Used to frequent this outlet back when my office space was right beside it and because Ya Kun's line was wayyy too long. Staff are always very nice but of course, portion of their food is small. I would take friendly service and pay a higher price over lousy service with good food and bigger portions every other day.

The food was good but the staff's treatment is cold and hostile. Very unfriendly and they way they speak as if owing them their lives. Unlike Ya Kun Kaya Toast located just opposite their treatment towards customer are more warm and welcoming. No wonder there are more patrons there in the morning compared to Toastbox. A little courtesy and politeness goes a long way. Plus a smile won't hurt either. Not gonna patron this branch anymore.

Delicious and affordable breakfast!!

Classic and inexpensive Singaporean breakfast. Just be careful about the type of coffee (kopi) they are automatically sweetened and with milk.

I tried it out of curiosity, and the bread was softer than Yakun, and the kaya jam and butter were a bit refreshing. I think the refreshing taste is the main feature here. The coffee was strong like poison. ㅎㅎㅎ
