Out of all the therapists I've seen, Jemie has been the one who has connected with me and helped me the most. She was always attentive to my needs and concerns, and took care to ensure that the time spent in therapy was impactful for my healing. At the start of each session, she would ask me what my priorities for discussion were, which I found really empowering. I remember that I came in with a set of concerns, possible diagnoses, and treatment options that I had researched. At first I was afraid that she might be dismissive of them or judge me for having incorrect information, but this was not the case. I felt heard and understood after the session, and had better insight into my condition.
