A lovely cafe at Hong Lim that’s becoming a cafe enclave in recent years. The drinks are very good - the spring coffee had a gula Melaka + coconut flakes rim, while the matcha strawberry / mango was a nice blend & balance of matcha & strawberry/ mango. Biscoff brownie was served warm and not overly sweet. The cafe is also very pretty and it’s a great place for catchups and conversations. Highly recommended!

The spring coffee is a coconut coffee that’s slightly sweet and it’s really good!! Super delicious. Only 4 stars (instead of 5) because I think it’s a bit pricey. The latte was $7 and quite small. Matcha is $7.50-$8.60. The wifi is good! There are a few outlets. The seats are comfortable. Good place to sit with a laptop/computer and study or do some work. They also have some breakfast options which seem good! And baked goods / desserts which look yummy.

I had the best experience at Spring Coffee! Not only did the Strawberry Matcha taste so good,, the staff’s service was exceptional! Greeted each customer with a smile and a friendly welcome making the atmosphere/vibe of the cozy cafe feel so warm and welcoming🫶🏻 It is rare to see such good service and friendliness from staff especially when it gets busy in cafes! 10/10 would recommend 🥹 Just note that if you come on weekends there may be a queue to get a seat! Please make the strawberry matcha a permanent item in the menu! Really the best out there!

Absolutely love this cafe! The coffee is good. The atmosphere is cozy, making it the perfect spot to unwind or catch up with friends. The lady boss is friendly and welcoming. Definitely gonna be my go-to place for a delicious cup of coffee and a relaxing vibe.

What a lovely place to have your coffee, tea or eat a sandwich! The way that Ren ( possibly not well written, sorry) prepares everything is mesmerising, dedication and love on all she serves. Couldn’t be happier of finding this little jewel of Singapore.

Located in Hong Lim food centre area, this coffee place is one of the few with decent seatings in a modern clean vibe. They serve their own coffee blend sourced locally with desserts on the side. They also served water to the tables without prompt, which is much appreciated after some hawker food. We had a flat white each and were both underwhelmed by the coffee and yuzu cheesecake. Nonetheless this place is great to chill and chit chat, after a hawker food indulgence.

Made with their homemade strawberry jam base, and topped with strawberry milk, this added a good and sweet balance to the matcha. Although the milk and matcha initially tasted like separate components, they mixed well towards the end, and we especially liked the texture of the jam! ☺️ 𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗮 ($𝟴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗱) 🍵🧊 This was really earthy and bitter, but not the umami kind. Their matcha is unsweetened by default and the matcha sure packed a punch, so it may not be for everyone! 🫡 While we didn’t catch the promo in time, but we’re glad that this spring themed strawberry matcha is now a permanent item (albeit with limited quantities per day) 🙌🏻🍓 The ambience at Spring Coffee was lovely, and the wood furnished space was cozy and calming with a rustic charm. It was a rainy day when we went - and everyone was huddled indoors, watercolouring, crocheting, catching up with friends or getting their work done. We would love to come back and try their coffee! ☕️

love the yuzu matcha! i really like how we can add the matcha in ourselves and try the sparkling yuzu on its own first 🫶🥰 super refreshing drink that i’d gladly get again! we spilled our drink by accident and they didn’t hesitate to replace another for us — thank you so much for this! ❤️

Great place to chill in the hustle and bustle of Chinatown. Had a limited edition dirty matcha, which is a “May” promo and it was really tasty. The kaya and butter croissant was really good too - crispy and yet soft at the same time. Service was excellent too!

First-time dropping by Spring Coffee after a friend had recommended me to go. A quaint little cafe nestled on the 2nd level of Hong Lim Complex, their Strawberry Matcha Latte has the perfect equilibrium of bitter & sweet, infused with copious amounts of strawberry pulp & ceremonial-grade Uji matcha. At a higher price point of SGD$8.50, the drink itself commands alot of respect & is worth every sip. Customer service is also top-notch. Will be coming back again!

Quiet cafe with really chill vibes. Tried the seasonal matcha yuzu drink which was really nice! Matcha was of great quality. Love that they separated the matcha from the yuzu drink so you can customise the tea intensity. Hope they keep it as a permanent menu item. Will be back for sure! 🫶🏻

Definitely a bit more acidic than I like but still great especially when it’s still hot. Didn’t like it as much as it cooled because it tasted even more acidic. My partner on the other hand really liked the flavour profile⁣ ⁣ 🤍 𝗪𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞 (𝟓𝐨𝐳) - $5⁣ I always enjoy a good white coffee, and this was apparently the Obelisk blend by @2degreesnorth. Fragrant coffee with a really smooth mouth feel, plus the pretty latte art, it’s a win for me!⁣ ⁣ 🍄 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐡 - $6.50⁣ Didn’t see this danish the previous time we dropped by and glad we got to try it! Crispy, cheesy and umami-filled, a great savoury item to get. They’ve also got the cheese & scallion scone which I’ll definitely try the next time I visit⁣ ⁣ 🍌 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝 - $5⁣ ⁣We love a classic banana bread and this was sooooo good!! Pretty aesthetic cafe tucked at the corner of Hong Lim complex. Came here for their spring matcha series. Staffs were really friendly! Edit: matcha was very thick and the sweetness came from the strawberry compote. overall a very balanced drink.

visited on a saturday afternoon and the ambience was sooo lovely! the place is tucked away in a quiet corner of hong lim complex. the flower decorations, posters and little quotes found around the cafe made it feel so homey. absolutely loved their strawberry matcha 🫶🏻 got mine w strawberry milk but u can opt for regular milk too! the strawberry jam was swert and complemented the matcha nicely, and the matcha wasn't too astringent or grassy. wld come back to try the kombucha and other coffee options!

I came here to read quietly. The volume of the background music is just right, so it doesn't get in the way of conversation, and it doesn't interfere with your concentration while reading. Impressed. The unsweetened matcha latte is also delicious. If it were cheaper I would have had a second drink, but since it's more expensive than a hawker meal😅, I'm a self-proclaimed frugal person so I'm hesitant. I like that it feels like a hideout.
