Reviews of Paya Lebar MRT Station (EW8)
🟢 Paya Lebar MRT Station (EW8 / CC9) is an interchange station along the 🟢East-West Line (EWL) and 🟧 Circle Line (CCL).
✅️ It is built along Paya Lebar Road, near the junction with Sims Avenue.
The Paya Lebar Station is near 3 malls = Paya Lebar Square + Singpost Centre + PLQ aka Paya Lebar Quarters.
This place Singapore yellow code Circle line st no_9, and Green color code Eastwest Mrt station no_8 east west Line Started this Station4nov 1989, Circle line Station started at17apr 2010
Our friendly busker has a powerful voice. Love all the retro ballads & hits he sang… he simply transported anyone listening back to the times of those hits… let’s support talented local talents 😊🙏👍 🎸🎤 🎶🛹
One of the busiest MRT stations in Singapore which has both EW Green Line and Circle Line with surrounded by big shopping malls like PLQ, Payalebar Square , Signpost center and Kinex.
This place is Windy and you need to decide Paya Lebar squares or Paya Lebar quarter. Once your out of the gantry it's a long walk to the other side. Shorter route is to go thru the gantry and get charged 🤣
This is a very conveniently located MRT station that links up the CC line to EW line. It is also very close to the Paya Lebar Square, Paya Lebar Quater and Singpost Centre malls.
SG MRT space is getting worse with crowds rushing in the door concurrently with passengers coming out. Basic etiquette is lost since 2010s
Connecting both east west line and circle line. Easy access to plq and SingPost center.
Great central station. 12 minutes to city hall. East access to the airport. Circle Line brings you to Gardens by the Bay / MBS and to the North/Northeast in the other direction.
Right at the station there are 3 malls, 3 supermarkets and 2 cinemas, lots of food options. It’s a good balance of “not too city” and “not too outskirts” for Singapore.
Only downside: Sunday is extremely crowded. A lot of foreign workers gather to picnic in the park connector.
Also gets crowded when the Bazaars are up, but that has its benefit with great food options at the pasar malam (market).
I enjoyed with busking around MRT stream and nice looking feel free to spend your times.
One of the train interchanges for EW & Circle Line. Has shop lots under its tracks with numerous eateries, Guardian Pharmacy, remittance services.
Extremely crowded on Sundays with foreign workers visiting the surrounding areas.
Always pack there during the weekends or ph.
MRT always best service; stations all are good condition
Station on green line,
Also it is junction of circle line .
Easy to reach downtown by east and west line or using circle line.
There are shopping complexes near by.
First day I go paya lebar mrt ...my heart is pupping... because off paya lebar square... there all brand shops and bar and I meet new culture....I am very happy and my best time ....
Extended my expired MRT's Card till Mar, 2026, the service from the counter was awesome.
Central to the link to many amenities - besides the Paya Lebar shopping centres and SingPost mall.
It's good to see most of the foreign domestic workers gathering with their colleagues to share views and news.
Plq pls all within a short walk away
A very busy transit station that sit in the midst of three plus 2 mall.
PLQ, SINGPOST PLsq plus city plaza n kenix.
Be sure you're clear which exit you need. It's a very spread out place, surrounded by lots of malls plazas and buildings. It's easy to get lost.
Situated near many amenities. Place is bustling with events. Near geylang
this place is always rather crowded and with many malls surrounding it. Good place to go
Clean nice station. Busy location as near shopping malls. Many food choices
Sunday maybe foreigners gathering until lacking space for walking
There are convenient shopping places and places to eat in the surrounding area.
Commuter can change yellow line (Circle line ) and green line (East West line) at Paya Lebar Station.
Quite a bustling little station with Indonesian busker (National day)... A lot of convenient fast food and shops...
Good, clean place with friendly staff. Strategically located near Paya Lebar mall.
Theres like 3 places to shop or just hang out for a bit around here. A big one PLQ, and 2 mini ones, PLS and Singpost
