Reviews of Kopitiam Corner @ Choa Chu Kang Crescent
Nice neighbourhood coffee shop where you can enjoy a nice cup of coffee together with your favourite breakfast. In the morning you can try the Dim Sum which is my personal favourite. The prata and fishball noodles also nice however during dinner the best stalls are the Zhe Char and the Western Food (The Chef’s Place). Give it a try!!!
Variety of food stalls, claypot and western food are not bad. Not very crowded but hard to find seats as half the tables are not to be occupied now, many patrons also just hanging around smoking and chatting.
The first time I went there I was surprised at the prices. Normally a plate of good Nasi lemak would cost around $4. The malay store sells delicious and value for money food. I like the Nasi lemak and lontong so much I visit rwice a week.
Quite a number of choices for a small food court like this. It's not air conditioned, but you get all sorts of choices, Hong Kong style roast meat, claypot dishes, western food, kimly zi char, dim sum, minced pork noodles... Good place for a simple meal.
Great zichar store!!!!! Ordered pork ribs (RLLY GD BRO do order this) , lala in superior broth, claypot tofu n 2 plates of rice for ard 31 dollars. Great enviroment with fans and a clean toilet. Would come again
Small community coffee shop with a few varieties of food. Mostly are traditional Singapore foods like fishball noodles, malay food, mix vegetables rice and dim sums. The best is the discount given for ordering hot beverage with sugar. The dim sum is cheap and good.
Better than average neighborhood kopi tiam. Stalls that you've got to try are:
- Malay food. Their breakfast is superb. Come early to avoid disappointment 😊
- Western food. Reasonably priced western dishes 👍🏻
The rest of the stalls are okay.
A nice food court, under NTUC, serving affordable foods to locals in the area. One of my favorite spots.
Very affordable food options and remains always busy
This 4 stars review is for the mixed vegie rice stall which I frequented the most often in this coffeeshop. What makes them stand out is the plain rice itself which tastes good even on its own.
The dishes are tasty also and sometime I felt that I was eating tze char dishes but paying price of mixed vegie rice. One star less is because some dishes with premium price are not clearly labelled.
Update on 6 Mar 2021: The rice that they served tonight seems to be of a lower grade as it lacks fragrance and the texture is also not nice. Will try again in future to see if they have really switched to a lower grade rice permanently.
Update on 3 Apr 2021: After several visits, it is confirmed that the plain rice has gone back to the usual standard.
Food selection for breakfast is sufficient. However nobody seems to have control over the sun shade here due to adjust for morning sun when seating outside. Not even the coffee shop people or cleaner.
Kimly Dimsum (bakwa pau & fried yam ball specialty, chee cheong fan, porridge), Chef's Place western are my two fav. Econs rice have good portion. The claypot is crowded but only ok in my opinion.
Foods here are not bad, clean and delicious. It own by Foodfare, NTUC. Just don't understand how comes the selling price here are above those stalls nearby MRT station. At worst, one of the Muslim is going to increase their price o 1st December '19.
Most stalls open in the morning. By 2 pm some closed. At night a good place to eat local food especially the “chir cha” you are given a pager after ordering.
The place is clean. Drinks, specially coffee are cheaper compared to other coffee shops. Foods sold are affordable and of good quality too.
Just another neighbourhood coffee shop. Located at the junction of Choa Chu Kang North 7 & Choa Chu Kang Drive. The usual shops include Chinese zhi char, Malay food, Western food, mixed rice etc. The claypot stall stands out for it's food quality at reasonable prices.
Convenient place for food if you're living in the neighborhood. Has decent options and prices are not too expensive.
Very warm. When I was eating, there were 2 men to my left and right, coughing and sneezing away without covering their mouths. The western carnivore dish was overpriced.
The food is cheap, and serving is quite plentiful.
Poor customer service to lower the automatic sunscreen. But food is good. 2 cups of coffee cost only $1.70.
Xiang Ji is not too bad. The char siew is lean and tender while the duck was not gamey and was roasted nicely with a crisp skin. The other stalls have huge varieties of food too for a small coffee shop like this.
Zi Char is one of my go to places for good food. And you always get freshly cooked meals.
Both the drink stall uncle and the bak chor mee cook are friendly!
Go strike up a conversation with them, i'm sure they'll appreciate it! 😁
Claypot chilli chicken with soup and egg set is good value for $14.
Love the teh and kopi here. Old airport road wanton noodles are good.
The ibdian prata stall is good! Matabak mutton with fish curry... But servibg is a bit slow in the morning...
Eat this western food : Chicken King.
Great tasting, main meal can add 2 sides.
Loved the Claypot chicken..recommend it strongly.. make sure you can handle the spice ..cause it's hot..!!!👍🏻
Ok places to eat.. The ONLY place that have a MALAY style cooking and the price is very reasonable.
Claypot stall is so popular. Could use Fave. Female toilet was clean.
Actually i went there for south indian food...yaa its so good
The gung bao ji is so good!!! If can be Spicer will be better
No regret visiting mums curry stall for the delicious indian food there👍kedai kuali best too❤
Nice coffee, tim sum. Noodles, claypot and the Rice Garden mixed vege rice.
A variety of food available here with reasonable price. Quality guaranteed.
Food is varied and generally good, service is also pheasant hunting
Great breakfast spot, dim sum, Chinese noodles, prata and awesome duck!
