Reviews of Lao Wang Kampong Bean Sprout Chicken Rice Hor Fun
Chicken with less fat, healthier to eat. Priced on the higher side comparing similar food.
Option will much smaller since is a Kampong chicken. I like the ginger and chilli sauces. Very good mix with chicken.
Dabao also nice. The rice has enough flavour to it. The only small downside is that the price is on the higher side if compared to neighbourhood sort of chicken rice stalls. But not more expensive like food courts such as koufu or food Republic. The tender chicken was really mind-blowing. Overall I think it's good value for money because the meal really filled me up
Minimum order is $4 for this chicken rice in a coffeeshop. I hope the boss will consider my feedback and provide more meat for the customers in the future.
Very flavorful rice and chicken. One of the most tender chicken. But its on the exp side
Very good chicken rice. Claim to fame is that the chicken is organic. Good texture on the chicken. Love the chicken feet as well.
The total price for half chicken and a plate bean spouts is $18. One of the best now I had ever eaten. Delicious and I went on a non peak timing. The ginger and chilli dipping tasty. Definitely will go again.
Might be one of the best I could find in Singapore.
Glad that I gave myself a try.
Makes me feel like I'm back to Malaysia.
Can try for the dark (dry) "Hor Fun" 👍🏼
Only se white hainanese chicken and no roasted chicken. Still it is very nice. The bean sprout is crunchy too. Half chicken for 2 adult and 1 teenager and we polished the whole plate in no time. They used kampong chicken so less meat and not so fat.
Located at the ever busy Lorong 17 of Geylang Road, this stall is known for its bean sprouts, which are crunchy and delectable (so good I ate $10 worth on the same day). The chicken is of the kampung variety and is on the lean side. Interestingly, they also sell braised pork trotters, which will be for dinner and the subject of another review.
Great tasting kampong chicken. The rice was well done. I ordered the century egg tofu as well which was really good.
The rice for this chicken rice is done to almost perfection, well-oiled, chicken flavoured, individual grains. I enjoyed the rice more than I did the chicken.
toptier food man as for price i dont think it is that expensive maybe because i just live in those newer neighborhoods so yea! do buy
Great food, my top 5 chicken rice in sg
Chicken & rice are good, however parking is a great inconvenience!!!
I received a set of chicken rice and bean sprouts. 6$ for the tray in the photo. The ginger sauce did a good job and I was able to enjoy it deliciously until the end. The rice has a lot of flavor and is delicious. Unfortunately, the chicken was a little small. It may vary depending on the day.
The BBQ seafood tastes great, the ingredients are fresh and the cooking is top-notch
