Reviews of P12 Coffee Shop
Drivers heaven. Parked above multi storey and food court directly below. Tried the fish biryani not too bad $7. Long q for Prawn Noodles. Zi Char, Satay, Econ Rice, Western, Meepok. And also they have a small stall selling confectioneries like egg tarts, shao bao.... Kopi O 1/5 though.
neighborhood coffeeshop, small and have enough stalls including anchor cook-to-order stall popular during dinner. a satay stall, mixed veg rice, western, noodles, rojak and drinks/pastry/pies. However we visit here mostly for the cook-to-order stall which has reasonable price and more importantly, good cookin'. location is a bit off central so it's less crowded but weekend nights still mostly fully occupied. we're repeat customers for these reasons!
White beehoon, satay, western stall, zi char, mixed rice. These are just the stalls I could remember. Not sure if there are halal options.
All the dishes we tried were pretty decent and we are definitely coming back again. The only negative comment is that while the satay was well-seasoned, a handful of sticks were a little too charred for my liking, ie the cook wasn’t consistent.
Note: To the earlier reviewer that said the coffeeshop is warm and humid...SINGAPORE is warm and humid. And this is a coffeeshop. Please be fair with your comments and ratings.
Tze Char Stall and Minced Meat Noodles stalls are quite popular with the residents here. But expect long waiting time during peak hours
The Zi char stall here is good, so it explains its business! Good thing is, u can call and order in advance before dropping by to collect if u are packing food. Besides the Zi char stall, there's another ba chor mee stall that is extremely popular. Be prepared to face long queues unless you decide to visit later arnd 9+ where the crowd is more or less dispersed. Do note that the ba chor mee stall closes on Sundays though.
Try the western lamb loin and satay. The satay is above average. Will come back but not the western lamb loin, meat to hard and expensive at 12 dollar.
Love the satay and pork noodle. But western food standard has recently drop. One of our fvourite coffeeshops in Sengkang, try the zhi char too.
Best prawn mee in the area. Possibly the top 3 in SG
Was there for earlybreakfast. Good pts 24hrs, carpark nearby, clean table, friendly staff, plenty of seats, not too hot. Negative pts common food nothing special. Prolly night time good for satay and western food which closed in morn.
The food stardard has dropped. Prices remained the same but portion is much lesser now
Coffeeshop with good flavorful prawn noodle and tender chicken rice.. And also a side stall with Chinese noodle and dumplings to add on your liking..
The Sheng Fa satay were delicious n price was reasonable. We make a call to place order n collect at the stall. My grandson loved very much. Haven't try the other stalls food. Will go again for other food.
Midnight 1:30am I was there, only left curry beehoon. Luckily curry not bad.
For disclosure, this review is done after having visited the outlet after hours, so am only sharing about service and what was available then. Horlicks was NOT available. Hot drinks, as a normal setup, was passable (coffee/tea)... Pastries offered looked just okay-tried a tuna puff pastry, which turned out to be SPICY!! (NO indication on label) was not very palatable... Service at the hour (past 1am)was not great, and the crowd (or not crowd, but group) were out to just have a drink and many were smoking...(even outside of designated areas, but no surprise) Food which otherwise this place is known for is supposedly well-known (like prawn noodles and others) will possibly append to current review when able.
Meepok is a must try when you are here although others may say that the Prawn Mee is the star of this coffeeshop. However they only open for dinner till late. Laksa is great as well! But the soup really hits the spot.
Big Prawn Noodle stall you must try. So far the best in north east area. The satay stall next to the prawn noodle is nice also but the waiting tume is an hour minimumly during peak hours. Can call in at 9086 2528 to make advance order.
The coffeeshop always ran out of seats. Many drink uncles there and also bored uncles hog the seats. Not easy to find seats especially with covid restriction in place.
Curry fishhead at zi char stall is good. Fresh fish and the curry gravy has taste of fresh grounded home made spices. Went twice and the gravy same taste means they maintain standard very well! Can get hp number to place advance order or reservation.
1st visit dated Oct '21.
Long Q for big prawn noodles so we try the kueh stall selling chwee kueh, chee cheong fun, yam cake, nasi lemak, otah... etc.. instead.
Managed by a kind understanding friendly, good service, caring Aunty.
when I ask for no oil chye po for the chwee kueh, she quickly scooped up the chye po to drain away the oil and answered no problem..!
I praised her for her kind understanding and she claimed will try to drain away the oil as much as possible when she is free..
Eaten halfway through i saw she is selling nasi lemak too. So I ask her to prepare take away for me and she asked me to sit till she pass me the take away food and return me the change..
Hardly can meet such a good service in the neighborhood coffee shop..
Will be back again for your kindness and support you Aunty!
HI this was my first visit there. The arrangement of chairs and table need improvement. Cramp! 2 stalls at the centre occupy too much space. Food is not bad. SATAY is popular but they operate at later time. Mix food quite a variety and fresh
prawn noodle can try, the dian xin store carrot cake nice, duck rice store yun tun mian good must add siao rou lol
The standard of the mixed rice is getting lower and lower...the Thai chicken piece is significantly getting smaller.
At this coffee shop have 2 stall not to miss. BEST
1) Prawn noodle.
2) Satay.
Nice small coffee shop
Tried the Zi char Fu jian noodle, handmade ban mian, handmade pork dumplings, duck rice, white bee hoon, western food. This place is seriously a gem!
Enjoy the roti prata here every morning after my early morning walk... Even the stall selling drinks knows what I want to drink before I place my order.
Many delicious food, Tze Char, Chinese Rojak, Satay, Roasted Duck and Pork, western food and Bak Chor Mee 😋
Bak Chor Mee, Prawn Noodles Soup and Satay are delicious.
Food taste good
Prata is good! Cai fan is also good! Chicken rice stall as well 👍 kopi can be better!
Unsure about the rest of the stalls, but the prawn noodles is very very good!
Big prawn noodles good but always long Q.
Nice food selection, unfortunately a lot of smokers spoiling the mood/air for everybody else.
Famous Prawn Noodles
Yummy prawn mee at the coffee shop. Closed on Thursdays
The Minced meat noodle not bad. Worth trying.
I recommend roast pork rice and the balister noodles !
Nice Indian n Economic rice. So is the coffee.
Bread should not occupied 1 table
It's a gem in the neighbourhood. The white bee hoon and xiao long bao are a MUST-TRY.
The rojak is one of the best you can find in sengkang!
You can find food even after 10:00 pm
Great supper spot with good bakchormee and zichar.
