Hidden gen at one corner of a busy MRT eatery. $3 portion Kway Teow is decent and for this price I still can find a prawn in it. What a good deal. Because they fried each portion by portion. That’s why the kway teow got wok hey and not mushy.

Absolutely love this Penang Fried Kway Teow! The smoky "wok hei" flavor is incredible, just like the ones you get in Penang. The portion sizes are generous, especially considering the price - only $2.50 for regular and $3 for large. It's perfect for a quick and satisfying meal on the go, although you could dine in at the adjacent coffeshop as well. It seems to be open very early in the morning as well. I managed to get one (with no queue) at 8am. Highly recommend trying this!

Hidden at the back of Admiralty MRT station. Affordable Penang Char Kway Teow. Uses the same thinner kway teow just like Penang. $2.50 portion is alright. Very good wok hei. Wish there was an option for additional “hum” at cost. Flavours are good too! Definitely worth a try. Small little shop be sure to check it out.

Rare find at $2.50 a packet. Good wok hey with lots of beans sprouts and 2 prawns. Portion is small but cant complain as price is cheap and its hard to find penang char kway teow selling at this low price elsewhere. Can ask for bigger portion $3, $4, $5 though not stated anywhere at the store.

Takeaway joint but you can have the noodles at the food centre next to the shop. Good wok hei, fragrant and not too salty. For 2.50, portion is of course not normal size. Maybe 3/4 of a normal portion? Included two prawns. Had to wait for about 15 mins on a Sat evening.
