Decided to engage Melvin and his team to set up our new apartment's Wi-Fi network as we had previously engaged him and had a very positive experience then as well. What sets him apart from competition is that he ensures to have a very open and meticulous discussion on your internet needs as well as what will work optimally for the layout of your unit. With that, you can rest assured you will have optimized Wi-Fi coverage without the addition of unnecessary hardware. He also does not hesitate to go onsite to troubleshoot and will make all necessary adjustments until your network is set up to yours and his liking. Home Techies - Fantastic Service! We had been struggling with unreliable Wi-Fi for years and thought we'd have to switch internet providers. Thankfully, I contacted Melvin from Home Techies. Melvin was amazing! He came to our house, assessed our messy network setup, checked the connections, cleaned up the wiring, and unified everything. Within an hour, we had a brand new Wi-Fi system! Even better, Melvin was able to use our existing equipment, so we didn't have any extra charges. He did mention some great hardware upgrades if we ever renovate, which is something to consider. Melvin was super patient in answering all our queries, was thorough in troubleshooting and explaining the issue and solutions for us. He was also very transparent and upfront about the costs, sending us the invoice in advance for our reference, then seeking permission before proceeding with the product replacement. Right from the first phone call till the job was completed, Melvin was patient and very professional. when we switched to starhub's new box it caused a whole host of issues. no one could provide a constructive solution until i pinged HomeTechies. from the get go - John who took my WA - he took time to explain to a tech blurr what could be the issue. A week later i decided to have his team come in to help with the intermittent wifii issues we were facing. Melvin came over with Ah Soo. what impressed me was Melvin's patience in explaining the solutions - going through (many times) with me and hubs (we both tech blurr) on how he would be installing a new cable new modem in his study room - helping us "revive" our existing modem ..... AhSoo did the drilling and wiring - fast efficient and after he finished - he asked me where was the dustbin to help clean up. Hubs was like wait we do - but ahSoo had cleared everything in minutes. i recommend anyone who has issue with their wifii please just WA hometechnies! ps now i am sending them to help another friend.

Quite simply, we are most impressed with Mr. Mervin. He came when we indicated that connection problem with our home network of routers. When he found that the problem was actually with a faulty Singtel issued equipment, he took the initiative to redeploy our existing routers to circumvent the faulty equipment. After all that, he insisted on not taken payment immediately until we sort out a replacement of the faulty equipment with Singtel. Such integrity and professionalism. Needless to say, we had to insist that Mr Mervin accept the contracted payment before he left. He is rare!!

My MacBook Pro (model 2011) died on me and I approached Home Techies to retrieve my data in it. They really went above and beyond with their services by, 1) Analysing what broke down on my laptop, and replaced my hard disk with SSD. All my data were retrieved and transferred to the new SSD. Not only is my laptop resurrected, it was upgraded and has a much better performance now. 2) Organising my 3 different emails on a single platform. Now I have a much easier and efficient way to browse all my emails. 3) Recommending and supplied a very simple but effective hardware and instructions to back up all my data in the future. Home Techies also provided many add ons to my MacBook Pro at very reasonable prices. Highly recommended!
