Very powerful temple prayers will be answered
Very beautiful Indian style Hindu temple with many gods and goddesses. Many vegetarian restaurants near by to try. Next door is guan Yin temple.
Colourful. Gorgeous. Narrative. Experiential. Right within city centre. This is a hindu temple that had been recently renovated that is worth visiting. Gives a glimpse into a religion practised throughout Asia. Best of all, it is located just 50m from the iconic buddhist temple worshipping the Goddess of Mercy which is also worth a visit. Google info of the 2 religions beforehand to maximise your understanding.
One of the best divine temple in Singapore in littile india
A must place to visit
Located next to the Kwan Im Thong Hood Cho (Guanyin) temple on Waterloo Street, this unassuming but beautiful and gorgeous architecture and intricate carvings and statuary is dedicated to Krishnan. Easily accessible by public transit and a short walk down Waterloo Street. A temple that I overseas friends and visitors to visit in Singapore.
🙏🙏🙏 visited on August 29, 2023. Take note of the Celebration Schedule from the photo added.

The temple is so beautiful.
So peaceful and divine.
Beautiful church that has it's historical significance to Singapore. Standing through the test of time, this sanctuary is indeed a testimony of God's goodness and greatness. Love the traditional Anglican morning services in the Nave, as well as the contemporary ones. Definitely worth a visit for all! To God be the glory!
Architecture of church is very good. It is Anglican cathedral in Singapore. Lot of tourists visit this Church. It is country's largest cathedral. Easy to reach via City Hall, MRT station. It is also a historical church.
Cathedral is large, quiet and beautiful. It’s a perfect place to pray.
One of the main Krishna Temple uniquely placed in the heart of Singapore. Many devotees offer prayers. Mostly crowded

It's a nice little temple in Waterloo Street.. Having very good vibes.. must visit for everyone who visits Singapore
Small and beautifully crafted temple. Use of pink marble-like stone, and colourful ornate sculptures give the temple a rich appearance.
Very beautiful temple! If you come after seven in the evening, you have the opportunity to look at temple rituals. Entrance to the temple is free and available to everyone. Hare Krishna! 🙏
It's a beautiful temple but I wished they would remove the white tent that has been there for years. That is not part of the building and it is blocking the beauty of the temple. It's such a shame.
An unique Indian temple which is frequented by Chinese devotees who give offerings to the Hindu gods.
I remembered that during certain events, they offer food to the devotees too.
Very popular place of worship among locals
Loved it.. enjoyed the abishegam.

A wonderful spiritual retreat for Hindu devotees. Serene and peaceful place for prayer and meditation

Sri Krishnan temple is very crowded
Very pleasant to visit temple
A traditional Hindu temple outside India
Beautiful place for worship!
Hindu temple..to have a peaceful mind.
The entrance should be in front rather behind. Its not a proper way to enter.
Prominent landmark which is just beside the popular Guanyin Temple
Nice place for prayers
Very good ambience.
Very nice atmosphere
Beautiful architecture, large statues of Hindu culture and religion adorn the entrance. The interior is even more beautiful, hundreds of faithful are inside doing their rituals and prayer. We as tourists were welcomed with a smile and were invited to receive a blessing from their priests. There are several altars with the different manifestations of their gods. It is a very religious and mystical place. It was a great experience to visit that place.
A Hindu temple with an exterior that is different from its surroundings. In the morning, it was crowded with many believers.
A very beautiful and sacred temple in the beautiful country of Singapore. Many people come here every day to worship and pray for a peaceful, prosperous and happy life. People can stand on the street to pray inside or write down to pray inside the temple. The space is airy, clean and very beautiful and solemn
This temple is crowded with people and can make people feel very peaceful.
Very beautiful Hindu temple. Too bad someone moved our shoes when we were visiting.
Bronze incense burner with animal head ring in Krishnan Hindu Temple
The Sri Krishnan Temple was built in 1870 and is dedicated to Krishnan, one of the three main gods of Hinduism and the eighth incarnation of Vishnu, the guardian of the universe. What is noticeable is that copper stoves, incense sticks and oil lamps for lighting incense are placed at the entrance of the temple. The style of the incense burner adopts the Cantonese style animal (lion) head ring incense burner produced in Guangzhou and Foshan. Judging from the shape, it dates to the second half of the 20th century. The production area is not limited to Guangzhou, but also places where Chinese people gather in Nanyang are possible production areas.
This shows that this type of incense burner has strong penetration across religions and is used even by Hindus (I wonder if the main god of the incense burner is also Krishnan). Many of the believers are Chinese. It is estimated that the Hindu temple also has a Chinese phenomenon in the use of offering utensils. Or is it possible to use this type of incense burner to attract believers of different ethnic groups?
Sri Krishnan Temple is one of the oldest Hindu temple in Singapore. It is located next to Kwan Im Thong Hood Cho Temple. It is also one of the tourist attraction in Singapore. No entrance fee to enter this temple.
This temple is within 10 minutes walking distance from Bugis or Bencoolen MRT Station. It is nearby to Albert complex.
