The quality of the dress is superb! Ms. Desi is super nice, professional and knowledgeable in what she’s doing. I appreciate her suggesting what design would look better. She listened to what I want and gave me some idea what other things should I add to make it look great. She also finished it in less than 2 months which is really great. Also, the price is very affordable. I highly recommend her especially if you’re in a budget but want to have a quality amazing dress.

This is a long overdued review. I first met Desi through luck when looking for an evening gown. It was in 2021 during the covid era. Despite short notice, she was just starting out in this gown business and we met at her place in Woodlands. Her passion is what amazes me and how she started out this journey in Gown alteration is incredulous. We spoke about my budget / time frame / colour and design selection and soon selected one of the gowns she made from scratch from some time back. Oh the details of the gown yet simple and elegant on its own. Speaking to her about her passion and how she started out. She just needed to do the last step which was to alter to my fit. She worked well within the required timeline and viola, we had an evening gown settled. Thank you Desi even though it was 3 years ago since we last spoke. Never got to write the review but incredibly happy that you are doing so well now, even with your very own studio! Keep well!

This was the first (and also last!) bridal shop my hubby and I visited. Desi was friendly and helpful :) Dresses are varied and fully customisable but thankful that I managed to pick a good dress off the rack! Everything I tried was beautiful and it was hard to decide 😍 Best part is you get to keep the dress at a more affordable than usual price. Would recommend :) Thanks Desi!

Absolutely amazing wedding dress and service. Got my wedding dress custom made here and couldn’t be happier with the end result. Desi is very helpful with selecting the style, fabric and just generally making sure it is perfect before the wedding day. She’s friendly and professional, and she really listens to what you want. She makes high quality dresses and the process is quick! Sent my gowns to Desi for alteration. Desi will listen to all your concerns and alter according to your preference. She actually has her own gown collection that she customizes as well. My gowns are ready within a month or so. One fitting and its good to go. For her workmanship and dedication I think she charges a decent price.

We look at several gown rentals and honestly found them to be too expensive (I think others who have only worked for 1-2years like us can relate). Got to know about ame_handmade through my sister's friend, whose daughter got her gown here. Wide selection of designs to suit all budgets Desi is also really professional and patient. She understands what I was looking for and was able to advise and suggest something suitable for the dress. What I liked especially about the dress, other that the nice design and quality workmanship, was the fact that I did not need to wear a wireless bra and the padding for the dress was strong and thick enough (wearing wireless bra and stick-ons can sometimes be uncomfortable for me as I'm not used to it). Overall, Desi and her team did an excellent job and I really liked my dress a lot, realllyyy cute and totally no regrets at all. Thank you very much for making me look good for our special day!

Had the best experience with Desi. Firstly her packages are very reasonably priced and the range of her gowns are pretty wide. Plus if you aren't satisfied with the selection you can even tailor them. Huge shoutout to make up artist Aoi as well! Highly recommended for those with dreaming wedding dress where Sis Desi could actually customised them for you. I had my dress made by her, suits me really well that my other wedding vendor look into the details of the dress. I requested for an overskirt which could match my dress, and yes, she had one too! I had a dilemma whether or not to wear both or only one during my wedding, but my hunch let me wear both on the day. And they make it look fabulous in the photos! ❤️ Love her for her friendliness, and kind heart. Very details in dress making. Dress were customised within the budget. No hidden cost. She altered my reception dress as well to fit me. Her place was comfy. It's not awkward for me to walk in by myself during dress fitting. Definitely will go to her again for any dress making! 😉
