBD. I came early on a Saturday only to realize it doesn’t open till 10am. While sitting outside waiting, a member came out and offered me water. Such a nice human touch. Great coffee and unique bakes. Definitely worth checking out if you’re around the area. Edit: Came at 2pm on a Friday and the place was still pretty packed but the crowd moved quickly so we managed to get seats. Matcha was super on point and the creamu was delicious.

Croffle is super good. Ate it for breakfast two days in a row. Crispy outside and fluffy/chewy inside. Their matcha creamu is quite good too! Better to have it in store because the cream sunk but it still remained somewhat solid. Ps. Ask for a warm croffle it tastes the BEST warm because of the crunch :D

This coffee shop has a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are always happy to help you choose the perfect drink or food, and they make you feel like a regular even if you're just visiting for the first time. The shop is quite quaint, but it can get very busy, especially during the lunchtime rush. So be prepared to wait for a table or take your coffee to go. I tried their signature coffee and it was not as special as I was expecting. It was sold as an extra special coffee with a light creamu which is slightly sweet and where the cream is not meant to be mixed into the coffee to better appreciate the distinct flavours. However, the creamu turned out to be lightly sweeten whipped cream dropped as 2 peaks on top of the black coffee. When tasted per their instructions, it just tastes like black coffee, and sweet cream, not significantly different from asking for whipped cream on your coffee at Starbucks. Overall, I had a positive experience at this coffee shop. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is quaint, and the coffee is good, but not great. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a friendly place to get a cup of coffee, but I wouldn't go out of my way to try their signature coffee.

One time experience coffee. Tiny potion for high prices. Makes sense to try and once but that’s all. This one is these places that charge dollar plus for the ice in the ice coffee. Oh well, it was good one time try.

Hellu Coffee is a hole-in-the-wall coffee shop taking up less than 500sqft of space but serving up intense specialty coffee and non-coffee options. Their Creamu and Croffles are worth trying and insta-worthy! On the grinder - A Brazil & India coffee blend that is dark and chocolatey. The baristas are here to serve the CBD crowd and Singaporean palate to ensure they get their caffeine kick 😋

It's a tiny shop with few tables, quite noisy due to the number of customers inside and the small space. You need to order first, then wait until they assign you a table. I guess the default mode is takeaway (cashier assumed I wanted to takeaway until I asked). The dirty matcha is not matcha enough, the signature cream is sweet, didn't expect that at all and it was a nice surprise. However, I personally prefer my dirty matcha to have umami taste and bitter. Overall, good to try once, but not a place that I'd come back to.

My favourite matcha spot! really quaint place with cute decor. Gets pretty busy during lunch and my match order typically takes about 10 minutes. But it’s really worth it and the matcha creamu is super thick and pairs so well with the foam they lather on the top! Not just a hype imo!!! can’t reccco this place enough. I’d consider going down earlier in the morning or in the late afternoon though, to avoid the crowd.

I tried their dirty creamu. Taste was good, but compare to the price, it’s pricey. I paid for $10.45 for this drink .. It’s expensive but worth to try. Just that I don’t think I’ll come back again

Not a bad coffee but I guess at 5.70 for a white it’s not exactly the cheapest. In the vicinity there are a few other choices around the range of 4.50-5.50, I understand the rental/labour costs but I guess consumers have a choice as well. Drop by if you want to try but it’s not amazing for the pricing.

Cute little coffee spot at Far East Square. First thought this shop was opened by a Gen Z, I mean hellu??? 😂 Anyhow, super popular among the office workers in the area, me as well! Had a nice sit down and chat with a colleague after lunch and just like that recharged to conquer the rest of the day. Staff was nice enough to go around to offer some water. $8.90 for the iced matcha cremu 🍵

Crowded during CBD lunch period, took some time to order, but staff was really chirpy and bright :) White Creamu coffee was nice, the cream was a nice touch to make it heavier / thicker (reminds me of luckin’s coconut velvet latte) but for 9 bucks I wouldn’t buy it on a regular basis.

Stumbled upon this hole in the wall coffeecroffle haven. Both of us got their matcha cremus in ice and hot, and both were really delicious but I felt that the cold one was marginally better then the warm. Service was really good and prices were definitely steep but not too far from cafes of the same nature.

I believe the concept here is Japanese inspired... Aesthetically 10/10 - beautiful, simple, clean Beverages 9/10 - decadent, instagrammable Service 10/10 - friendly staff Have to take it slow drinking these, quite jelak. A good treat to have once in awhile.

Matcha Creamu was on the milky side and didn’t have a strong matcha profile at all, only getting a bit more prominent towards the end as the matcha was settled at the bottom. For $10, it was really not worth the price. The Dirty Creamu fared better though.

I have a love-hate relationship with this place 😂 Came twice to this place to found out it was closed. My advice is to check their IG account on their store opening hours before coming. Tried their hot matcha creamu and I loved it!! The matcha taste was strong and not overly milky. I love the creamu, which tastes like melted marshmallow 😋 Price wise is a little steep but I think it’s worth the taste? will want to try their iced matcha creamu next.

Full menu will be launched in the later part of the month. Had: spicy tuna croffle, egg mayo roundwhich, iced white creamu and iced chocolate creamu. damage ~$30 Overall i think one is rly paying more for the ambience than the taste Would recommend getting drinks hot (will try next time) because the iced version didn’t taste strong. $8.90 for this is really pricey given the small space & lack of ambience. feels like a simple take-away coffee place. the eco-friendly bamboo spoon leaves a rough feeling on your tongue & you can taste the bamboo. their matcha is on the more bitter side, less creamy & more powdery. if that suits your taste, i’d say give it a try. i’d say it is a good grade of matcha :-). however, if you prefer a sweeter matcha lattes, this might not be for you. plus points for the staff as they will patiently explain how to enjoy the drink even though the cafe is brimming with customers & they are obviously very busy. ☺️☺️

Can really taste the quality of the matcha from their matcha creamu and matcha latte. Opted for less sweet and it was perfect. Was crowded on a weekday afternoon. Price was a little steep.

a new favourite cbd coffee spot of mine! a lovely little place with a carefully curated menu. the iced matcha and iced white creamu are both hits and would be delicious hot as well i imagine! tried their lightly glazed cinnamon sugar croffle on a separate occasion and it was lovely as well.

A small and cosy place that is tucked at a corner, and if you will miss it, if you are not observant enough. The interior is beautiful and it has only 3 tables indoors. It was best to avoid the lunch crowd as it could get really crowded. My favourite is the ice matcha creamu, which the staff will recommend that you enjoy the drink and cream separately without stirring them together.

Visited HELLU coffee for an afternoon coffee and was thoroughly impressed. I had an iced americano which was one of the most well balanced I have tasted. The staffs were friendly and attentive which added to the overall experience. I also had some of their Croffles which were superb. Great service and great coffee - Highly recommended!

Not only that, the ladies who work there are beautiful, and the guys are handsome. Between the charm and the caffeine, Hellu gets your heart racing. Found this cafe thanks to my clients. Loved the vibe, and the service staff were super friendly (they even gave me pointers on how to enjoy Creamu, their specialty). The only downside is that the place is quite tiny, I imagine it'd be difficult to dine in during peak hour.

It's a crowded cafe ! Ordered a coffee to go, and the Long black I got tasted quite diluted and sour. It's a bit of a letdown, especially seeing the crowd that gathered there. Well, at least tried once !

Stumbling upon Hellu Coffee by accident on my way to work turned out to be a delightful surprise. The cremu, especially the matcha variant, stood out with its rich and velvety goodness. The croffle, a blend of croissant and waffle, offered a tasty and indulgent treat. The layers of flavour and texture made the experience quite memorable. It's important to note that the cremu is a dairy option with no non-dairy alternative available. Unfortunately, if you're trying to stay away from dairy, this aspect should be considered.

was never a fan of matcha but hellu’s matcha creamu was a game changer! it was so smooth and flavourful, will definitely get that again on my next visit! i got to try the earl grey milk tea too and it was so tasty, just the perfect balance between the milk and tea taste. definitely recommend that if you’re craving for a good milk tea🤤 my mother who don’t normally enjoy sweet drinks, thoroughly enjoyed the milk tea since it’s not too sweet!

Matcha cremu was soso, didnt felt that the flavour was intense enough… Seats are very small and place is cramp, no place to put my legs … once you finish eating you will be pressured to leave. Do note that they have a system of buying food first before you are assigned seats!
