Ordered some meat, like tom yum chicken - good, sausages nice and chewy, mooping was ok only, garlic pork was ok and pork jowl was good. 2 types of Chilli sauce. Both are good.

Wow! This place is da bomb. Wei How's sense of balance in the flavours are spot on. Nothing is bland or over flavoured. Leaving the beautifully marinated meats to shine. Finish of the meal with the premium beef. Fantastic value for the quality of steak you are getting.

Came on a Friday evening. Fairly crowded and services were quick. Have long been wanting to try the mookata here (we work nearby). Price is reasonable given the portion (meat platter). Tried their cockles and I love it. Its not overly cooked. Meat are flavourful and portion as seen in the picture would be just nice for 3 person (we were struggling to finish for 2). Definitely will return back here for mookata should we have cravings for it again.

Nice mookata. Mooping & Japanese oyster is worth to try. The mookata pork is delicious. The ambience is thankfully neither too hot nor stuffy on the evening we went. The fans provide appropriate ventilation for good dining experience. Recommend to fix your mookata cravings if you are nearby.

Fantastic Mookata 🙌🏽 together with my wife, we order meat platter @ $38 and vegetable 🥗 platter, meats were well seasoned, and fresh. They provide 2 types of chili, we both love the sweet & sour thai chili which have a lime taste, feel refreshing. Meats + chill + beer = heavenly combo 🤙🏻 We add on Tom yam mama magi mee and add the seasoning ingredients into the soup together with the oil from the meats. Really delicious 🤤

This place serves delicious mookata at fair and affordable pricing. For a group of 3, normally I would get a set for 2 and top it up with a few a-la carte dishes. Would highly recommend the oysters 🦪 and the special marinated beef slices The owners are also very friendly and likes to engage customers for feedbacks to improves on his food. Mookata meat platter and super fresh oysters. All the meats are so delicious..Well marinated with herbs and spices and not sugar larden ingredients. Whoa, I think this is the best mookata in Singapore I ever had.. everything is so fresh and nice. 😳

Best mookata we've been so far! Most of the meat doesn't have any sauce but they still have this yummy taste! (hard to explain cauz it's so good!!) Chili sauces were also good! Highly recommend and surely we’re going back 💯👌

Very clean hawker centre and the environment is cooling enough for mookata. I will strongly recommend the pork jowl and tomyam pork belly as their specialty. Enjoyed the milky broth, together with the Thai mama instant noodles and kangkung. Best combination.

Probably the best mookata in term of taste. Garlic chicken is the best. Black pepper pork belly tasted black pepper and lemon grass chicken taste the flavor. I'm writing this beocs most mookata joint meat all taste the same despite different flavor indicated. Overall a satisfying meal!

One of the best mookata I had in Singapore. We had their ala carte menu and tried their pork, beef, chicken and seafood. The meats and seafood are fresh. Seasoning is top notch, on point and not salty, the mookata broth is very good too. Meats are thinly sliced making them cook easily without burning the outside. Oyster is big, creamy and sashimi grade making them super value for money. Great work guys. Will definitely be back for more.

Ordered meat platter, veg basket, ala carte thai fish cake, mama noodle and beef shortplate. Portion is more than enough for 4 pax. Total $56. Meat is flavourful, esp the lemongrass-marinated ones. 2 types of chilli are served and they are shiok with one of them being lemongrass-infused. Pork lard is chunky and yummy when charred. Envt at the coffeeshop wld be better if smokers cld be more considerate.

Had an absolutely delightful experience at Yak Kin Mookata! The food here is scrumptious, thick cuts of meat, sure to make you satisfied. They also went above and beyond by making special accommodations for us, serving us our broth in a handcrafted clay pot that was made in Thailand, instead of the regular grill. It was accompanied by a special broth they use to provide us with a truly authentic Thai Mookata experience, loaded with spices, a very unique spiciness to the broth that some it should be noted some may not be able to appreciate, which started off tasting great and somehow managed to get even tastier as the meal progressed! This unique touch made our dining experience truly exceptional. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Yak Kin Mookata is a hidden gem in the Bukit Merah neighbourhood! The food here is not only delicious but also incredibly affordable. We had mookata platter set @ $38 and the portion was just right for 2 pax. The variety of ingredients and flavors they offer are fresh and top-notch. Highly recommend!

First visit with boyfriend (him being the third visit🤤). The food is so fresh and the sauce is delicious (no wonder he has been there for so many times 🤣). The pricing is definitely value for the portion and the freshness offered! The oyster totally is my favourite!!! We ended up having 8 oysters in total!!! Definitely must take the recommendation from the boss. That is to try the oyster with their sauce. Perfect combo.

Had cravings for a good mookata, googled it and went for the highest rating place around where I was. Went over with a little skeptism but was I very impressed. I went to Yak Kin for the first time last night and was completely taken aback by the deliciousness and quality of their food! The broth and Thai homemade sauce pairs wonderfully with their various dishes. In addition to Mookata, they also serve delicious oysters from Japan. It would be crazy for me to not recommend this place of superb taste to anyone.

I had a great time having Mookata here at Yak Kin. I ordered the Mookata Platter, as well as the Gong Gong. Wah the Mookata Platter had 4 huge prawns, 2 juicy scallops and many different varieties of meat! The best part, it was only $38! The Gong Gong was also damn big and tasty and cost $12. 😃😃 Will definitely come back again if I’m in the vicinity! 👍👍

We came for cafe but ended up with mookata instead. We were impressed with the great service and attention to food delivery that the young stall owner provides. From the pork soup base to huge sashimi oysters and well marinated chicken/ pork collars. He is also able to educated our kids on the freshness process of F&B within his stall. All thumbs up!
