Great to see a really pet-friendly eatery with quite a number of doggies. A good variety of pet food is available for your furry friends. We were given the table nearest to the toilet, presumably because we came without dogs, so we were kinda "isolated" from the rest of the restaurant. The food was fine and well priced. Dinner food starts at 5pm. Unfortunately a piece of egg shell was found in the Eggs Royale Waffles that we had - informed the waitress who seemed quite apologetic. But such an oversight shouldn't have happened. The Rosti was a little charred at the bottom, so that added a slight bitter taste, not the most delightful. For the above reasons, I'm giving 4 stars for the food. The saving grace was the "Coco Noir" ice cream, absolutely delicious, not too sweet, a must-have for chocolate lovers! Don't give chocolates to your doggie friend though! 🍫🐶 The ambience was pleasant, although the dog barks were rather amplified within the restaurant. Fortunately dog barks weren't frequent. Dogs were generally friendly. I noticed that when reserving a table, dog owners can indicate in the reservation form whether their dogs are friendly. I guess if they aren't, they might be seated further away from the rest of the tables. Will return one evening to try the dinner food - ribs, fish & chips and half spring chicken.

My absolute favourite here is the mud monster with a scoop of gelato. Kept coming back for more. I usually like waffles with ice cream, but not here. The waffles go really well with savoury food though, like the Eggs Royale Waffles (smoked salmon and avocado on top of waffles) Pet friendly, so I've seen a number of dogs and cats here. Really depends on luck whether you have very chill ones or really skittish and barkish ones.

A cozy pet friendly cafe to enjoy brunch with my the other half. Many cute dogs are seen here and they look pretty relax chilling with their owners. For food wise, will recommend their Benedict waffles, is really so tasty especially the hollandaise sauce is so rich and nicely concocted :) hope to come back again soon.

A Cozy Haven for Animal Lovers Visiting the Urban Hideout with my family and our lovely dog Goldee was a delightful experience. The decor is charming, with a mix of cozy seating and making it an ideal spot to relax. The cafe offers a variety of beverages and snacks, with the menu catering to both humans and pets. The signature waffle and gelato were top-notch, and I appreciated the selection of Coffees. What really sets this place apart, however, is the opportunity to interact with adorable resident animals. The staff at The Urban Hideout were incredibly friendly and attentive. Overall, The Urban Hideout is more than just a cafe it’s a heartwarming experience.

A small and cozy pet friendly cafe in Sembawang, good to chill with friends but not a great option for food and coffee. The coffee is towards a more bitter note which makes it hard to enjoy. We ordered the mushroom soup, Eggs Royale waffle, Truffle Al Funghi, and French Beef Bourguignon. Personally I find that the pasta was quite sticky although you do get a strong Truffle taste. The rice that comes with the beef stew was very sticky and wet. Probably cooked too long? Only the Eggs Royale waffles was good although the poached egg was slightly over cooked. Mushroom soup was not bad too! Overall a place worth to check out if you’re looking for waffles and ice cream! Will be trying that out the next time we’re there :)

I tried the chocolate-flavored ice cream at the shop, and it was decent but not exceptional. However, I did notice that the waiting time was a bit long, even though there weren't many customers. Small place that charges for water. Overall, the ice cream was enjoyable, but the waiting experience could have been improved.

Went there for dinner. Pets friendly place. I had the rosti and it was yummy! Friend had the pasta and we both tried the craft beers. Waffle was firm and soft on the inside. Very filling waffle i must say. Overall cosy enviroment.

Second visit with our pet 🐶 great ambience and food! Ordered the Eggs Benedict Waffles, Truffle Tator Tots and Caramel Latte. The waffles were buttery and fluffy! It was still crispy on the outside even when eaten cold👍🏻 (we ate real slow 😅) Couldn’t finish the Tator tots as the portion was big. Caramel Latte sweetness was just right as we requested it to be less sweet. Highly recommend and will be back again if we happen to come by yishun area! 😀

Excellent service with delicious food! Love their Egg Benedict Waffle and all the brunch menu there. Pasta and curry chicken were tasty too. Food was served very fast and the portion was generous too😋(this is impt to us🤭). All the staffs were attentive and friendly. This is one of rare cafes in Singapore which dogs are allowed indoor. We went this cafe with our dogs for celebrating my dog birthday. They offered us many help and a private space too. ❤️ Thanks for making our day so special. :D Would definitely head back again! 💯

All the food were a solid 4/5 to 4.5/5 With the mushroom soup a tad too salty but it tastes good with a good chunk of proper mushrooms too!, and truffle spaghetti was too oily. But barely a complain more a sharing if u are one that fray from too salty or oily food. Lastly a point off as our coffee spoon was stained and we had to clean it ourselves. Will recommend .

Cozy place. Unfortunately the waffles are overrated. Waffles served cold is a no no for any waffle dish. Not much fragrance in the waffles as well. Crispy though despite that it’s cold. Only advantage is that it allows pets. Otherwise , pretty ordinary.

Food wise limited choice of mains.. had the chicken chop and rosti.. edible but nth fantastic or to queue up for. Coffee was decent. The gelato are amazing. Good taste of earl grey and after8. Would visit again for the gelato.

Ordered their bbq pork ribs and fried chicken. Bbq ribs are good and their fried chicken wings tasted even better. Didn't had the chance to try their ice cream as we were too full. Pet friendly cafe so you can bring your pets in! Recommend to try their fried chicken!

This cafe is pet friendly place, the staff seems to be comfortable around pets. Food is of above average, better than most of the pet cafe around. Expect to spend about $15 per pet and $25 per human. Place is at a hidden area of Singapore, escape from the usual crowd. The rosti is delicious and cook nicely.

Came here for early dinner, probably a good idea to reserve your table in advance. We had the spring chicken, truffles fries, and waffles. The fries disappointed, wasn't salted properly. While the spring chicken came to us, bloody, it was quickly replaced and came back really tender and aromatic. The waffles was crispy and the dark chocolate gelato and rum & raisin ticked off all the boxes. Overall, generally fair experience, although some minor misses. 3.5 stars.

Found this dog friendly gem while googling for new cafe to visit. Cosy earthy feeling. Friendly boss and staff to strike a conversation with, makes you feel like home. Price of the food is as per usual cafe, within 18sgd budget to get a main and 7sgd to get cup of coffee. For driver, you can park along the roadside but be sure to be early. Otherwise bus stop is a stone throw away. Busses coming from yishun and amk area.

It’s rare to have places that allow you to bring your pet in most of the time they only allow them to stay out in the hot sun but I was pleasantly surprised that I was allowed to bring my doggy in! I mainly only came in here to have a little treat. While ordering, it was amazing to have such a wide array of flavours of gelato . the staff were also so friendly in suggesting flavours to me as I had a hard time choosing. In the end, I got waffles with a scoop of milk and honey gelato. while waiting for my order, I observed that the waffles were freshly made which was a pleasant surprise as other places usually have it pre-made. The waffles arrived hot (obviously) and the gelato was smooth to the taste, not so sweet but super creamy. I really loved the gelato, would recommend to everyone to try it out!! 💗💗

When to this place often on my free time and off days . Honestly the food here is surprisingly good like really good every time i come here ill try every each of one in their menu . Even tho im afraid of dog some good and respectful owners knows how to take care of the pets and not let them roam around unattended, unlike some irresponsible owners just leave their dog to roam around and bark here and there!! But im here to give a honest experiences/review staff was lovely kind and very helpful so is the cafe with nice and chilling music would definitely recommend u guys to come here as i myself keep on coming for their breakfast highly recommended! Affordable delicious n wonderful experience every time i come over except for the irresponsible pet owners 🤣 even after the staff tell them of nicely they still want to argueZzz i mean its your pet and it’s your responsibility to take care of them if them miss behaving . Anyways shout out to the Philippine lady at the counter miss Joanna she makes my whole experience more welcoming!

The manager (I think) was very welcoming. Approached us when we were checking out the menu, saw that we have our pup with us and mentioned our pup can come in too (a huge plus!). The restaurant is also very clean and hygienic, I did not smell any funky pet smell that most pet friendly restaurants have. Ordered fish and chips and wagyu burger. Food portion for both were generous. Fish and chips was very crispy, freshly fried. Wagyu burger was great too. Love the taro latte, it was really yummy and fragrant, hard to find elsewhere. Will pop by to try other stuff on the menu next time.

Food is amazing! Especially the ribs! The main ribs goes well with any of it's given sides and absolutely worth the money! The atmosphere is very relaxing and the staff is friendly. They also have pretty good ice cream as dessert. Personally liked the rum & raisins a lot. (Rum taste was very strong 👌) 11/10 will go again!

Best place to bring a dog. As pawrents, we are always on the look out for pet friendly eateries. We've tried several cafes over the past months and always find ourselves back here. They serve good food, great waffles & ice cream, craft beers and meals for the doggos! 10/10 will recommend!

Lovely neighbourhood restaurant with great pasta, fried chicken, and rosti ( my favourite) + small but awesome gelato selection. Requested the lady at the counter to split one scoop into two cups for my kids and she gave both of them a bit extra. thank you for your generosity and great service!

Visited the place on Good Friday, the crowd of dogs and hoomans were expected. Reservations were made but we still had to wait for the previous diners to clear, we were seated only 15min later despite being the first to arrive i.e. the rest of the diners who came after us got settled in earlier than us. The good seat lifted our dampen spirits a little, 4 of us and 3 dogs settled into a nice corner with the street view. The interior of the cafe is nicely spaced out, I found the layout very friendly for both big groups and small groups, recommended for pawrents definitely but you will need to be creative in finding parking lots, the biggest challenge. I received my very first ticket after 4 years, but so was a whole row of cars around the street - Lunch just got more expensive. Food was average, spaghetti and curry were normal, sister liked the waffles+ice cream.

Came here on a weekend night around 10pm with my family to have desserts. Upon ordering, we were informed that they were closing at 10.30pm and we acknowledged it. Had their waffles with ice cream which was good but considerably expensive. However, the staff had reminded us again on the closing time 10 mins before and again a few mins later, as if trying to rush us or afraid we don't get it. We felt disappointed by the service shown to us. While we understand the need to get off work on time, it was not as if we were overstaying past closing time. Would think twice about eating here again even though we stay nearby. We remember the owners to be friendly and pleasant people, and hope they can look into this.

One of the best chocolate gelato that you can find in singapore! Its a hit combo with the amazing waffles. The kids couldnt get their hands off it. And the adults hit has to be the curry chicken. Sedap!!!!!
