Reviews of Relish by Wild Rocket
Nice & comfortable cafe dining at Cluny Court.
Just happened to jump in here for lunch till rain will stop and we eventually had a fun lunch time here.
Loved their hamburger 🍔 ❤️ (forgot to take photo and ate right away because it looked so delicious...)
Most remarkable thing for us was the cafe atmosphere is very nice, while staff T-shirt has some words in Japanese, which seems that staff also understand the wording on the T shirt and wear it. 😀
The wording is correct Japanese with comical sense so it made us unforgettable one.
Anyway, thank you for fun lunch time and we look ed friendly staff there!
Unique restaurant at night tucked away in the second floor.
Unique menu offerings, small plates for sharing if not in the mood for a full dinner.
We got the exotic har cheong frog leg, nachos with pulled beef, carbonara pasta. Would say nachos were the best. I personally didn't like the frog legs (too many bones) but my partner quite enjoyed it.
Interesting find for a one time try.
Happened to walk into this cosy place. So beautifully decorated in Christmas ambience. Lucky to be sitted next to the Christmas Tree and smell Christmas too....
Food was surprising unique and delicious.
Had a simple nice Toufu salad, oyster omelete in special and prawn paste frog legs... wasnt hungry and selected light meal. Definitely will return to try brunch and dinner.
ordered the crabmeat linguine (creamy tomato sauce), oyster omelette spaghetti (spicy) and cheesy truffle fries. for drinks we had the elephant lemonade and lychee cranberry.
food exceeded expectations - would definitely go back for the crabmeat linguine again; oyster omelette spaghetti was quite interesting. fries at the bottom of the basket were also covered with cheese and truffle. elephant lemonade drink is good for those who like sour but refreshing drinks.
however, the service staff at the entrance ignored us and another family who were there waiting. since they were sitting we assumed they were waiting for walk in tables (there was a sign that said next available table in 20-30min) so we went up to the counter, but the lady didn't even glance our way and only looked up to talk to a grab driver who came after us. turns out the family had reservations as well and were waiting to be attended to, so we had to approach the lady ourselves. small matter but would've appreciated if she had acknowledged us when we stood right in front of her.
overall still a good experience with great food!
Really nice place in Cluny Court, nice atmosphere. Table duration is only 1 hour during the weekend’s peak period. We had mushroom cheese beef burger, chicken rice bowl, rosti, latte and matcha latte. The matcha 🍵 was super light so I wouldn’t recommend if you prefer a strong matcha taste. But the food was overall very good!
The burgers were fantastic! The juice was just the right amount. It won't flow out but is sealed within the burger so it is not messy when using the hands to eat.
Delicious food - tasty burgers, carbonara, and bangers and mash. Love their spam fries! Drinks are interesting and I especially love the original elderflower drink. Matcha lava dessert is really good.
Free flow iced water available. Plenty of baby seats so very family friendly. Ambience is really amazing, high ceiling and loads of green plants with homely decor. Plenty of seats available too. Service is good and attentive.
Total bill came up to around $40 nett per pax with one main, one drink and a dessert shared with two.
Brought our overseas relatives over to relish for a dinner this evening and again we had a really nice dinner :)
Eber is very attentive and when we explained that our guests might not take spicy food well, he will take care to highlight when certain food is spicy and we need to note. He and his team took care to mention the names of many small plates we ordered and Eber will introduce how best to enjoy the dish. Also, he will introduce the dishes with care and mention some interesting stories or meaning behind the dish.
We had the Roketto menu for dinner service and it is very different from the usual relish menu. I prefer that as I think that is really the true fusion and intepretation of mod sin cuisine - the reason why we wanted to bring our overseas guests to try the dishes. Again food is amazing and our guests really enjoyed the dinner. We all have our own favorite dish after the dinner.
Thank you to the team for another amazing dinner. Unfortunately our bellies are full after the small plates but we will definitely be back for more!
looks little but actually v filling portion. the rosti was actually rlly generous. enjoyed the meal a lot, and v cute deco on the board. atmosphere is nice and spacious enough even though there were many customers. the mocha wasn’t sweet enough so I had to ask for a bit more chocolate l refill. other than that it was a v pleasant and chill experience. good customer service from the waiter (it looked like he was the only one busy on the floor - kudos for quick service).
Nice relaxing ambience & creative unique tasting menu like blue cheese, pear and walnut burger. They accommodate for vegetarian and the pesto linguini is simply divine.
I came here with a party of six and luckily had no trouble making reservations on the morning of my visit. The atmosphere was great and the restaurant is also child friendly.
The menu has a good variety of choices, and we ordered burgers, pesto linguine and the rosti. If ordering burger, I would recommend going medium rare for the beef patty as my burger that was medium done was too dry for my liking.
The pesto was bold in flavor and was a good portion.
The restaurant had a large drinks menu stocked with healthy juice choices and were reasonably priced.
I had a great experience and would recommend this to anyone looking for a very nice place to relax and chill with friends.
Love the ambience. Very nice and place to chill for a weekend brunch. Good selection of fusion food. Just beside the Botanic Garden is a bonus.
Quiet place for dinner on a weeknight. The portion for food was small and tasty but we were aiming for small bites. Price was a little steep for small portions.
We have been coming here for many years and the food quality is consistently good, especially the burgers.
Unfortunately customers are forced to use their phone to scan the QR code in order to see the menu, select their own items, place the order and it's also mandatory to pay with digital payment methods only (you still pay 10% service charge even though most of the service is done by yourself.
Tried char siew burger today, for the first time. Not bad. Truffle fries not heavily infused with truffle oil. Relish is one of my favourites for quality beef burger.
Food and service is good, during my visit unfortunately, many tables with children and all the children sitting together running amok with no adult intervention.
Food is very good. Char siu burger is very flavorful. Burgers are also good. The place has a nice ambiance and good natural lighting.
Excellent burders. We tried the original rocket, children's cheese burger and mushroom burger. Children and adults really loved them.
One of the nicest burgers we had in town!
Food and drinks (including alcoholic) options are adequate for brunch or even dinner.
Ambience is great and food is green (like how a normal egg Benedict breakfast should be) avocado salsa is quite substantial and I actually love their cherry tomatoes 😂
Do remember to make reservation if you are coming during weekdays lunch hour to avoid queueing as it seems quite packed
Went there for dinner at around 6:45pm on a weekday night. Restaurant was not very crowded and was a pleasant atmosphere for a girls’ dinner/birthday celebration. Service was very good, with staff who were attentive and even went the extra mile to offer to keep our purchased cake in the fridge as well as serve it with a candle when we were done with dinner.
Food was also really good and my friends enjoyed it as well. We ordered the salad, sweet potato fries, tomato cream crabmeat pasta and orh luah (add pasta). Would recommend all of these dishes. Overall had a great experience.
Not particularly bad but just uncertain as to what this place is trying to be. Perhaps it's just changed as the menu didn't seem to be Relish. A mix of Asian fusion food that unfortunately seemed to succumb to the (con)fusion pitfall. Perfectly fine for a quick drink or snack but not a destination eatery in my opinion.
Situated in a corner. Quiet and nice ambience. Staff very helpful and polite.
Worth a try! Love their fish dumpling 🥟 and oyster omelette pasta dish!!
Mediocre food for a high price. Probably due to it being opened by celebrity chef. It's not that the food is bad, but it's also not outstanding. Which makes it expensive at this price point. For a place that is famous for its burger, the burger is only so so. Best dish is their mushroom prata pizza which u can technically make yourself at home with frozen prata.
Beautiful cafe with good food. Natural tasting drinks (lime with Basil) and vegetarian mushroom cream sauce pasta.
I like when a restaurant has a nice atmosphere. Relish has its due to the perfect location being in a nice shop-house type of building. But also the colors, the spacey arrangement and the general mood of the place was very charming. We went there for a family lunch before our walk in the Botanic Garden. We explored the whole block, every single restaurants and stores and Relish was the obvious choice. You ordered the food via QR code. I understand why the F&B industry is moving to this direction but I miss the interaction with the staff. They were around but I had the feeling that their presence and our presence were parallel to each other. No encounter. The only meeting point was when they brought out the food. I am on a gym+diet route so I ordered a chicken rice, which was not like the known Hainanese Chicken Rice I guess they just named it like this to make it more familiar. But actually it was DELICIOUS. The chicken was perfectly done and the way they prepared the brown rice was really good. I loved every single elements of the dish and it was surprisingly filling. My wife ordered a large burger and I tasted it. It was also perfect. Melting in your mouth. My daughter had bolognese pasta, and she said it was very good. She is very sensitive if the bolognese is bitter or too juicy. It was just perfect, according to her. Together with some deserts we paid almost $100 for the meal which is completely okay price for us when we go out. Knowing the there are much more expensive places in similar nice locations, Relish has a great value for your money.
It’s amazing the ratio of staff to service rendered is inverse. They had 3 staff standing by the counter chatting during lunch service. I went up to them to order food as I didn’t want to download anything on my phone just to order, but weh woa you couldn’t possibly do this. It doesn’t exist, I m clearly from another planet. They didn’t notice me leaving either
Experienced some minor inconveniences regarding the food's wait time, however the manager was nice enough to inform us about a problem regarding their app. They gave us some free drinks amd other than that, the food ended being amazing, even worth the long wait.
Great ambience with nice music
Food is served promptly
this is decent place. close to Botanic Gardens. Their Hamburger and pasta was really nice! I recommend it!
Bowl of krapow bee tai mak costs $17.50 but when it arrived, it was a huge disappointment - size and flavour. A couple of pieces of pork mince… barely any noodles and super bland.
Been a while since I've been back to Relish.
Used to be my go to for burgers.
The relish burger is still as good as they come. Juicy patty with an unmatchable relish that compliments the party amazingly.
My wife thoroughly enjoyed her relish burger and I enjoyed the little bit she left for me.
I, on the other hand, saw something that, to me, was new on the menu. Kra pow Bee tai bak and figured I'd have a go.
When it was served, I instantly regretted my choice and that was confirmed as I took my first bite.
Underwhelming to say the least.
Small portion of not so flavourful kra pow really ended the dish. For $17 at that, have anything else on the menu but that.
Disappointing from Relish, I thought it would something awesome like the hae bee hiam spaghetti but it was a far cry.
Pretty peeved about having to scan a QR code for the menu and to place an order when the data connection there was pretty bad. Furthermore items were not presented consistently in the menu, with some items not having any photos.
I had the breakfast plate and an espresso milkshake and was won over by the softness of the bread. The edges were crispy, but the rest was soft yet felt '"filling" upon biting in. The potato bits were also decently crispy without being oily.
Espresso bits were well scattered throughout the milkshake, and the ice cream was well-blended. Could do with a larger serving given the price though.
Overall 4 stars for the food and drink.
Great burgers and a lovely coconut pandan shake. The hei bee hiam pasta was great, spicy and delicious.
Sadly, they no longer do the blue cheese and william pear beef burger.
Burger was done very well and I will additionally note the souses - very delicious.
Good for the weekend brunch with friends and family. Food was nice.
Consistent old name in the area - never fails to meet expectations every time I come around. the Asian fare is good too! In case you aren't in the mood for burgers. Family friendly options available - great for young families!
Made a reservation for weekend brunch right after hiking in the area. was seated immediately upon arrival.
Food was great! tried their blue cheese beef burger paired with pear slices - not my order by choice, only because my friend ordered this but she can't consume vegetables (for context, we informed the staff to remove all vege BUT there were onions mashed with the beef patty hence impossible to remove; would be ideal if this was either mentioned in the item description or more practically, service staff could remind customer abt this...? especially since the customer did mention no vege )
nonetheless, beef patty was thick and juicy, medium rare was well executed. would come back to try other burgers again. sadly service was quite "meh" i.e. below expectations. waitresses seem quite clueless and it's not just one of them... kudos to the senior staff who displayed professional service standards
The queue was very long. I came here to celebrate my friend’s birthday and the staff were kind enough to help us keep the cake in the fridge!
I got a rosti, and my other friends got burgers. The rosti was good. This place is a bit on the expensive side but the atmosphere was nice.
Char Siew Burger and seafood burger were tasty.
But place is overpriced.
Suggestion -please indicate on your menu that there is 10% + 7% in addition to the price. It’s basic business courtesy.
We had 2 burgers + sweet potato fries and 2 drinks (one beer + one cocktail). No dessert and no coffee.
Total bill was $95.
Nice cafe in Cluny Court. I had a very good burger (cheese and bacon): well cooked with a lovely relish. Coffees were good quality too.
Bad:
1. One staff almost threw a cup to us - not sure if he did that bc he was busy, but definitely killed our excitement before meal. Other was quite aggressive too
2. Implicit pressure to leave as soon as possible.
Good: High quality food, Nice interior design
My tastebuds were surprised by all the dishes that we had ordered here.
We had ordered the following:
1) oyster omelette spaghetti - spicy and right up my alley
2)hae bee hiam spaghettini- spicy as well soo good
3) crabmeat linguini- a bit sweet for my taste but stil good
4)strawberry shortcake ice cream- the textures of the cream cheese, ice cream with pie base and strawberries was so good
5) rose and lychee cake - I liked this the least. Would not recommend.it.
No matter, I would still give them a 5 star as the first 4 dishes shine so bright.
Good job you guys.
I love hamburger here. It’s enough for man, and tasty and can enjoy the meat itself. Although the cluny court is so crowded, we could find several seat here. Not so noisy, so you can enjoy talking each other while eating.
The magazines are hanging on wall, and you can even buy it if you like. Interesting!
Food was ok although nothing to shout about. Will I come again? No
Love the place and the food . We were late for 15 mins and the seat was given to Someone ( understandable) however we were given the next empty seats once it was available. So far the experience was cozy and I would love to come back the 2nd time.
Some of my friends love it, but I guess I have a different palette when it comes to my burger. I like my hot patties, not lukewarm but hot. My buns have to be toasty and there is the art of mixing sauces soggy stuff and crisp textures so that you don't end up with a dripping soggy burger. I think they can do better.
went there last year after a walk in botanic garden.. the burger is filling and the drinks are fantastic! we love the deco there cuz it's quite cooling and the staff there are quite friendly 2... it's a great place for weekend brunch so that you may have a good stroll in botanic garden after the satisfied meal😊
Western food with a wonderful avocado juice. Nice fries and excellent salads. It's a bit pricey, but a nice place at Cluny court near botanical gardens.
The food was good with reasonable price. Worth a visit if you have not been here before. Serving western fusion food, some dishes are unique on its own mixing Singapore taste into what is originally western dish.
Relish
This casual eatery serves burgers, brunch and everything in between. Great location to have a bit before entering the Botanic Gardens

Best crabmeat linguine. Nice ambience. Now opens daily and for long hours. Can just send my kid to classes and then come over for tea
Ordered a salmon bowl to go, food was great albeit a little on the pricey side. I ordered this to go and waited about 15 minutes. Hope this helps!
Blue cheese William pear beef burger and wild rocket beef burger are their classic. End your meal with a deconstructed strawberry cheesecake. Love it.
Visited on Saturday around 2pm. The store was almost full. The atmosphere was good and the food was delicious. I want to visit again.
